Jan 24, 2024: It’s actually a shame how so many folks are taking this old video so seriously lol. I love both Sonamy and Sonally (Boom Sonamy is my OTP.) but you when you folks just comment nonsense here on what ship is wrong or not, you’re contributing absolutely nothing. This was just a video explaining a fandom’s hate towards a character I personally find interesting. Sally has been laid to rest since 2017, move on from the hate.
@dblove Great video, btw. And I'm interested in seeing a future videos about toxicity in the Sonamy, the Sally hate group, and possibly the Zutara fanbase. It's unfortunate that Sally gets so much flack because she had a relationship with Sonic. Along with [plausible] misogynistic and shallow reasons. She's was cool in SATam, but (in terms for consistent characterization) kinda messy in the Archie Comics.
I'm a big Sally and Sonally fan too. It's just sad that half the fandom doesn't see the real Sally. I wish she wasn't so hated. She's an awesome character.

It killed me learning that due to legal problems that were happening with the Sonic comics, Sega had to make some changes that ended the love relationship with Sally and Sonic, along with Sonic's other allies because of this, the characters can only be friends and can no longer have love relationships with their friends.
It’s weird too because she isn’t even a character from the comics, she’s from SATAM. It’s just another poor excuse to not bring back characters from other media sort of like how they refuse to incorporate any of the other classic Sonic characters into the "modern" games and universe. (With the exception of Mecha Sonic in IDW, but he’s still not brought back for anything else outside of the classic series)
I only know Sally from the cartoon, and I miss this character so much. I wish she could appear in the next Sonic movie, with Kath Soucie reprising the role. Soucie really gave the Sally character lots of class.

About Sally's design (that I like too), never forget that Sally is actually wearing more clothes than Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Silver and Shadow. So there is clearly a gender double standard, there. Also, removing her cheek tuff was a mistake.
Honestly, a lot of the shit I see people on the internet accuse Sally for, I often see Amy guilty of in spades. Even in the Sonic Adventure games (where she was at her most heroic) she can be very manipulative and Toxic.
Sonic X was realy popular and many sonic fans come from a show where there were many sonamy moments So when they first read the comics they saw sally and hated her and started started the shiping war And even to this day i can still find dumb coments in sonic x sonamy scenes saying dumb things like “All the dislikes are from the sh*t colored garbage sally acorn”
Sonamy fans are only afraid of Sally just because of the fact that she so happens to be the official love interest for Sonic and not Amy, even though Sally is a better character than they’d ever realize, Sonic never had romantic feelings towards Amy, and that Amy and Sally are still friends. Yeah yeah sure Sally being Sonic’s gf is cute and all, but I care more about overall dynamics between *all* of the characters and how the characters themselves are written. Sally is a well written character most of the time, (Unless it’s under something already bad like the infamous slap or Ken Penders) and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind in that. And I’m really sad Sally wasn’t brought back for IDW either, I think both her and Amy would’ve had a more interesting dynamic there instead of Amy just straight up ripping off traits from Sally. She could’ve been a mentor for Amy, teaching her how she’s too obsessive on her feelings confusing respect with love, and to help make her better to stand up for herself. Sally and some other comic, show, and classic characters deserved more justice instead of being Thanos snapped from existence. Archie was among one of my favorites because it actually respected the source materials and came up with creative ways to fill in new ones when it was done right. Seeing other characters being translated into it like Mighty, Ray, and Fang was a blast. You want another example of a fictional couple done right that isn’t just relying on them only being love interests? How about Gumball and Penny? A lot of people expected the latter to turn out as a stereotypically boring idea of turning her into a deer, but this ended up being far from the case. Her being different from our initial expectations helped flesh her out as her own character more with her own flaws and traits. Gumball confessing his love for her by then was satisfying because despite having differences they would do anything to help each other. *That* is what makes them such good characters and an overall perfectly natural and adorable couple. And they aren’t just fan service either, they actually do stuff that’s relevant. They have *depth.* The same overall idea pretty much applies the same way to Sonic and Sally as well, except it was done much earlier and was not picked up on as much because it was being established for comics. I should also mention that Sally is not an Archie character, she is from SATAM. It’s just another poor excuse to not bring back other show, comic, and classic characters like they always did, Archie was just one of those few things to break the mold. That’s why Archie was among one of my favorites when done right because they actually knew how to handle their store and characters regardless of source material. It took risks, some were very poor, (The slap and Ken Penders) while others became some of the best stuff written for Sonic.

Yeah, apparently he was a Sonamy fan and wanted to deliberately sabotage Sally and the Sonally pairing. I have made a vow that if I ever meet the guy, I am recreating the slap scene... with him on the receiving end.

when i first found out about sally and sonic's in love with her and she feels the same i didn't like her at first bc amy is my favorite character and i think amy liking sonic was cute, but i didn't know anything about her bc i never read the comics i only played the games and seen sonic x and sonic underground so i was curious i want to know more about her and i went on CZcams and after seeing so many people loving and hating sally acorn I'm starting to like her, she seems to be a great character. sorry for this being so long. also i do not ship any of the sonic characters with sonic or others

Tbh, I always thought Sally made a better partner for Sonic than Amy. Sonic and Sally’s relationship just comes off as more mature and in harmony. Out of all of Sonic’s love interests, Sally felt like she truly understood Sonic’s personality the best, where he preferred being independent rather than being tied down to any committed relationship or lesser rank. She trusts he can look out for himself when in action, so she respects his decisions to go out and save others his own way rather than always giving him orders. Sonic, in turn, respects her for that, along with her never treating him (or others) as being lesser than her just because of her leader title. Her mature demeanor probably also helps ease his tension both during battle against Eggman or just in normal. They both understand and respect each other’s differences, which is what builds their relationship as they don’t see each other as lesser or greater than the other, but rather as equals, which is what all healthy relationships should be built on. That’s why I don’t care if their dynamic is romantic or platonic, because either way, it’s the trust and admiration they show towards each other that makes them such as wholesome pairing.
Nah she was always at his neck for next to no reason! whereas she was noticeably more lenient with Geoffrey for seemingly no reason 🤔 (favourtism) making her trash for that exact reason. Simped for Geoffrey to what kind of Princess just allows a guy to kiss her no consent pretty uncooth of a princess if you ask me also that leads into Sonic being a character that should not have to settle for somebody who didn't see them as first option, going for Sally after this type of behavour reflects badly on the character.
Tbh from what I've seen, Sally Acorn is mostly hated because 'she ruins sonamy for me!' type of shit I see going around in the fandom. And to me it's just bullshit. Which is one of the reasons why I dislike Sonamy fans in general.
I grew up with Sally watching the SatAM cartoon and reading the Archie Comics, she’s FAR from a perfect character, but Sally ended up being my favorite character from the franchise. Truth be told, I still have a crush on the character. 😅
In all seriousness though and like everyone else says, she was a really well written character. The best part about her was that even though she was a kickass Freedom Fighter, she didn't always have to be like that to be a strong, independent, female character. Should they have Sally in a game one day (let alone the new show), I really hope that they stay true to the character she had comics and SatAM.

Yeah I agree. I love Amy Rose because her design and the fact that she's pink and she's cute, but I also love Sally because she's adorable and the fact that she's blue... I really love Amy X Shadow (I know Amy is 12 and Shadow is 50, but in my au, Shadow is 16 and Amy is between 14 to 15) Speaking of my sonic au, when I make my channel, I'm planning to make a Sonic Magical Girl series called "Amy and The Sonic Princesses" which is a sonic magical girl series that involves sonic girls becoming magical girls such as Amy, Sally, Cream, Rogue Bat, Etc. And even better about this series, Sonic and Sally are dating instead of Sonic and Amy! Sure Amy will still be fangirling over Sonic just like the original games/cartoons but Amy and Sonic WON'T end up together in the series...

A little late to this, but I honestly prefer sonic being single. I don't ship characters as I used too due to the ship wars in Hetalia. But I always come across Sonadow more than the other two girls.
I think one of the reason she get so much hate from certain shipper come from SallyxSonic is basically the only canon couple Sonic was ever in. the next closest thing toit was Boom Sonic and Amy. And Canon with children, if you go by Light Mobius For comparison sake, if you are familiar (you more than probably are) with the Avatar show, there was similar hate for AangxKatara when the final made canon that ship. Few things will rile up obsessed shipper like canon going against their ship.
You SonAmy fans should see a therapist and understand you don't hold the powers to decide who ships who. Sonic can be with Amy, Honey, Tangle, Surge or even Elise, but canonically Sonic is always be with Sally. Why? Cause Sega approved it, that's why! Sure Sally never gets a game appearance but she's widely known as Sonic's girlfriend. Heck, Amy was MISTAKEN for Sally on the English manual of Sonic CD. That shows Sally was very loved before Amy ever debut.
I love Sally. Probably because i remember her from the old Sonic cartoon and older archie comics from the early 90s. I remember i loved her even more after her Sally Moon comic . I also remember Jaleel White (Steve Urkel from Family Matters voiced Sonic!) Im showing my age yikes. Its a shame that she has such a cute character design and its being wasted over drama like this. Just learnt that WendyAtticus, the fan I mentioned earlier was 20 years old when she created kill Sally Club, which was in 2005. Meaning she’s 37 now. Unfortunately these people are adults.

I've had experience with being bullied by Amy and son Amy fan brats, because I preferred Sally acorn. When I used to be more active on DeviantArt. And the fan base is the reason why I don't like the character or the shipping anymore despite used to being a big fan of it. Heck I've had a really toxic silver fan who adored this couple who called me out in a video just because I had an opinion on her. Not to mention I've had death threats sent to me because of my views. There's a lot of good Amy and son Amy fans out there, But the fan brats really left a bad taste in my mouth every time I see this character in the couple now.

I miss Sally Acorn as well, I just wish we could find a way for Saga to realized that Sally is important to the sonic franchise, and so dose the other characters that makes the sonic universe.
I have a story idea that goes Sonic doesn't want to have to chose between Sally and Amy so he choses both of them. that's just my thoughts (my interpretation. ) It's my way of trying to defuse the War between SonAmy and SonAlly. It's not necceary and I don't think Any charecter deserves the violence Sally has.
Also if you seen sonic fronters any has grown and she is less toxic. I relate to amy because of her compassion and in the newer games she and sonic have a better relation ship

I think that’s sally seems to be forgotten now in the comics it is a weird thing. I hate to bring this up but I don’t know if you heard there’s a new writer. She is very much doing a better job with the characters and she’s giving Silver more tension and that’s a good thing because silver has it that much attention from the video games. Another net sad thing is, I don’t know if you heard this other character they had an a sonic 06 was blaze the cat was another character that said I want to forget I don’t know why, but those to have more more development in the comic stand video games, that is weird it’s just odd. I'm one those people who ship sonic and amy but that just me. I think the main reason people hate sally are these 1. The childish side of sonamy fans and other shiper 2. The story writing of archie series. (It did got batter over time) but these are main reasons fans hate her I guess
I ship Sonamy too! :) my favorite variation being Boom Sonamy. And yes I agree with these reasons. I think it’s more or say on how grown adults get so worked up over fictional writing in the end.

Im gonna be perfectly honest, im a SonAmy fan and i dislike SonAlly. I know these 2 ships butt heads alot, but while i have my own feelings about Sonally, it doesn't mean other people can't enjoy the ship and that applies to SonAmy as well. I think both ships can exist in peace. Whats not ok is bullying and belittling someones opinions that don't align with you're own. In the famous words of cartoon Sonic "thats no good😏"
@animangasis I personally just don't see the need in drawing artwork like....... what was shown. It really isn't that deep. Even if I did care that much about it, I couldn't draw it because drawing is not my skill. At most, I could draw some stick figures😂

But it says that in google that sally was cheating on sonic because sally was also married to someone and then sonic broke up and I found out that Amy cheat on sonic too then sonic came back to Amy 👁👄👁but then sonic said that Amy and him wasn't a couple the first place when he met sally soo it's not Amy fault but it's Sonic's fault or Sally's sally is still good 👍 but I think it's Sonic's fault and Sally's husband is shadow but shadow didn't know that sally was cheating on him with sonic and that's when sonic found out that shadow was Sally's man... But sally knew that shadow was her husband but sonic didn't know that idk who's fault it is but it could be Amy's fault because she cheat on him... Idk at the first place...maybe and also sally cheated on shadow 3 times..
Oh yeah the whole Shadow husband thing I believe was an AU thing. Archie does a bunch of AUs and shit. The whole love triangle for me was pretty unnecessary. So I understand why some people dislike her character, but I am more or so referring to her character in general rather then just the relationships.

Well, like one of the creators words should matter, they have their opinions, doesn't mean everybody else should agree with them. "When Amy is so fucking abusive" which hasn't been the case since 2010 and is an outdated nitpick at this point It's pretty bold move to claim Sonamy is one of the worst ships ever made judging only by some interpretations. Boom managed to make even hardcore Sonamy haters say their dynamic is cute, so it's already far from the worst.

@GoddessMillenia I tend to follow "Creator is dead" rule and since Naka has been nothing but a douchebag I definitely don't want to discover his opinions on everything in Sonic. Just like Sally being naked = being a slut is outdated when she wore clothes a got new attire since 2012. Amy hasn't been abusive since 2000's, I bet you wouldn't be happy if all people associate Sally with is "The Slap" ignoring everything else. By that logic, Rouge and Blaze are Sally's rip-offs because both of them share either leader trope or princess role. Even in dark era Amy has shown to be a good leader, I genuinely laughed my lungs off seeing how many Sally simps were raging how anybody except her can be a reader. I'm not even mentioning 90's UK Fleetway comics where Amy was actually a leader on her own where Sally didn't even exist. So I guess we're even, I hate Sonic and Sally's dynamic in SatAM. It feels like Sally gloats about being smarter than cocky autistic child which is exactly how Sonic was like in the show. It is just as overrated and has zero chemistry as Knuckles and Rouge in basically every media they're interacting with each other.

It's just with how little Sonic actually wanted to rule the kindgom they don't really seem like anything than just good friends. Besides, Sonic stating that he would slow down for her while is sweet and everything kinda feels like torture for Sonic's ideological compass. In comparison, in IDW Amy says she would not want Sonic to change anything in himself because she admires and is always inspired by everything he already has. Monkey Khan felt like a much better match imo, at least he understood her completely and she felt safe open herself and share every secret with him.
SonAmy is a Toxic Relationship, Root for Sonally. Sally loves sonic, she's Tails Aunt, he calls her Aunt Sally. Sonic is having a dream, and he's all "Oh baby your the Best, your so Awesome." Well Technically Sally is only Naked a couple of Times, I mean she does wear a Pair of boots and an Open Denim Vest. Sally has Flaws and weaknesses, She let's you know who she is. Actually her being hated for being naked makes a lot of sense because: 1. Every single girl in the franchise at this point is wearing clothes so it feels incredibly awkward to have one random naked girl for no reason 2. Her body is so awkward it looks more humanoid than an actual cartoon 3. She isn’t a regular animal she’s an anthropomorphic animal so that’s why being naked makes her terrible Btw it’s kinda funny that your saying that she has nothing on her body while showing this picture 3:47 at the same time Overall the hate she gets for her design is well deserved

Jan 24, 2024: It’s actually a shame how so many folks are taking this old video so seriously lol. I love both Sonamy and Sonally (Boom Sonamy is my OTP.) but you when you folks just comment nonsense here on what ship is wrong or not, you’re contributing absolutely nothing. This was just a video explaining a fandom’s hate towards a character I personally find interesting. Sally has been laid to rest since 2017, move on from the hate.

It killed me learning that due to legal problems that were happening with the Sonic comics, Sega had to make some changes that ended the love relationship with Sally and Sonic, along with Sonic's other allies because of this, the characters can only be friends and can no longer have love relationships with their friends.
It’s weird too because she isn’t even a character from the comics, she’s from SATAM. It’s just another poor excuse to not bring back characters from other media sort of like how they refuse to incorporate any of the other classic Sonic characters into the "modern" games and universe. (With the exception of Mecha Sonic in IDW, but he’s still not brought back for anything else outside of the classic series)
There were no legal problems with Sally. Ian Flynn is a Sonamy fan. THAT'S why they were broken up.

Sonamy fans are only afraid of Sally just because of the fact that she so happens to be the official love interest for Sonic and not Amy, even though Sally is a better character than they’d ever realize, Sonic never had romantic feelings towards Amy, and that Amy and Sally are still friends. Yeah yeah sure Sally being Sonic’s gf is cute and all, but I care more about overall dynamics between *all* of the characters and how the characters themselves are written. Sally is a well written character most of the time, (Unless it’s under something already bad like the infamous slap or Ken Penders) and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind in that. And I’m really sad Sally wasn’t brought back for IDW either, I think both her and Amy would’ve had a more interesting dynamic there instead of Amy just straight up ripping off traits from Sally. She could’ve been a mentor for Amy, teaching her how she’s too obsessive on her feelings confusing respect with love, and to help make her better to stand up for herself. Sally and some other comic, show, and classic characters deserved more justice instead of being Thanos snapped from existence. Archie was among one of my favorites because it actually respected the source materials and came up with creative ways to fill in new ones when it was done right. Seeing other characters being translated into it like Mighty, Ray, and Fang was a blast.
You want another example of a fictional couple done right that isn’t just relying on them only being love interests? How about Gumball and Penny? A lot of people expected the latter to turn out as a stereotypically boring idea of turning her into a deer, but this ended up being far from the case. Her being different from our initial expectations helped flesh her out as her own character more with her own flaws and traits. Gumball confessing his love for her by then was satisfying because despite having differences they would do anything to help each other. *That* is what makes them such good characters and an overall perfectly natural and adorable couple. And they aren’t just fan service either, they actually do stuff that’s relevant. They have *depth.* The same overall idea pretty much applies the same way to Sonic and Sally as well, except it was done much earlier and was not picked up on as much because it was being established for comics. I should also mention that Sally is not an Archie character, she is from SATAM. It’s just another poor excuse to not bring back other show, comic, and classic characters like they always did, Archie was just one of those few things to break the mold. That’s why Archie was among one of my favorites when done right because they actually knew how to handle their store and characters regardless of source material. It took risks, some were very poor, (The slap and Ken Penders) while others became some of the best stuff written for Sonic.

Tbh, I always thought Sally made a better partner for Sonic than Amy. Sonic and Sally’s relationship just comes off as more mature and in harmony.
Out of all of Sonic’s love interests, Sally felt like she truly understood Sonic’s personality the best, where he preferred being independent rather than being tied down to any committed relationship or lesser rank. She trusts he can look out for himself when in action, so she respects his decisions to go out and save others his own way rather than always giving him orders.
Sonic, in turn, respects her for that, along with her never treating him (or others) as being lesser than her just because of her leader title. Her mature demeanor probably also helps ease his tension both during battle against Eggman or just in normal.
They both understand and respect each other’s differences, which is what builds their relationship as they don’t see each other as lesser or greater than the other, but rather as equals, which is what all healthy relationships should be built on. That’s why I don’t care if their dynamic is romantic or platonic, because either way, it’s the trust and admiration they show towards each other that makes them such as wholesome pairing.

I grew up with Sally watching the SatAM cartoon and reading the Archie Comics, she’s FAR from a perfect character, but Sally ended up being my favorite character from the franchise. Truth be told, I still have a crush on the character. 😅
In all seriousness though and like everyone else says, she was a really well written character. The best part about her was that even though she was a kickass Freedom Fighter, she didn't always have to be like that to be a strong, independent, female character. Should they have Sally in a game one day (let alone the new show), I really hope that they stay true to the character she had comics and SatAM.

And the fan base is the reason why I don't like the character or the shipping anymore despite used to being a big fan of it. Heck I've had a really toxic silver fan who adored this couple who called me out in a video just because I had an opinion on her. Not to mention I've had death threats sent to me because of my views. She is very much doing a better job with the characters and she’s giving Silver more tension and that’s a good thing because silver has it that much attention from the video games. I'm one those people who ship sonic and amy but that just me. I think the main reason people hate sally are these
1. The childish side of sonamy fans and other shiper
2. The story writing of archie series. (It did got batter over time) but these are main reasons fans hate her I guess
I ship Sonamy too! :) my favorite variation being Boom Sonamy. And yes I agree with these reasons. I think it’s more or say on how grown adults get so worked up over fictional writing in the end.
Part of the reason that I know of is because the fans ship Sonic with other characters and like their own head cannon-ships.
Even though I’m a sonamy fan, I LOVE sonally, idk why some sonamy fans are so aggressive- and plus I support sonally! :D

Im gonna be perfectly honest, im a SonAmy fan and i dislike SonAlly. I know these 2 ships butt heads alot, but while i have my own feelings about Sonally, it doesn't mean other people can't enjoy the ship and that applies to SonAmy as well. I think both ships can exist in peace. Whats not ok is bullying and belittling someones opinions that don't align with you're own. In the famous words of cartoon Sonic "thats no good😏"

But sally knew that shadow was her husband but sonic didn't know that idk who's fault it is but it could be Amy's fault because she cheat on him... Idk at the first place...maybe and also sally cheated on shadow 3 times..
Oh yeah the whole Shadow husband thing I believe was an AU thing. Archie does a bunch of AUs and shit. The whole love triangle for me was pretty unnecessary. So I understand why some people dislike her character, but I am more or so referring to her character in general rather then just the relationships.

I'm also a huge Sonic the Hedgehog, Sally, and Sonally fan. I agree with a lot of what you say. Except I really dislike SonAmy, even in Sonic X. I just think SonAmy is one of the worst ships ever made because Sonic is not romantically into her. Even Yugi Naka himself said Sonic and Amy will never get married. How much more non-canon can you get than that? Not to mention like you said, SonAmy is a toxic relationship.

It's pretty bold move to claim Sonamy is one of the worst ships ever made judging only by some interpretations. Boom managed to make even hardcore Sonamy haters say their dynamic is cute, so it's already far from the worst.

@GoddessMillenia I tend to follow "Creator is dead" rule and since Naka has been nothing but a douchebag I definitely don't want to discover his opinions on everything in Sonic.
Just like Sally being naked = being a slut is outdated when she wore clothes a got new attire since 2012. Amy hasn't been abusive since 2000's, I bet you wouldn't be happy if all people associate Sally with is "The Slap" ignoring everything else.
By that logic, Rouge and Blaze are Sally's rip-offs because both of them share either leader trope or princess role. Even in dark era Amy has shown to be a good leader, I genuinely laughed my lungs off seeing how many Sally simps were raging how anybody except her can be a reader. I'm not even mentioning 90's UK Fleetway comics where Amy was actually a leader on her own where Sally didn't even exist.
So I guess we're even, I hate Sonic and Sally's dynamic in SatAM. It feels like Sally gloats about being smarter than cocky autistic child which is exactly how Sonic was like in the show. It is just as overrated and has zero chemistry as Knuckles and Rouge in basically every media they're interacting with each other.
Just to clarify, I don't hate Amy Rose as a character. I just really dislike SonAmy, and prefer Sally and Sonally.

@GoddessMillenia I understand, I'm on the opposite side with liking Sonamy and not caring for Sonally. It's just with how little Sonic actually wanted to rule the kindgom they don't really seem like anything than just good friends. Besides, Sonic stating that he would slow down for her while is sweet and everything kinda feels like torture for Sonic's ideological compass. In comparison, in IDW Amy says she would not want Sonic to change anything in himself because she admires and is always inspired by everything he already has.
Monkey Khan felt like a much better match imo, at least he understood her completely and she felt safe open herself and share every secret with him.
SonAmy is a Toxic Relationship, Root for Sonally. Sally loves sonic, she's Tails Aunt, he calls her Aunt Sally. Sonic is having a dream, and he's all "Oh baby your the Best, your so Awesome." Sally looks flattered until she finds out "There's nothing like a Chili Dog." I guess that's why he runs so fast, He's full of gas. LOL. Well Technically Sally is only Naked a couple of Times, I mean she does wear a Pair of boots and an Open Denim Vest. Sally has Flaws and weaknesses, She let's you know who she is. She's Not a Mary Sue.

Hi! I do agree Amy has changed and I’m glad she did. I was more or so referring to her older character. I’m also a Sonamy fan myself so this wasn’t meant to attack anyone. This was just meant to document the hate against Sally and debunk the logic Sonamy fans used to justify the hate against her back then. Sorry you didn’t like this video!
Actually her being hated for being naked makes a lot of sense because:
1. Every single girl in the franchise at this point is wearing clothes so it feels incredibly awkward to have one random naked girl for no reason
2. Her body is so awkward it looks more humanoid than an actual cartoon
3. She isn’t a regular animal she’s an anthropomorphic animal so that’s why being naked makes her terrible

Well there’s one thing ruins that point and it’s the fact that other females characters from the same cartoon wear clothes so what’s Sally’s excuse ? And as for the updated design there’s two things that hold it back :
1. It was made way too late by the time the internet became more and more popular she was still naked and that’s why there are still pictures of her naked even to this day
2. It’s only in the comics and not everyone likes to read them like imagine someone wanted to be introduced to Sally but doesn’t like reading comics and prefer to watch movies and tv shows so he has no choice other than watching the naked version of her in the cartoon
