He watched everyone he loved die early on and had to do everything on his own after, he got married, raised a family, became a super Saiyan 1, 2, Super Saiyan God, Super saiyan blue and was the first to achieve the power beyond super saiyan blue all his own.
One of the best anime characters by far.

Yeah Vegeta is good character, it's just that I'm a huge Goku fan so I had this put this comment in to say "Hey...Goku worked hard his entire and surpasses this Elite saiyan prince"
Both of them worked hard...but Vegeta was born with an immense power level (at the time 9000 is huge) meanwhile Goku started from scratch and went on to become a legend. They are both good characters... unfortunately DBS Goku is kinda garbage even as a Goku fan I have to admit... Vegeta is better as character in DBS.

Literally none of the battles with him, alone, could have beaten that monster, however put together it wore him down to the point where Goku and Frieza could force a draw. Kinda says a lot when two of the best in DBZ Universe 7 have to force a draw with their opponent.

@@jorgegalicia1697 Vegeta couldn't go UI, he attempted to during the Tournament of Power, but gave up due to it being too gimmicky and inconsist. As for Goku going SSJ Blue Evo, as far as I know he never has, instead just combining Kaioken with standard SSJ Blue.

@@jorgegalicia1697 It's actually entirely possible Vegeta will never bother getting Ultra Instinct for a similar reason to why he never goes SSJ3. It has too many drawbacks and he has other forms that fit with his overall fighting style (more ki blast focused, as opposed to more physically focused like Goku). Similarly, Goku might never achieve SSJ Blue Evolution since SSJ Blue Kaioken is much easier for him to improve and doesn't have an apparent power limit.

Ssgss evolution is a Vegeta only thing, maybe trunks could also do it.
Its like super vegeta but in blue, so goku getting that form should be impossible. And from what I know, ssgsse wont appear anymore just like super vegeta.
As for vegeta getting UI, even tho he technicly can get it (as literally any character can), the writers have been giving hints that he will never get it in both the anime and manga (basicly confirmed in the manga that he will not get it, so anime should have the same outcome).

It might take a while before they change the name since fans called ssgss ssb/super saiyan blue before it was made canon
Let's face it, the root of the problem is that they called the godly form Super Saiyan God rather than Saiyan God so they couldn't call the next form SUPER Saiyan God.

Vegeta thought he could achieve Ultra Instinct, little did he know, his path would be greater than the path of Ultra Instinct. He didn't have the same mindset as Goku, meaning that he will not only he would never achieve Ultra Instinct, but instead achieve something greater, something that requires pride and pure ego and the need of destruction. Ultra Ego. Goku followed the path of creation, while Vegeta follows the path of destruction. Goku may have something Vegeta will never achieve, but Vegeta has something Goku will never achieve as well.

I think deep down, Vegeta has always been my main dude. He pushes his limits, while Goku expands his. Like Vegeta perfects himself while Goku looks for out of the box solutions like a true underdog.
Hard to call Goku the underdog after so long. Not to be mean, but I never feel tension in a fight that has Goku, not since the Android Saga.
Goku pushes his limits, not merely expanding his, pretty much why he has more forms and has always been stronger in the story.

As much as this feels like an asspull in the anime, Schemmel and Sabat's performances are incredible and this soundtrack is among the best in the whole series. A fantastic scene.
A moment that doesn't eclipse, but does rival, the final atonement. Atonement was the first showing of Vegeta truly turning towards the good side. Royal Blue is when he finally realizes his potential, and his desire to do things his own way. The first moment where he is no longer following Goku on the same SSJ path, but truly evolves and takes his own path. Truly a defining moment for the character.

I love how elegant this is. It really brings out the royalty that is Vegeta's blood. The Royal Blue Super Saiyan God. I like to call it Super God Vegeta because its like his super swol form but faster. He isnt inhibited by the enlarged muscles. They called it Super Vegeta.
