My Ville Valo has Severe Asthma Overlap,too, I'd read about him on Wikipedia, Google, etc., that's why he always seems, tired, distant and expressionless.
When you see Ville, you can easily see that he REALLY cares about fashion and style. He has his signature , like wearing suits with hoodies, the silver rings and stuff like that. People complaining about the questions for a FASHION BLOG really do not understand him. He's not an arrogant intellectual in a ivory tower. He likes art, books, music and he likes fashion too. Style is a big complement for the music.

I see that there are some critics about the questions. In fact from this type of questions you can see the deep personalty of someone, and you clearly can see how chill he is, and unfortunately there was no youtube back then 1994-2000 to see some of his interviews and understanding how humble and direct he was.
I remember attending HIM's concert at the House of Blues' Myrtle Beach when I was 16. Ville locked eyes with me, and that's still the best concert I've ever attended. I've never experienced an obsession like my teenage self with His Infernal Majesty, specifically Ville Valo.
My favourite "Ville clothing item" was the black jacket with text " Your pretty face is going to hell" on the back from old live shows in Germany 2002 or 2003
I loved that jacket, too, what my Ville Valo has, I wonders does honey still has it, I could never asks, cause celebrities can't read their own mails, because of what happened to Selena and John Lennon, their fans murdered them and my Ville isn't on social medias, because people says and does awful things to people and celebrities.

i know, i was confused too. but i was actually asking because i gave this a thought before. when you look into HIM fan communities, usually what fans answer what they would ask ville if they ever got the opportunity to talk to him, is super shiftless as well. Like, how do you write your songs or how do you cope with being a sex symbol or all that stuff that he has to answer since 20 years now. he is such an interesting person, there should be tons of original questions that are at least a bit as interesting as he is. BUT it actually is not that easy. If I had the chance to ask, I would need to think through what idea i have of him as a person in order to get to the questions that really have some substance to them. but it's not as easy as it sounds at first. lol, sorry for rambling

what a nice answer you wrote! I can relate to this so much. I truly think that all the good bits about him you just described are strongly rooted in his parents. They are a strong family with a lot of support and open-mindedness. they are atheists as far as i know and gave him a lot of freedom, but not too much. It's something he has in common with many people that despite their environment or sometimes hard circumstances can handle all kinds of influences. the lifestyle he chose and the place that he is withdrawing his inspiration from is a very exhausting one. the pain of relationships (like he said he is almost always in one and never had a ONS), the corruptness of the business, the parties (well, not so much anymore, because he does reasonable decisions) the exhaustion after the tour, he talks a lot about that, right? and we know about his rehab and all that. I think he has pretty decent methods to get himself out of the mudd again and that the way he is writing is so true to what he feels that it is very therapeutic. it has amazed me to do a bit of research from today back until to 1996 and to see how much he has changed and grown as a person. he has always been very humble and down to earth exactly lik you said it. and he is like an open book, the way he moves and talks, you can totally see how something must have happend after 2010 that made him grow up in a way. i would love to have a conversation about these things with him like i am having with you now, but I wouldn't know how to not make it sound creepy haha. and the way how they actually created a song within the band, that would really interest me, too. I can imagine the days he locks himself up in his room and writes these diary-like songs, that's basically the same I do as living from painting, and you said you can relate as well. But I would never know how to handle and process it with other people after that. this and a million more thoughts. he's such a muse. And I usually don't say this kind of cheesy devoted stuff haha.

First time I struggle to understand Ville on a video, and that's because the interviewer just wouldn't shut up while he's talking!!! How annoying is it when you're trying to talk and someone talks over you? She's rude, ruined the whole thing for me.

First time I struggle to understand Ville on a video, and that's because the interviewer just wouldn't shut up while he's talking!!! How annoying is it when you're trying to talk and someone talks over you? She's rude, ruined the whole thing for me.

I perceive her as very likeable, i would even go so far he liked her too, otherwise the atmosphere of that interview packed with all those super stupid questions would be totally different. her voice is very soothing, too
Poor dude, one can tell how bored and uncomfortable he feels with those questions. Not that HIM was a great band; but at least she should have made some some thoughtful questions.
I made it to 04:48 and I am so dissapointed! Poor Ville, has to answer all that stupid fashion stuff. Ok: I hope it gets better on the (almost) second half..... fingers crossed!
