I have a theory that it isnt about gaining confidence, but that people needed to get used to his 4D personality, so he shows them little by little, I guess if he is too open from the beginning people get shocked with his personality ^^ I remember an MC going quiet for a long while one time he introduced himself as "Robot Wow" that was an awkward pause in a live program, so I guess he speaks less so as to avoid that type of response. I might be totally wrong, lol, who knows?

i feel like sehyoon is so incredibly underrated. his dancing is so beautifully fluid, and his duality is unmatched?? you want someones whos wholesome, insightful and a lil reserved, but when hes in his element, he can be an eccentric crackhead and dancing machine? someone who is so tiny yet also could step one me bc his body rolls are choice's blessing?? also his voice is very different compared to the others, but its a kind thats just sooo smooth, unlike donghunnie and junnie who typically are nasally (not that its bad, but like i wish sehyoon's voice would be appreciated more because it holds qualities that can support the others but also stands out in its own right; he knows his strengths very well and can use it to his advantage to produce something soo lovely). even in baby tonight, sehyoon's lines were my favorite ;w;
