Summary:
Keira Knightley - She was a dyslexia patient, who had trouble reading. She could not even go through one page in a book. But as she was drawn to acting, her mother took advantage of it and told Keira that she would only be allowed to act if she studied everyday. She studied even during holidays and kept her grades up.
Michael Phelps - He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in fifth grade. He realized that medicine had its side-effects. So, he stopped taking it and used swimming as a means to help him focus.
Whoopi Goldberg - She was called "dumb" in school by her teachers and fellow classmates. Her dyslexia made it hard for her to excel in studies and the constant bullying did not help either. A few decades later, she is one of the few celebrities to win a Tony Award, an Oscar, a Grammy, and an Emmy.
Keanu Reeves - He had dyslexia and found it hard to learn throughout his school. Additionally, the fact that his parents separated and his family moved around a lot before settling down in Toronto, didn't help his case. Although his habit of pretending helped him in his acting career.
Emma Watson - She was diagnosed with ADHD as a child. Hence, she found it hard to concentrate in class. But, when you are gutsy even mountains will bow to you. Emma went on to star in movies such as Noah, Little Women, and the Harry Potter series.
What's more? She completed her degree in English from Brown University and is now a United Nations Ambassador.
Daniel Radcliffe - He had a mild case of Dyspraxia. It is a neurological disorder that affects the development of motor skills. This means he has trouble doing simple things such as tying shoelaces.

Yup it's very helful
The singer Shakira has ADHD and dance was a way for her to channel her extra energy (hyperactivity). She was also prescribed medication
@@melissasavard980 how do we know that Emma waston really had adhd if she never spoke about
@@lukegonzalez3431 Because they had to give her her medication Ritalin on the HP set and it was leaked.
Hi, from adhd perspective it's far too slow and I didn't get past 2 mins
ADHD isn't just about focus. It also includes hyperactivity/impulsivity in 70% of patients. Phelps and Emma Watson both have the type that includes hyperactive/impulsive symptoms. Emma was also prescribed Ritalin as a child and still takes it as an adult.
And much more like, problems eating, much easier to get insecure, anxiety
How do u know if she really has adhd I she never spoke about it. I am just saying just a question
@@lukegonzalez3431 it did say in the video
And executive dysfunction
there was times where emma watson would go into laughing fits on set and made it difficult to stop and concentrate
I too had been diagnosed with ADHD when I was in 3rd grade.. I had a really hard time to learn academics no matter how hard I tried. As I did lack in those I did not lack in any of the creative side. I am good in writing, painting, singing and even dancing. It was just recently when I decided to go back to college and pursue a degree in Arts majoring in Communication Arts. I felt like it was revealed to me long time ago that communicating was my gift but I simply ignored it and took different paths. I felt discouraged many times because of how I think ADHD affect me. However, I now realized I can actually train myself to work in stressful situations without giving up.
Way to go sometimes i wanna just give up and leave somewhere I feel more comfortable and less stress on myself because I tell you the truth it’s hard.

Yep I agree ! It's really unknown from people, we should all raise awareness
these guys are proof that u can be whatever u want to be in the future. u just have to work hard
Just when I thought I was done listing similarities between myself and Emma Watson, we both have ADHD too :')
I also have ADHD too it’s not easy sometimes and unfortunately other people will never understand what it’s like to have it
Thanks for sharing. And a big thank you to all the famous people that shared their school struggles. Stories help others. We are a Creative Audio Visual Thinking family this world calls Dyslexic (Disabled). I would like parents and children to know that on the NHS Healthcare website it states that DYSLEXICS ARE CREATIVE PROBLEMS SOLVERS. If I - a Dyslexic Mum - can turn our creative (Dyslexic) daughter into a BOOKWORM by making reading fun, not stressful. Then anyone can do it. I did this when State Education failed to teach our daughter the basics: Reading, Writing and Spelling! Never let a child believe they are stupid or worthless. Being different is a GIFT! Use it well!
As a dyspraxic myself I know exactly what it's like
I struggled in school with math and studying in general. I was in special ed until I was in 12th grade. It really sucked.
Me having a learning disability and immediatly hitting the thumbs down when he says ‘how will they ever learn’ 😭
Yeah like girl💀

This video is very inspirational. Way to go to all those celebrities!!!👍
It’s called learning difficulties not disabilities.
A learning disability is something completely different
Thank you for the inspiration! It was very helpful!
YES NO I HAVE DYSPRAXIA ITS ALWAYS EMBARRASSED ME,I’M SO HAPPY
The rest of my high school year when I was growing up I do have a learned disability and I get made fun of and get bullied because of how I talk or my speech and that's why I do not talk online when I play my video game
By the way Keira Knightley also has ADHD in addition to dyslexia. Source : tv.bt.com/tv/tv-news/10-things-you-probably-dont-know-about-keira-knightley-11364183063364

I love you Keanu Reeves a beautiful soul🔥♥️an example of a true alchemist! Bless us all!
Keira fucking Knightley!!!
The most beautiful woman of all time.
Dyslexia is a learning difficulty not learning disability their slightly different.😊
Dyslexia is a learning disability, and the most common one at that. It is diagnosed as "Specific learning disorder in reading". The terms "learning disability" and "learning disorder" are used interchangeably. "Learning difference" is just a term that is used when speaking to children to not make them feel discouraged by being labeled as "disordered" or "disabled".
@@botflyguy7814 I'm dyslexic its classed a learning difficulty it's only a disability under the disabilities act to protect dyslexic workers from being fired
My grandson has just been diagnosed with dyslexia and I was looking for videos for him to watch..I won't be showing him one that tells him he has a disability ..
Research in the late 1990's suggested that Dyslexia and Dyspraxia are both caused by the part of the brain that control balance and co-ordination is underdeveloped. In short if you have 1 then you have both ( like me )
Dyspraxic gang rise up
I do and I'm not ashame of it I had it since birth
Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson don't just have Dyspraxia or ADHD but both they come hand in hand
The 3rd on she played in star trek
I had my dad scream at me because of
my learning disability, and I have been called stupid and loser. But I am an author now. Just not a best seller yet.
ADHD is NOT a disability!
@@anastasiapopov7250 Severe? What the hell makes u think that?
@@anastasiapopov7250 Sure you do
Maybe not for you.
It’s a mental illness, it’s common to have hallucinations and hear voices with adhd, That’s what I get.
@@yippies3726 Stop making shit up, I have ADHD and I can tell you that I don't have hallucinations and hear voices, its a behavioral disorder not a mental Illness
I always did good in school
But I did have a whole lot of trouble focusing
And have all the symptoms of ADHD
Even though I was never diagnosed
Someone asked me if I had adhd once
And I have THE crappiest memory ever
LIKE
I CAN REMEMBER THE WHOLE BLOODY BILL OF RIGHTS
YET
I CANT REMEMBER WHAT MY MOM ASKED ME A SECOND AGO
I think it’s because I only remember what interests me
I love history and things like that so
But I am very fidgety
I always need to be moving
😂
I am also horrible at math
It just doesn’t make sense to me
But I love history and language arts
Also my brain moves fast
And I learn quick
And I have to learn in a certain way
Or else I won’t learn the material
I don’t learn by reading
I learn through song 😂
Or by watching a video
😐😑
i also seem to be a little like you about the sundroms but my memory is normal tho
I have adhd and we can’t just focus harder it’s not people with adhd fault that you can’t focus that hard and well also it isn’t all about focusing
ok
Tom holland had a learning disability called dyslexia so do I.
i still have not belive in this video about celebrity .There are proof about their interview about diagnosic although this clip help motivate for learning disability ,me and ADHD people .
THERE NOT PROBLEMS!!
"you concentrate harder" uhhhh not really...
dude it's literally so much more than concentration.. i feel like this video is generalizing neuro differences and disabilities
There have been many many many times in my life where I have desperately tried to concentrate and will myself to pay attention in class and it just doesn't work lol. I start focusing on how hard I'm trying to focus.
Wow I am early 😁
No, on time.

Hi
Hi pallavi
@@mikejackson8412 Hi!!
Dyscalculia not on the list
Dyslexia isn’t a disability
It’s a learning disability
Malak people with dyslexia aren’t disabled
Bb Cc bruh I know I have dyscalculia (math dyslexia) and both are LEARNING disabilities, it’s something in the brain you can’t do anything about it, it’s not like you are not a ‘normal’ person
It’s really not.
what about all the people who didn't succeed? the research i have done say most people in prisons have some form of learning disability
Um where trying to stay positive hear bud :/ if u want to judge someone for having a disability piss off and keep it to yourself :)
I don't like this man accent and voice!! Where is the cute girl with the angelic/ cheerful voice?
Im early too
Radcliffe doesn’t really fit the list. I could be wrong but he seems to have more of a physical disability. All of the others had problems with learning information for various reasons. I’m not trying to say he hasn’t overcome a lot.
Dyspraxia is Neurological and falls under the learning disability umbrella. I don't have dyspraxia but I do have other learning disorders and it also affects my ability to tie my shoes.
Early 🤠
No. Just on time.
The Spelling Police that was early.
@@0006arman No, early means you would have been on the video before it was ready to watch.
The Spelling Police wth that doesn’t even make sense
