Man, high school memories come flooding back... What a time it was to be alive! Miss going to my friends house and everybody spending the evening playing DDR and hanging out. I’d give anything to live those best moments again. Music was fun back then, hard to find songs like this now.

I was listening to 90s dance music and had maybe a half a second of this pop into my head after a couple decades of not having heard it, then it drove me crazy and I had to deep dive into my memory to find it. It took me like 30 minutes of really probing that ancient long term memory, unable to sleep in bed only catching faint memories of the song until I found the chorus in my head and it clicked. I'm so excited.

I remember the original version of this song being played in 2019 at Action City in Macau where my choir and I were participating in a competition. Part of our itinerary was to stop by at Action City, and there was a large indoor playground that played this song as we all played in it. It was great! Ahh, the memories...

EcchiSamurai Agreed, though it's a shame that most people will only remember Barbie Girl and it wasn't their best song. I thought this was Aqua originally due to the more dance-orientated beat that's closer to their first album.

Barbie Young also made 2 more mixes of this.
Barbie Young also sings in this remix, although most people mistake her voice for Lene from Aqua. Barbie Young and Lene tend to have very similar voices.
