I bought the 35-150 a while back from your recommendation and it’s served me well for sports and portraits. Definitely my favorite zoom lens. 🔥 I would also be interested if you sold your fx3. I live in America but would not have a problem paying shipping if you were to ever sell it. Another great video man!
Bro you have a siiiick set up there! I'm sitting on the a7III for everything, I'd love to have a second body, let alone 4-5 others to play with. I have the Samyang 35-150 being sent to me over the next couple of weeks, I wonder how it would compare to the Tamron. Happy New Year man.

I have a similar set up... but I'm more of a video shooter first than photo. I use my FX3 and A7IV with the Tamron 35-150, the 16-35 GM, the 35 f1.4 GM and the 20 f1.8 G lens... used to own a Sony 85 f1.8 but after the Tamron lens I don't feel the need of the 85 f1.8.

Great stuff some amazing kit! I'd go for the FX3 but having the A7Siii already means I can't justify it right now! Next camera is either gonna be a A7Cii or A7CR still undecided. Should probably look at getting a few more lenses first though! Looking forward to your mid year kit update when it comes!
The A7Siii is essentially the same camera anyways ❤ definitely lenses are more important I think than camera bodies 🙏🏼

One question about the Samyang, about something which I always see talked about lots... is the mount on the Mk 2 better? The reports of a fragile mount breaking off the camera body scared me away from that lens that I would have otherwise loved to add to my arsenal.
Ohh really ? I haven’t heard about this, nor had any experience of it with mine, I’ll have a look online as this is the first I’ve heard about it! But again, I haven’t had any of these issues.

we have very similar tastes in gear the 35-150 is by far my favourite lens I do have the 17-35 but have the poor man’s version (f4 pz) and tbh it’s a great bit of kit I have the Sony A9 (for motorsport n wildlife) the A7 iv for everything else also have the A7riv but am selling that as I don’t need the huge files

Hey Samuel! Found your page and fell in love with your content recently, I've been researching gear to get for a few weeks (maybe even a whole month lol) and I fall back to two options, the Sony a6700 and the Panasonic Lumix S5iiX. I currently have a sony a3000 (2013) that I bought for $165 (back in 2017) and it came with two kit lenses, so it's really dated and unprofessional, my only stopping point in my decision making is the sony is aps-c with one card slot and the Lumix is full frame with two card slots and an internal fan, I live in the U.S. and in Arizona it gets up to 120 degrees fehrenheit for weeks at a time and I think the internal fan might be 100% crucial (not even for just 4k video, but 1080p or photography itself). Lenses for the Lumix and the Sony are very similar so would you choose full-frame or aps-c as a professional camera/something to grow into? both have great autofocus and stabilization so I am really paralyzed...

Would you recommend the Peter Mckinnon, polar pro variable ND, I just ordered mine because it was on sale, but it’s also on back order so it could take a few weeks to arrive. I was trying to decide between that and the Nisi true colour VND 2-5 stop with the add on 6-9 stop combo.
I take family photos for myself and some video, I’m not a pro in any way and I just pretend like I know what I’m doing 😂

Hi, Samuel. When shooting POV do you use an external dji microphone and what do you connect it to? Or the internal microphone of the dji osmo action 4?
Great video, what size bag do you use? I like that bag but can't decide what size as I want to be able to use it for over night travels aswell
Mine is the 31 litre one 🙏🏼 which so far has been enough for me on short trips. I can add clothes to the top as I have some extra room when I unroll the top flap 🙏🏼

Hello! I’m wondering to know what will you turn the circle thing to when you take a photos? Like M P or S or auto🥹( sorry my English isn’t that good)
M is full manual settings, so you control f stop (aperture), shutter speed and iso. P is automatic, camera does everything, S is shutter priority. So the camera prioritises the shutter speed you select and changes all the other settings for you. I use only manual (M).

do you know if the dji mic would be any good with recording vehicle audio?
You can change the db input on the receiver so theoretically it could work for car audio. I assume you mean of the exhaust / acceleration etc.

if your using the lapel mic to talk why do you have the mic on the camera? and if the mic is on the camera hot shoe where is the lapel mic receiver plugged into?
It lives on my camera, hadn’t taken it off from a previous video :) dji Lav mic can record straight on to the transmitter which is how I recorded the audio, then drag it off the transmitter via usb c on to the timeline :)

Wow thats some very expensive shit you got there not everyone can afford that type of gear , i dont want to sound negative but a lot of your followers cant afford a fraction of that type of gear
Neither could I 3 years ago. Neither could I 2 years ago. neither could I 1 year ago, I built up this gear / funds over time to afford the things I want. If anyone thinks I could just go and buy all this stuff at once they’re delusional. There’s always way to get the gear you require. I’ve never used finance but a lot of people can get instalments to pay gear. Yes it’s an expensive set up but I run a creative business that has to cater for many different clients. Which is why I make sure I charge accordingly.
