Anyone who enjoys my videos and would like to buy me a coffee, here is a link thanks so much . www.buymeacoff...
You have a lovely bird singing in the background. In the city you no longer hear these pretty birds in Australia. So nice😀😃😁
It was lovely to hear wasn’t it! 🥰
Found this older one for my 2nd cup of coffee this morning.
Nice one! 😊
I love these dies this year too! Your design was on point. Thanks for the inspiration ❣️🇺🇸
My pleasure
Gorgeous and so very creative with really quite a basic bunch of skills overlaid and mixed - Hence mixed media ;-). Love it as always
Thanks so much my friend! 😊
Ooo I need to play! I can just imagine my husbands face when he opens the freezer and sees paper in there 🫣🤣
Right?!
Lucky 13! Just so elegant x
I've always loved 13. We would have gotten married on the 13th if we could but chose the nearest Saturday to it that year which was 15th!
Hi Christine. What an interest g technique -- love how it turned out. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Thanks so much! 😊
You took a simple stamp and made it into an elegant card WOW! What an amazing woman you are. I hope you have fun at the opera and Cleo's sports day
Thank you so much!🥰🥰🥰
Really enjoyed your video. Love how you talk yourself into or out of things😀 TFS ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Love this video! The cracked glass technique has always been one of my favorites. I taught it in a class years ago and everyone was so amazed with the final outcome. Thanks for the reminder to revisit older techniques.
I don't know what made me think of it again, it's still a fun technique!❤️🥰❤️
Christine, interesting technique love ❤️ it…..thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!🥰
Gorgeous- love the idea!!!!
Thank you! 😊
I demonstrated for S.U. from 1997-2007! I have those. Lol. And we did these techniques then. Love it , thanks for the reminder!!
You are so welcome!
Good to see an old favourite again, it looks lovely. I notice a number of the old craft ideas returning. Thank you for the reminder, take care.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you a very pretty card.
You are so welcome!🥰
I learned so much from this video! Thank you, Christine! Missing your posts.
Thank you❤️❤️❤️
New technique to me, Chris. Thanks for sharing it. I'll have to give it a play. Makes a cute card. 🌷 From Cheryl in AZ
It is good fun! 🥰🥰🥰
What a lovely technique! I've never seen this before....but I can't wait to try it! Thank you so much for sharing ❤
You are so welcome!
Hi. Thank you for sharing this lovely card and all the amazing techniques that went into making it. While the touch of gold on the matting piece is pretty I also like the striking effect of it with the white edges showing, too. Thanks again and have a marvelous day.😊
Thanks so much 😊
Thanks for the reminder about this technique. I’ve since started using Tim Holtz crackle paste translucent & his distress crayons. Easier to use, i think. And his deckle trimmer works well too. I am so about easier ways to craft. 😜😜
I just love the vintage style of this card!
You are so welcome!
Well now that I see the video, I know I have never tried
this before, but looks like fun and I love the card!
Thank you🥰🥰
Can't wait to try this it looks like fun and it's so pretty and unique.🤩 Love it! Thank you!
Hope you enjoy it!🥰🥰🥰
@@Chrissieannie I did it was fun and I love how it looks. 🥰
Interesting technique. I've not seen the Rip Ruler before......a quick google search and I have a set ordered. So thanks for that. I can't tear a decent line to save myself!
I hope you got your 20% discount from indigoBlu, which I mentioned in the description!😊😊😊
Using watercolor or watered down acrylic paint might fill the cracks better. I've never seen this technique. Thanks.
Love your card and the technique 💕
Many thanks🥰🥰🥰
So Creative👍🏼!!! Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Takes me back...😂 I always find my layered embossing cracks without need of a freezer, could be that I always use my old 'heat it up' clear, trying to use up the pot🤣
I thought (may have misunderstood) that red rubber could be touched with an iron, angelina fibers etc.
In this warm weather my old wood mounted stamps come away easily with no need to heat.
What trials we had before the misti and stamping platforms, up there with die cutting machines🤣🤣 Lovely cards reminds me I've still got your black ice on the to try list, not enough time in the day. Eleanor x
Sounds lune toe going to be busy!
Quite interesting..thanks
You're welcome
I generally cheat and use the cracking solution. But I was intrigued from beginning to end and pleased to see your technique work so well. x
Thanks so much🥰🥰🥰
How ingenious. TY
❤️♥️❤️
Love it
Thanks so much 🥰🥰🥰
Love this one Christine…I wish my ideas would come as well as yours does..I am a little bit in a slump and frustrated so will watch some of your videos to get me going again..thank you my friend for the delightful card …😊❤️
Hopefully you’ll see something you fancy having a go at!🥰🥰🥰
Gosh, I haven't done this technique in forever and a day either! I love how yours is looking Chrissie, and I'm sure your finished card will be lovely as always. Hugs, Brenda
Oh thank you!🥰
Lovely! Look forward to your inspiration!
That's kind, thanks so much🥰🥰🥰
This is a very interesting technique. I’ve never heard of it before and I’ll have to try it! Thanks for being a constant source of inspiration!
Thanks so much I’m sure you’ll have fun 🥰
I love it. Very happy that you were able to get the video to upload.
Took forever! 😅
Another beauty! Love learning all these techniques ❣️🇺🇸
Thanks so much 😊
Looks beautiful Christine ❤
Thank you! 🤗
I had forgotten about this!! Thanks for sharing!! Now I will have to get it a go!!
You should!😊😊😊
Reminds me of a tile you used to get around a fireplace well done 👏
I know what you mean! 🥰🥰🥰
Thats a fun technique ❤. I love the thick embossing powder, I also have it, in my draw, so Thank you for bringing it back up 👍. The card is beautiful 😍
You are so welcome!
Love it - very clever. Can’t wait to have a go. I’m learning so much from you ❤
So glad!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for pulling this technique int the light. I enjoyed it greatly. And to se an actual use of the ripping rulers that made sense was also good (I’ve always thought they were a waste but seems I have to put them on my list).
You are so welcome!Thank you 🥰
Gilding waxes will work well to fill into the cracks
They would fill in the surface of the panel too if you weren’t careful! 😉
If you sprayed water on the ink, would it not go into the cracks a bit easier? I have nerver seen this technique before, Will certainly try it out. Thanks for sharing another great way to make interesting cards. 👍🏻🌷
Thanks so much 🥰🤣🥰
Wonderful technique , I will have to try it. Thanks Christine.
Have fun!🥰🥰🥰
What a fun technique!!! It is so easy but elegant!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Lovely to see this technique revisited with such flair! Although I had an anxious moment when you wielded the black soot! Should have known all would be fine! TFS
I wouldn't have wanted to use black Stazon though🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks Helen ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Hello christine .
I have alot of distress reinkers that I'm going to try because it would seepinthe cracks (hopefully)
Have a go! 😃😃😃
Perhaps the freezer dampened the card somewhat. Still bottom line it still looked good in the end. I was saying use black soot, you eventually heard me.
🥰🥰🥰
😇💖🙏🙌
🥰❤️😃
Antiquified ... is that a technical term? 🤣 PS This is a really neat effect. Question - can one get too much embossing powder on the card?
Great word isn't it!🤣🤣🤣 Yes you can get too much powder on your projects, if you have too much, when heated it all runs off the edge and sticks to whatever the card is sitting on. If you want to emboss into it, you push it all of the edge. Which reminds me of another old technique I might revive! 😊😊😊
I have yet to try this cool technique. How long do I need to freeze it for Ms. Chrissie to get the cracked effects?
Thanks again for sharing!!!
Just until it's really cold, sometimes it will crack without going in the freezer. Have a play!😊
I'd love to get a card like that but most of my friends would be telling me their card got destroyed in the mail. Hahaha
They just don't get grunge
🤣🤣🤣
I hope you didn't fiddle with the video the entire day! Glad to see it, however.
I did! Removed loads of photos trying to free up space, finally managed it!
