Infected rain are in my opinion extremely underrated, Lena (the lead singer) has a lot of harsh vocal range that can be seen in older music

@@bagaloot5288 responding to an old comment:) 86 is amazing, i have only seen a few reactions to songs that old. i have been on a IR, Jinjer, Butcher Babies and Bloodywood binge for months now.
I was very hyped to have tickets to Infected Rain for May 19th in Toronto, but someone did not do their research and they cancelled do to Visa problems:( ffs, first band i was going to see in years. was down more then i would have guessed at the news, esp since it was like a week before the date.
@OldSkuleNerd, not sure if you read old post comments, but Orphan Soul or anything from 86 would be amazing.
and don't forget Ankor! another recent obsession of mine.
Lena is such a wonderful, positive, and inspiring being. Infected Rain just finished their first US tour along side Butcher Babies and Stitched Up Heart. I got to meet all of them, and they are some of the nicest, down to earth people. I would recommend you check out their songs 'Orphan Soul', 'Enslaved By a Dream', and 'Mold', and also her rendition of 'Listen to Your Heart'. Also, Lena has her own channel called "Bananas" where she gives BTS and just some other quirky things. I'm also expecting a few more of their music videos to be coming soon with their new album right around the corner. thank you for reacting to these great artists. 🇲🇩

I saw them several times live on stage ... and they are awesome .... so much energy. And all of the bandmembers are so kind and take time after the show for the fans. I love this band and when i hear their music a smile ist on my face ... 🤘🤘🤘.

Lena is one of the sweetest, kindest most real person I've ever met. I don't think I've ever met anyone like her. I've been a fan for years, and this past year they did their very first U.S. tour and lemme tell you, amazing isn't a strong enough word. She could tell I was a bit nervous while talking to her, and she grabbed me by my shoulders, said "it's ok. I'm just a person like anyone else here. Just like you I'm just a person. Then we took pictures etc. It was really great. Her kindness was the best part.
The vocalist is Elena Cataraga, who goes by the name Lena Scissorhands.
Awesome band. Saw them live in Stockholm a few years ago together with Lacuna Coil and Eluveitie :-)

she is another product of melissa cross i believe. Shes trained alot of metal vocalists these days on how to scream and all without ruining their voice
The Singer is named Lena Scissor hands, and she like Tatiana is a vocal beast! Love this band.
Saw them live few weeks ago, great set! Met Lena after the show, nicest person. Ran to sign my Infected Rain shirt, gonna frame it!
A lot of people compare Infected Rain and Jinjer.. I personally think their sounds are totally different. This references both the instrumentals to Lena's and Tatiana's vocal styles. Jinjer's instrumentals hit harder to me. With one guitar and one bass with the drums, there's more substance to complete the whole sound whereas Infected Rain can layer more with 2 guitars plus bass and drums. Tatiana from Jinjer has a more jazzy clean voice with guttural growls and screams while Lena has more of a poppy/operatic clean vocal and higher scream (in the newer records). To me they belong on separate planes in the metal world but are lumped together because "whoa girl metal singer" mentality. Just my opinion. I love them both, but I prefer Lena's style.
Another note: it really irritates me that people lump every female metal singer together. Brittany slays is a power metal singer and their band plays power metal. Completely different from Lena or Tatiana. Semblant is a totally different sound than any of the others. Butcher Babies, Otep, different from all those others. Just because it's a female fronted band doesn't mean they can be compared apples to apples. Fuck! It passes me off and ot also holds back a band's success because of the "gate keepers" out there
@Steve Kendra I definitely agree with you there me personally I don't see any relation or similarities between Jinjer and Infected Rain because as you said they're completely separate entities with different styles
Vidic (the guitarist with dreads) also has an electronic side-project called Another Kind.
I just saw them a few weeks ago on their first U.S. tour. Lena actually invited me on stage for their final song.
Her vocal sound a lot more like black metal also you should really check out their song orphaned soul

As you are dipping your in eastern european(ish) metal... Check out Space of Variations. They were touring with Jinjer just now, but this tune reminds me of them.

Lena and Tati are good friends and have been for several years :) Along with other older songs I saw listed just a few comments below, I'd like to add to the suggestions of IR older songs with "Sop Waiting" it seems pretty befitting of society's current polarizations.

Lena is a goddess. Orphan Soul was my introduction song to them and I've been hooked since.
My angry teenage self got drawn in by Me against You, but Orphan Soul is my favourite to this day.
Another women with a lot of power in her voice in a whole other light is Daria aka Nookie in the band СЛОТ or Slot in English. I would love if you could do a reaction to this band and its a male and female fronted band and the guy singer name is Igor. They released their debut album in 2003 and there from Moscow, Russia. There song "Стадия гнева" was posted back in dec 2020 so its not that old.

My opinion on this vocalist harsh vocals - I find it more similar to Null Positiv (or even Butcher Babes) then to Jinjer or Spiritbox and regarding the music - its closer to Spiritbox then to Jinjer. What I try to say is this band is not really close to Jinjer neither with vocal tones neither with musical approach. I agree its impressive and it professional and the production is great quality. Will be interesting to see more of this band on your channel. I was familiar with this band previously and I find their previous tracks not as good as this one, so my personal opinion is that they are growing and getting better.
Yup. I just saw them here in the U.S. with Butcher Babies. They complimented each other well.
I saw and met them when they was touring with Stitched Up Heart and Butcher Babies. Great people Great band. Talked with Sergey for about 25 minutes during and after the greet and meet . And then he came up to me before and then after their set to see if I was still doing okay. At the greet and meet he saw I was rubbing my back and asked if I was hurt. I told him I have a bad back and he got me a chair to sit in.
Lena Scissorhands is amazing, band is celebrating 13 years together this year. Some of their older stuff is vocally heavier. She does a slayer cover live in the studio, and if you dig, there is a live video of her and Tatiana back in the day

I love infected rain much more than jinjer...Lena's vocals are so much better in my opinion.... IR has been around for a very long time and just now getting more recognition...the recognition they deserve..these guys were just teenagers when they started this band ... Jinjer is awesome as well but I will listen to infected rain all day over jinjer any day....and..Lena doesn't really like to be compared to Tatiana...great reaction Bro...keep them coming 🤘🎸😁

Lena and Tati are good friends and there are some old videos of Tati on stage with Infected Rain. The bands themselves have very different sounds though and not something I'd really compare to each other...
