Hi there, thank you for posting your open baffles speaker with Lii Audio speakers. The audio clips allow me to get a sense on how these speakers sounds like. I'm inspired to build a set for myself too. Hence I reached out to Lii Audio in TaoBao to ask them if I'm using the Fast-8 + a W-12 woofer on a open baffles setup like yours, if the Reisong A-50 tube amplifier (8w per channel) could drive these speakers. They said no😢. I can see in the video you are also using tube amplifier. May I asked, if you are powering these Lii Audio speakers through your tube amplifier? If so how many watts per channel does your tube amplifier you are using for these speakers? My normal listening volume is between 70db to 78db max. Thanks in advance for your answer.😊😊
I started out with a small 10W tube amp and was very content with the sound: czcams.com/video/eKSWjSoMR4o/video.htmlsi=JAUASrLvWQrij3qa I now use a 25W per channel tube amp., the one in this clip, this to me added significantly in better sound experience. Got my drivers from lii-audio.com. They are high sensitive so very suitable for tubes.
@@DustinDonohue this tweeter tends to overtweet. (is that a word?) Anyway the late Leon Huygens used a pingpongball to disperse the highs for his open baffle. The dome works better in my setting.
Sounding beautiful! Congrats!
красиво.

🙄🤔best way to the real end👍
Nice subway adventure! I think you mean the F15, not w15 or? Have fun 😊
Nope, I did mean W15, set up behind both F15's which are still active, one W15 is now retired.
@@PietjePuk181 nope, the W15 is not the same as the W15, it a different beast alltogether
What is that i'm spotting on top of baffles?Did you put an upfiring tweeter with a cone to disperse sound?
Yep.
@@PietjePuk181 It's not omnidirectional?

no body or weight pinched and nasal is it the recording?
Seems these are only good for vocal and jazz, no real bass
