The 1963-B dollar bill is known as a Barr note, named for Joseph W. Barr who was Secretary of the Treasury from December 21, 1968 to January 20, 1969. Because he only served for 1 month, many people saved these bills thinking they would be rare. It turns out, about 471 million were printed.
