Wow. Thanks for sharing that Awesome, beautiful bike. I started a brand new KX500 a lifetime ago wearing soft bottom sneakers! Had quite the limp the next day.
Can you make a little video, scan if you will of your bike please, that thing is now a piece of art. The sound brings me back 30 years amazing. I owned 3 250s all WXC I did woods riding in Massachusetts. Yes please small video scan over your bike, what a phenomenal job you did.
I can do that at sometime. Will hopefully get riden for the first time soon. Run it in, little bit of a ride and then parked most likely. Thankyou for your comments.
wow that bike sounds great! like really great, amazing tone to it. Any chance we can get more sound clips of it in 2022, even if they're just short ones like this?? :-)

@@rj_crusha8682 Let's call it different, KX had the torque, and more forgiving, you need to keep the CR in the rev's. 2 different styles of riding made one better than the other, depending on what you were doing...and the Honda, let's be real...was better built than any KX, but needed a better rider to show it off proper ;)

Oh hell no! That's like that guitar in spinal tap that's not to be played. That bike is too good to start or like unwrapping vintage star trek figuers.
My uncle bought one brand new in 1982 and told me stories about how powerful they are .... the bike is still in the family and has been restored
That deep raspy sound of a 500cc 2 stroke is simply amazing!
A real treasure!! Congratulations
I love the sound of a big old 2 stroke. Funny watching the torque of the engine cause the rear of the bike to compress too.
This is An absolute beast 😃☝️
The neighbours will love that
That sounds great
A true Beast
The best thing on my old Maico 490? A decompression valve!
Wow, your Husky looks and sounds beautiful! Lucky you - that's an awesome MX bike!

I miss the Bultaco 250 Pursang that I had in the 1970's
Fantastic bike and what a sound, thanks for sharing!
Glad you like it!
Damn , that sounds good.
Super Crisp! Beautiful bike!
The bike looks great!
Beautiful bike
Sounds like the world's largest husky chainsaw. Love it awesome bike
Had the WXC250 what a dependable ripper!
I had 84 Can-am 250mx that kicked on the left back in the early 90's when I was 14!
The shake of the rear fender means you're in for a hell of a ride.
Going from two shocks to one signalled the end of society.
And a sad day for Chiropractors.
Nice bike man
Real swedich power 👍🇸🇪💪
It's so stasfying
Not sure which words to use about this Husky, but it is beautiful. A stunning restoration.
Thank you very much!
Bad to the bone. What a bike!
Hope he tightened up the rear axle nut before he rode anywhere. I had one of these Huskys, sure brings back a lot of memories.
Very nice!!!! 2 Strokes 4 Ever!!!!!
Sounds good

2-stroke rules 👍👌

Come on Andrew , give us a blast past. Or three.
You know you want to.😉

Bella zio oooo!!!!!
I always wondered about kick starting big bores at the gate, I bet it took them a while to start 20 open bikes.
Not that hard. I'm getting old and first start.

Badass bike man. I love those old school Husqvarna’s. Ever owned a CR500r Honda?
No I haven't mate. Riden a few and owned a few big bore Yammies and Huskies. The Honda is nothing special or scary. The KX's were more of a beast.

I had a 81 430.broke my finger the first time I rode it..
Congrats! Way badass bike. What ratio of premix gas are you running?
Running Maxima 927 at 40:1. Maxima for the smell and 40:1 because it's easy. 500ml to 20l. Have always run my two strokes at 40:1.
I love 2 stroke dirt bikes but electric start would be nice
the suspension compressing just from the engine gyro

I wish I could kick mine left footed.
Tighten that rear wheel bolt.
Haha. Wheels had to come off again.
Has still not been ridden. Have tyres waiting to go on. They are the original tyres on that bike.
Good pick up though.
What tires are you using?
IRC, they do a good 17 inch

I had one. Not that hard. New rebuild, full of oil and left foot. Go for it. I was happy.

Thanks mate. It will get ridden but rarely and will be mainly for display purposes. Can not have a bike that is not functional or never has been.
