It looks like you use the same technique I do, only you do more. I, like you, use thumbnail pressing shaft against index finger. After that, I go to next shaft. You actually remove the stuff; I don't.
@@sapphirekennedy6833 they're not from Mexico lol. He was hatched in the United States and I rescued him when he was very sick and nursed him to good health and spent thousands in vet expenses to save his life
They have a thin sheath when they come out that needs to be removed and are really itchy the bird can usually get it themselves but in harder to reach places such as there head or tail you can help it works as bonding as well since parrots groom each other all the time
they need a bit of help with the ones on their head, otherwise they would need to take em out by constantly scratching their head with their nail with cates for ever. Hence why we help em out! (in the wild they have a mate that will help the with that)
