Max sold Jim's dad's medal (though turned out to be Jack) plus I bet Jim found Max abandoning his first wife and Bradly was wrong. Even though Jim was no saint in his years before Dot or taking in Sonia and Robbie those old school guys believed you stayed married even if you were miserable .
And Jack. All the Branning children are bad eggs, perhaps except April.

I remember these days. Stacey looks so young. It's funny how Max never really seemed to change over these years. Still playing games, but I have seen more of a vulnerable side to him now. Tanya's great. One of my favourite characters.

Tanya really has some brass neck to be fair she and Max where having an affair behind his first wife Rachel’s back and he divorced her and left Bradley to marry Tanya. I mean she was quite happy sleeping with him when he was married to someone else but she didn’t like it done to her. What did she expect he’s a serial cheat he married his mistress kind of creates a vacancy

I don’t condone or agree with lying and cheating because that is wrong and yes it’s no excuse for cheating. But Max’s past childhood emotional trauma and upbringing has to be taken into consideration. Max had a horrible childhood and was mentally and physically abused by Jim when he was a child. So Max’s Lying and cheating is probably the result of his childhood trauma and mental and physical child abuse victimization combined along with his parents alcoholism has resulted and contributed in him developing a sexual addiction over the years. He’s still has a lot of childhood issues and those childhood issues haven’t gone away. Max still has them
