2024 DMRF Funding Announcement: Christian Schlieker, PhD, Yale University

In his study, Systematic Identification of Cellular Networks Underlying Dystonia, Dr. Schlieker intends to identify the genetic networks involved in DYT-TOR1A dystonia. In this video, Dr. Schlieker explains how this study will explore disease-causing gene networks that could become novel drug targets for treating dystonia, a neurological disorder that causes excessive, involuntary muscle contractions.
