I think the Junimo chest may show its highest potential in multiplayer???
Imagine having a Junimo chest with you in ginger island, and your partner just sends a bunch of seeds, fertilizers, etc.
Yesss. My friend and I have a storage system where we have a junimo chest, a workbench, and 5 chests available to the player without moving. If one of us is there, the other player can chuck stuff in it to clean their inventory, and the player at the farm takes the stuff out and easily quick stacks it to the organized chests. The most annoying thing though, is that you can't place junimo chests in the mines, so you cant use this to clean your inventory where it would arguably be the most useful. I hope ConcernedApe lets you do that eventually. Also, if you forgot something like a gift for a villager, you can ask your friend on the farm to put it in the junimo chest and then you have it.
Junimo chest is great for my adhd brain. I always forget stuff or chuck stuff in chests on ginger island that I meant to take home with me and then forget I put them there etc. So I keep things like that in a junimo chest instead and it helps a loooot. I’m not usually storing that much stuff when I use those chests. It’s just stuff I regularly forget and need in both places.

The hopper would be a beast of an item if there was also an auto collector.

I wish they added something like a "totem stand" that lets you stack machines and chests
This is why I can't play anymore without the automation mod, which essentially turns a chest next to a machine into that very thing. I guess it's kind of cheaty, but I don't think the strength of SDV is repetitively clicking 100 machines every few days.

5:24 key to the town. Forgot something very important. With the key you can enter Willie's shop and go to ginger island at any time instead of between 9am-5pm

@@Stirdix yes, but it's main appeal is open the door after 5pm. Things like the Night Market open up after 5 so if you take the boat back to Willy's shop to do them then you can't go back to the island
You can buy from Marnie on Tuesdays if you get there early enough before she heads out for arobics. Although, this is only anecdotal and I got it to happen once. Haven't needed to try again yet
I got the town key 1st, horse flute 2nd, then stick list. Those are the best

1 in front of the skull cavern
1 on your farm
1 on ginger island
Dump your tools into the junimo box when going into the skull cavern, that way you regardless of where you go the next day your tools are available for you.
It's also useful for migrating large quantities of fertilizer or other common crafting items like wood or stone from your farm to ginger island without having to pack mule your inventory

I bought for, 3 for places you just mention and one for the mine
one of my favourite things to do with the deconstructer is hardwood. I spent about 10,000g on the casino currency (i can’t remember what it’s called for the life of me lmao) and i spent about 40 minutes irl time just doing the slot machines. Eventually I managed to get the 3 stardrops, so I had a LOT of the casino coins to spend. I bought about 2 stacks of hardwood fences. I put the fences in hoppers to deconstruct the fences to get hardwood. Now I have more than enough hardwood to last me years!
I wish the junimo chests were bigger, but they are handy in keeping stuff I need on Ginger Island, *and* the farm. My cinder shards go in them.
I wish I could pick up Junimo chests that aren't empty, then I could use it as a backpack 😁

You can get Galaxy Souls as a rare drop from enemies in the hard mine when you have it unlocked. That’s how I got two so far.

the blue bird on the north of ginger island sells it in the 28th of any season
Get pierre's stocklist. It's priceless if you try to complete all achievements and cooking recipes and get statue of true perfection, because there is nothing worse that realise in summer that you miss some spring crop (trust me). Town's key is supercool when you try to befriend all villagers. But I would buy horse flute second, and key is thrird for me.
There's also a merchant in Night Market that sells seeds. Spring seeds on 1st day, Summer on 2nd, Fall seeds on 3rd.
Junimo chests can’t be picked up if there’s anything inside.
I plan to use mine as a tool chest and place them all around (farm, island farm, greenhouse, mines, skull cavern, volcano, top of volcano, beach, lake, river) so I can store what I don’t need without worrying about forgetting it anywhere.
Things worth storing:
*sword-kept on person
*copper pan-worn on head or left at island dig spot where it would get the most use
*scythe-only with scythe harvesting mod
*food-should have a stock left on location
buff foods
buff drinks
pickax/slingshot/bombs
axe
*hoe-kept on person
watering can
fishing rod
*return scepter-kept on person, replaced with totem in dungeons
*horse flute-kept on person
The enricher could be used only when fertilizing crops. Mark your sprinkler spots then place down the enricher sprinkler over and over again until you’re ready to just leave it in the regular spot with the pressure nozzle for the next morning. Make use of the sprinklers during the day since they only work overnight otherwise.
Galaxy souls can be dropped rarely by monsters in the dangerous mines and skull caverns and sold by the island trader on the last day of the month for 10 radioactive ore after defeating 50 dangerous monsters.
Not directly related, but the quality bobber boosts the fish quality by 1, so you can catch iridium legendary fish even without a perfect catch.

You can also tap the mushroom trees to get any mushroom. This can be helpful for getting rare mushrooms if you pick fruit bat cave (Why tho)
And also here is a tip for making friends. Put a chest of their favorite items near their house. I'll list some easy favorites for npcs I struggled with Leah likes salad Sam loves pizza and harvey likes coffee. You can buy them all from tha saloon.

Me who chose the fruit bat cave and immediately regretted it after 3 seasons:
Fruit bat gang!!!! I used to love the mushroom cave but this time I picked the fruit bat and it’s great ngl. Got so much done my first year and I didn’t have to buy those expensive trees early on either. Then you can just put a bunch of floors down and turn it into a chill spot.
Fruit bat cave helps with friendship via jam, it scales alot better with both iridium lvl forage perk or artisan perk, and ginger Island has it's own mushroom cave.
Bats are better cause you don’t have to check them every day. Mushrooms aren’t worth the annoyance really fast.
Junimo chests would probably be more useful if you could color code them like regular chests and it would only share the same inventory with chests of the same color
Here's what I've found using the deconstructor that makes it super useful for collecting raw resources:
- Trading jade for staircases gives you 99 stone.
- Buying Grass Starters from Pierre gives you 10 Fiber.
- A Cork Bobber from Willy will give you 5 Hardwood.
- The Hardwood can be broken down using a Wood Chipper for 5-10 Wood per piece.
- If you need Coal then you can take the Wood and put it in a Charcoal Kiln, so a Cork Bobber leads to a long chain of different materials.
- A Trap Bobber from Willy will give you 1 Copper Bar.
- A Spinner from Willy will give you 2 Iron Bars.
- A Treasure Hunter from Willy will give you 2 Gold Bars.
- The best way to turn Casino Coins into money is to trade them for Warp Totems and then break them down into Honey (5 Casino Coins = 1g).
- Another way to get Hardwood is to trade Casino Coins for Hardwood Fences, it's not as efficient as the Cork Bobbers but saves you spending loads of money at Willy's.
- Trading 3 Omni Geodes for a desert warp totem can get you 4 Iridium Ore.
- Trading 10 Qi Gems for a Hopper will give you one Radioactive Bar, which is probably the best way to get them since Radioactive Ore is so rare.
I think that's everything it's useful for, but if there's anything else you've found then please do let me know!
Putting Wood Chipper on Secret Wood and using the daily hardwood is already enough source of wood for me. But other than that, thanks for the tips!
That Warp Totem to Iridium Ore is actually insane with how common Omni Geodes are

Turn Desert totems into iridium ores then barter it for Mega bombs 👌
The key to the town is great for going to Clint's! When he's closed, he stands at the counter for at least 1 in game hour then moves to his anvil. You can still go to the counter and have him break open golden coconuts, treasure troves and geodes.
I usually prioritise the Aquatic Sanctuary over everything else simply because I want all 5 Legendary Fish in one tank, and their relatives in the other

I treat my hoppers as chests for storing stuff I need to eventually process, so I don't regret them. The deconstructor is my favorite, for sure.

I have 5 junimo chests : 1 on regular mine, 1 on crystal mine, 1 in my house on ginger island, 1 on my farm and 1 in the volcano. I keep my stairs, food, my prismatic shard and the lava shards

I've been watching your content for some time and I wanted to say that I love your accent it is really cute :)
I started watching your videos cuz i was a noob, i still watch it cuz im a noob, but also your voice is extremely soothing
I like to go: horse flute, junimo chest, key to the town, stocklist, galaxy souls, and a few pressure nozzles for my greenhouse. Then I like to gradually buy one of every non-decoration item to have on hand just in case. After that, hoppers for my furnaces (they are terribly convenient for that purpose) and then one of each decoration item. Also, if I have some weird sprinkler issues on my farm (like my forest farm) I’ll buy some pressure nozzles to smooth out any odd arrangements.
I love the "key of the town" because I like doing as much as I can on my farm and town before going to ginger island and sleeping there. Many times I've taken too much time doing chores so that I couldn't get to Willy's in time and had to postpone my trip to the island for the day after >:0 but after buying the key I can go whenever I want and it's amazing :D

I got the town key first. I don't use teleports to ginger island (lack of dragons tooth) so this was very nice to be able to go to ginger island even after willy shop would have been closed.
My time at portia and sand rock has Junimos chests, but they are the size of regular chests, you can access all your chests through there, and for crafting machines, you can pull directly from chests
I use the Junimo chests as a war chest. A big stack of all 3 bombs, three stacks of battle foods and a stack of espresso. I place them at dungeon entrances. That way I only need to keep one chest at the farm all stocked up. Hoppers are cheap, so I just deconstruct them for the radioactive bar, but I also like them for furnaces.

Oh, also-I love the Qi seasoning for while I’m catching tricky fish. Qi ginger ale, Qi seafoam pudding, and a trap bobber made me able to catch all the legend fish with a gold quality!
And the golden egg is available for 100,000g at marnie’s, which I prefer because by the time I’ve hit perfection that’s cheaper than using Qi gems
By the way don't waste your ginger ale on fishing. I used to think luck made fish easier too, but turns out the only role luck plays in fishing is the chance of getting a treasure chest to appear.
I also used the bait for Legend at summer. I realised I was missing the only fish to finish my fisherman completionist so I just got this bait and some buffs and got the fish :-) And now I know about the golden egg I NEED to finish saving for my gold clock to complete the quest and get it!
Im not a huge fan of buying galaxy souls personally since its so expensive and technically farmable as a mob drop. But overall, great guide!

I just reached the Qi shop. I'm a creep and bought key to the city first! Finally I can enter any person's house at night or before they get up, slip into their bed, and maybe gift them to get my wife mad.
Next I got the horse flute. Both items so far I felt were pretty self-indulgent. No longer do I have to remember where I left my horse, the poor thing would probably throw up from the number of transportation it goes through in a day!
Next I got the stock list because I always wanted to buy seeds out of season. But to be honest it just junks up the shop and I have a lot less cause to use it than I might have in the past.
Next I got some chests, actually 4. The space is very small once I saw how limited it was I kept it for specialist use. I've been playing pretty casually and free but with my eyes on buying the gold clock my operation is getting a bit industrial so I'm using the chests to link my (currently 2) cellars with my greenhouse and island farm to keep everything together for the big wine operation. After all, I was just extending this out and intended to split base wine to the second cellar after a certain number built up, prepared to refill my casks, but now I don't have to split anything!
Finally (so far) I've bought up all th recipes as I'm working toward perfection perhaps, although I didn't receive the tea sapling recipe so I'm really hoping that I can fix that eventually and get everything made. I think I managed to cancel out of the letter or cut scene back when I returned to the game in the onslaught of updated stuff.
Actually I got 3 galaxy souls somwhere in the middle too and upgraded my sword. I will surely get everything left but I am happy with my current sprinkler setup and don't really use fertiliser yet, so they are not essentials to me. The hopper that you don't recommend, I haven't been keen on either as they just don't sound versatile enough to string together to make something useful.
I use hoppers for my furnaces to mass-produce bars without an inordinate number of furnaces. I can pick up bars every time I walk past rather than having to have ore on me every time.
It's surprisingly convenient. I do the same thing with kegs and coffee beans for the Qi's Cuisine challenge!
Yeah! I like that startdew valley has so many ways to play it. I like breaking the game and trying to find ways to exploit mechanics. Not everyone likes that, some prefer casual play, some love ultra optimized, but stardew valley let's you pick and choose how to play ^^
The hopper is absolutely pointless without the ability to connect machines to chests. Coz if you are collecting the items manually anyway, what's the point of automatic feeding. However if it was possible to connect the machine to a chest and let them accumulate, you got yourself theost useful endgame item
Yeah I wish it was more like the hopper in Minecraft. Sadly no auto mod on switch so no automation for me. The hoppers only save like 2 seconds.
It's useful for the same reason the crab pot perk can be useful... it annoys me to have to find and put things into machines, so that way I can just stick all the raw items in one place and not need to get frustrated

I'm not convinced about the pressure nozzles to be honest. I feel like it ends up saving you a couple tiles only, whereas the enricher saves you the entire walk around your farm applying fertilizer prior to the entire walk around your farm planting the seeds. I mean yeah, the enricher provides no increase in your income technically, it only saves you time. But I'd rather have that excellent comfort than an incredibly small monetary gain.
Then again, it might just be my preference.

It also depends on how you use it. I fill mine with Deluxe Speed-Gro and use 1504 (My field is 752 tiles overall.) of it per year from the Oasis, and thanks to it, I get a sixth harvest of strawberries, and a third harvest of starfruit per year. At the bare minimum that's a profit of 52 gold per strawberry in spring before processing or quality, and a massive 2,670 profit per starfruit wine in the summer. It doesn't affect cranberries so I don't bother. But if I did pumpkins, third harvest of those as well.
I use 3 junimo chests. Mines, skull cavern, volcano mines. I keep food and explosives in them.

I just really wanna upgrade my upgraded galaxy hammer! Maybe also the nozzles and finally the junimo chests :) only just unlocked qi today omg it took forever 😅 I only started the update 2 weeks ago.... I'm never gonna go 100% but maybe with mods. The challenges are tough . . .

The developer Concerned Ape pronounces it like "kwee". But he said he wishes he never said it out loud so people would feel comfortable pronouncing it whatever way they want.

Just to be sure, to get secret note 10 is that just the same way as the other secret notes or is it on level 25 of skull cavern cus I’ve seen some discussions online
It's the same way as any other secret note, only after completing the level 25 quest.
so beating stardew is completing center, 100% is owning a golden chicken.
I used to make triple expresso and spicy eel with Qi seasoning. +4 speed boost on horse is insane. But CA patched it.
I honestly prefer the enricher over the pressure nozzle. In the late game where you probably are when you reach Mr Qi's walnut room, Iridium sprinklers are basically free as shit. Since sprinklers automatically do your job for you, I feel the extra watering space doesn't matter since you practically have tons of them.
And I like to remind myself that Time is a greater resource when you reach late game and having to manually fertilize crops at every start of season or when I wanna regrow single use crops is tiring and you risk running out of time if you have a huge ass farm. Enrichers seem to fix this problem for me easily.
dont buy the galaxy soul its not worth the money just kill slimes in the skull cavern quest for galaxy souls no qi gems required
thats great and all but sometimes they just dont spawn, so purchasing some galaxy souls is more consistent. 120 qi gems isnt really that expensive anyways if you get the qi's crop quest early.
You can buy them at the end of the month from the island trader.
yeah but that costs radioactive bars, and you arent guaranteed to be able to get a decent supply of them until you get the dangerous mines unlocked, which is up to chance as well.
You're not guaranteed to get a challenge that you're prepared to complete, but once the dangerous mines are unlocked then you can start gathering radioactive ore overtime, since it only has like 2 other uses.
Better to have the option and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Deconstructer is unreasonably op. Omni geodes traded to Desert Warp totems gets 4 iridium ore per totem, which stretches the value of a Skull cavern run to huge levels. Jade traded for staricases make for infinite stone. Treasure hunter, spinner, cherry bombs bought from Willy and Dwarf make for infinite bars of metals. Cork bobbers make for 5 hardwood per piece, which can be broke down into wood and even further into coal with the kiln. Grass starters from Pierre can become fiber (if the fiber seeds weren't already overkill)
No more basic resource problems, ever. Runs into the dangerous mine for radioactive ore is really all you need.
I'd also disagree with the horse flute. By the point you could obtain it, it's not hard to believe that you'd have access to at least some of the warp obelisks, a supply of farm warp totems/the warp staff, and naturally the minecart. The only real benefit is being able to get the horse to ginger island, which has it's own warp points in the form of the parrot express. Also, Triple shot expresso. A few pots with deluxe retaining soil, 2-3 kegs, and a coffee maker can keep you supplied with a speed boost all day that can match the horse while also being far more available earlier than even having a horse at all. Also can be in effect in both the mines and not block you from 1 space wide entrances.
Speed buff affects horse tho, and with speed buff horse is fastboi

it is indeed much more useful, but not as much as it could be because you can't place it in the mines and a lot of other places.

Everyone, besides the kids, like coffee. I use it as a way to not need to memorise what people like.
But if you especially want to be friends with Sebastian, I gave him frozen tears after mining and he loves them.

About the infinity weapon: I got that first from qi gems, but I got 3 of those later in the dangerous mines so it was kinda wasted

How come there is not a door behind willy in Mobile

Ginger island. There’s a purple door on the west of the island with a golden walnut on it. You need to have collected 100 golden walnuts total then you can access it
