When stuck in slow moving or normal traffic, you should keep the engine running to prevent overheating. This is because the coolant will keep circulating and the fans will together keep the engine temperature under control. The engine temperature rises by 5°C to 10°C when you turn it off. So unless you are stuck so badly that you are sure you won't be moving at all for 10 minutes or more, it is better to keep the engine running.
Someone with insight finally. That makes sense.

Boss I know a place where you can test out the bike off-road on ORR itself.
Take a left on Kadubeesanahalli underpass and follow the road until you see "Kariammana Agrahara Road" and take a right there. The road is actually turning left over there and right might not seem like it's a road at all. But a lot of fun on that trail. Fairly short as well maybe a km

Gone straight to the shop to get crashbar, saddle stay and topbox rack fabricated and get later spotlights and a couple of horns - stock horns sucks, quak quak 🥴
Can’t buy anything here in the Philippines so only option for me 🤷♂️🥴,
Only thing is the exhaust sound, not happy with that so drilling some holes into the rear baffling- see how that goes if no good got no choice but to try and find a slip on exhaust here somewhere.

I have 2018 duke 390 and till 8000kms it was buttersmooth. But real shit started unfolding after that fast forward a year and 23k kms on Odo. Still leaving with that.
But definitely won't recommend KTM to anyone

Hi , want u to give us your experience riding KTM at marathalli to Electronic City below flyover and again continue from Electronic City , Silk Board via Koramangala , on weekday either between 10am till 11am or between 18:30hrs till 19hrs , your experience will definitely help in deciding if this machine is designed for only weekends or for daily commuting.👍 and the last the way u were gliding in traffic was awesome .
I know where ur coming from!! Haha this is horrifying, I usually commute way early in the morning or early afternoon, so I usually don't get the wrath of bangalore! If in case I get late at work, I leave at 9pm to avoid traffic again! This has been my trick for nearly 5 years now and it helps 😁😎

It will heat up yes, but cools down faster too unlike duke 390! This is what I have observed, I would suggest u take a test ride and find out for urself!

Could you please tell me about the Engine overheating issue of this Adventure 390 in the dense traffic situations
Apparently this bike doesn’t get no where near as hot as ..say the Deke 200, dual fans should keep it much more cooler i hope- just giving feedback from other videos i watched where they say temperature rarely goes over half way....i hope that’s true and correct...i will find out soon as i just got mine today but can’t ride it yet for 2 months 🥴 due to getting the registration until March 20 🥴😫😫
