Jagraj didn’t have the answers to what Hamza was asking. The reason is when you get cornered into a intellectual conversation Islam has the answers because the Quran and Sunnah not only mention spiritual experiences but even scientific, mathematical, historical events have been proven in the holy Quran to be true. Whereas when you question others they can’t give you the answer. I think Jagraj did get slightly agitated with the questions Hamza put forward to him.

Sikhi is not just about experiences. It’s also about logic and common sense. Sikhi doesn’t give you the answer, it says use your brain. Jagraj should have brought this up in this argument and elaborate more on it to answer the questions Hamza had while he was trying to understand Sikhi in the first place. Jagraj explains Sikhi is a thinking person’s religion from the videos in the Basics of Sikhi’s channel.

@@muhammadhaseeb2378 Yes I’m saying he could have expanded it a bit more because Sikhi is much more than experiences… You can’t limit your mind while trying to understand the essence of Sikhi. Sikhi has everything in it. For example it has truth, history, spirituality, faith, and it proves to you that God’s power is inside everything as well as human beings. One of the messages of Sikhi is that you can experience God’s bliss when you meditate and chant God’s name (whichever religion you are). As human beings, it all boils down to logic and common sense, which is another message of Sikhi [to acknowledge the humanity inside you and do good for the whole world]. This is all what I believe Jagraj was trying to tell him but he just needed to elaborate a bit more… To understand Sikhi and get the rationality behind it, that’s up to you.

@@shabz4772 Listen, dumbass. He never did any of that. You're taking him out of context, and no Muslim could ever truly challenge him... Muslims never picked him up on anything, either. Not to mention, you're taking the scripture out of context. Muslims like you always lie and play the victims, and everyone knows that. There are many reasons why the world doesn't accept Islam because it's the most controversial religion. Muslims are very misled. Islam is mainly about the prophet Muhammad who went out of line on his own ego, and he never wrote your Koran either, and nothing was original... The Sikh scripture is the most original, and the Guru wrote the text and compiled it themselves, whereas the Koran was written by someone else and possibly took things out of context, which explains why Islam is misled. The Sikh scripture says your prophet acted on his own ego, which resulted in an impure message of God. Sikhism uses Islamic teachings as examples to remind you what the Guru is trying to tell you. Every revelation from God was transmitted through the Gurus, and they were able to successfully compile the same message from God. Sikhism is growing, whether you like it or not. Many Muslims became Sikhs during the time of the Gurus because Sikhism offers more than what other religions, including Islam, offer. Everyone will continue to learn about it and become Sikhs themselves. Your weak argument was shit and proved nothing.

Conversely, Islam obviously has the spirituality aspect, but has tons of rational evidence that proves it is the one truth. The noble Qur'aan being the eternal proof, unchangeable, incomparable, and free of any errors or contradictions. The predictions in it, the information it contains that have only been confirmed by science in last century, all prove Islam is the truth.
The Sikhs continuous use of "many people say your arguments are not rational" without backing it up with anything, shows that hes got nothing.

@LearningG Sikhism history is considered recent history therefore it’s is verifiable, and based off lgbt we treat everyone equal including all women since the start of sikhi.
But for why it’s the truth it has personally worked for me even though that is subjective I tell you right now when you try the mediation my life literally changed. For example let’s say you see someone walking and you want to be a runner, and then you see someone running faster then everyone wouldn’t u want to try the same coach that person has for running? It’s a similar context in that sense to having faith and experiencing God.

A brilliant video, and as a person who studies all religions, after watching this, both speakers get credit, but the gentleman on the right - Hamza kind of nails the debate on an intellectual basis. I strongly think people who have no religion at all and want to study religions can see who has the strongest debate. Personally, and a lot of people in my kind of nature who enjoy studying religions you need something more than 'love' and using experiences as examples to explain sometimes isn't enough.

@LearningG Hi m8, hope you are well and good. From my view and understanding from this video, the gentleman and humble person on the left talks relativley about love and love being the more important factor in everything and from an experience which is amazing and something that I honour. However, there has to be some rationality in the statements being said. I have a lot of Christian friends and they are always talking to me about Jesus and his love which is amazing and fantastic, but they cannot give me real rational statements to back that 'Love' being the truth but more on the experience and emotional side. Religion is very subjective and from this video, the religion from the gentleman on the left regarding 'Sikhi', the video discusses the involvement of inner experiences and sentiments being the truth and such feelings of God guiding the life of the devotee. Here religion involves subjectivity in the sense of individual experience. But can that be argued as being rational in being the truth from experiences and emotions? And do we follow something on the basis of just pure love and experience? Or can we look at it from a physical angle to believe the truth with the emotiona and experiences as when we look at a leaf. The intrinsic capillaries and structure -there is a design to it and it is magnificent, and through 'Art' there has to be a logical understanding of a designer. The laws of physics and all the chemical, physical reactions that take place, there is initiation for that to happen. So who is the initiator and designer?

Don’t you have to experience a faith or rather any way of life to understand it? In order to understand the rationality and the objective/subjective aspects of a particular faith or way of life, you have to experience it first don’t you? That should have been Basics of Sikhi’s way of answering Hamza’s questions and then building on that because there are many ways to make of it. These are some challenging questions coming from Hamza, however, it all boils down to the fact that we are only human and we can only debate so much and get tired of it. I felt Basics of Sikhi in the video was losing patience while answering the questions because it must have been a long day for them that day… With any faith, ways of life, or even politics, it’s just going to infinitely keep going, but there’s a catch - we’re only human, not machines.

Both had facts, but Hamza was trying to understand Sikhi at the very beginning because it was evident that he didn’t know much about Sikhi in the first place and that’s what Basics of Sikhi was trying to do. The Sikh guy was speaking of personal experience - that is subjective not rational. It's like Muslims love Prophet Muhammad more than any other human being does not make him a Prophet. Just because he was nice person.

And if we’re talking about personal experiences i’ve had my personal experiences with Allah. They’re true but that doesn’t mean you’ll believe them. Not spiritually. So i was fasting in Ramadan, then i prayed that Allah makes it rain on who he’s forgiven. Two or three days and it was raining, in egypt in a summer, which is one of the least times that egypt would rain as it has a very low rain fall amount. And I’ve had doubts in the prophethood of Jesus, so i prayed that Allah gives me the truth, and i scrolled in a Quran app randomly, landed on a random surah, scrolled again, landed on a random verse. This was the verse i landed on, *And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"* And i also sinned on a normal hot day, also in egypt, when i prayed for forgiveness from Allah, and then i told him to let it rain when he has forgiven me. I look out my window and it’s raining. Like the man said, personal experiences with God. You won’t necessarily believe them, but that won’t mean they aren’t true. As long as i know they’re true, that’s good for me, but it’s not enough to bring to a debate. A debate has to have objective truth, not subjective. So there you have it bro

There are a lot of people on here going on about how this Sikh guy is respectful. I'm sorry but I don't smoke, inject or ingest toxic substances. So maybe I'm not seeing what you're seeing. This Sikh feigns humility and is rude. He twice cut off Hamza and assumed he knew what he was talking about. Even though he didn't fully comprehend what he was saying. Also, he spoke for ages and really didn't say much. Yet couldn't be as patient as Hamza and let him get more than a couple of sentences across. Open your eyes Brothers and Sisters. Stop holding deluded people to such high standards. Especially ones who aren't nearly as wholly good as you're making them out to be.

How? 5- Is Islamic teachings compatible with all times? How? 6- The concept on hereafter, how does it make sense? @udham singh I think God wants us to ponder, think, reflect, contemplate. This is common ability of every human being. If intellect is not utilized to choose to find the truth then what else? I.e who created this universe which is holding in the space? How come sun and moon are floating with certain speed, do they have some intellect or brain that they do not fault? Do not change the speed, or there is a Creator who is controlling evey bit of this planet? Similarly if you think upon human, it's creation, life and death? And unbelievably amazing creations then who created all of these?

@udham singh your questions about 'haters'. There is alway collision between right and wrong. They cannot live together, like nigative and positive. Can they be the same? Truth and false can they be the same? Similarly islam is a way of life and truth because it answers to every question of mankind e.i life n death, this life and what is come after this life. It give a comprehensive idea which convinces to brain, matches with your nature and gives tranquility to your heart. And since Islam is a way of life thus other way of life's confront with islam and it's ideology. What else do you think is the reason people hate us or think we hate them?
