I found it particularly interesting that he didn't play the low e in the verses, he chose to play the octave up. But you don't miss the low notes in the mix.
Tim typically on a four string bass on a song in E the bassist would play the root note as low as possible (open low e) instead of playing the same note as the guitar (7th fret A, which he does here)
maksphoto78 ah okay. Thanks for the reply though! I appreciate it. I believe it is from there. Most mastertracks like this come from guitar hero or rock band. I finally put together a list of all of the songs from GH into one page so I could search them to figure out where masters like this are from, because I love this so much. This is such a great tune
shitty kevin shirley not givin a fuck snare....that said is that one part really on one bass drum cause i know hes fast as fuck but it sounds so much like double bass
Probably a Premiere brand! Not sure the size. Seems tuned fairly tight, top and bottom, but who knows. It has reverb or something and is probably compressed. Also Nicko hits rim shots on backbeat and fills. Makes a shotgun type sound. He hits the snare closer to the center with the tip of the stick hitting center, while the heavier part of the stick hits the rim,at the same time,to put it in simple terms.
Per me è geniale!
La perfección Steve Harris y Nicko mcbrian
This could be in a megaman stage, if you know what I mean.
Megaman X1-X4
You did a great job ...thanks a lot
Good job, keep up-loading as many as you can.Brilliant!!
How is Nicko able to play double beat with single bass peddle?😲😲
Lots and lots of practice! I thought it was a recent thing, but listen to Somewhere in Time album carefully ;-)
@@maksphoto78 bro that sounds godly

Vinnie Colaiuta does it all the time. So did Clive.
Interesting. Comes across as punky. The notes that Steve chooses are not always what you would expect but it must be he is harmonizing.

@@Tim_Ankarbranth He's harmonizing on the bass.
@@Tim_Ankarbranth You probably have a better ear than I do, so he's just playing the root in different octaves?
@@Tim_Ankarbranth No, he was talking about plaing E (or other root notes) an octave up.
is this from rock band blitz? how was this acquired?
No idea. I just found the separate instrument tracks here on CZcams.

They have six guys now? What, did the other guy win a contest or something?
He just came back.
Adrian Smith left the band years ago, to be replaced by Janick Gers. Then Adrian came back, so they decided to keep both of them in the band ^_^.
what kind of snaredrum is this?
Nico's snare always sounded a bit reverby. Check X Factor album.
Angelo Arvani the bad sounding one
