I’ve always admired Linoy , especially since the 2017 world championships in Pesaro, when I first saw her
I’m so happy that she won the Olympic Gold, she really deserved it after all these years of hard hard work and practice.
She will be a great role model for all the people in her country and for all the girls practicing rhythmic gymnastics ❤️❤️

I remember that competition where she changed the routine in one night is WCC Minsk 2019. She completely changed her hoop and won the final in front of Averina twins.

While I don’t support the Israeli government, and think they, like Russia, should be banned from international sports competition, I will miss Ms. Ashram with all of my heart.🥺
So graceful. So professional. I think we all were blessed by her participation and success in RG, and her career will not soon fade from memory. She, individually, was my favorite to watch with the ball. Where grace is most evident.🥰
While I wish her further success in the sport, I still think it hypocritical to ban only Russia from international competition, when the Israeli government has been basically engaged in the same, EXACT behavior for over 60 years.🤷🏾‍♂️

@@mirjamban796, are they currently engaged in a territorial war against a civilian population seeking peace?🤔
      Didn’t think so.😐
Israel is an Apartheid State, that oversee the daily oppression of MILLIONS of Palestinians. If the US was doing something similar, I’d agree with one.💯
The US has not engaged in a war to increase its territory in centuries, if I’m not mistaken.🤷🏾‍♂️

The Lightning Count. It is the Arab world that behaves like Russia and Israel is like Ukraine defending itself. It is Russia that incited and armed Arabs to conduct a war against Israel and taught them world-wide propaganda against Israel. Looking at your comment, the propaganda is successful. The difference is that Israel learned a hard way to depend on itself in protection and Ukraine has just started this lesson. Please spare me from your reply: my mother tongues are Russian and Ukrainian, and I know what is happening in Ukraine and their atittude towards Israel, being in touch with my relatives and friends who are staying in Ukraine. Their main point is: the conflict is existential. Arabs don't accept the existence of Israel and Russia doesn' t accept the existence of Ukraine.

@@Miriwick, I think you mistake their missing why they should welcome you with them not wanting you to exist.🙄
Both Russia and Israel are engaged in wars to displace a people from their homeland. Even how you address them, “Arabs”, hints at your wish that THEY didn’t exist. THEY ARE PALESTINIANS. Israeli government has spends DECADES overseeing to slow torture and disenfranchisement of that people in THEIR region. The part that no amount of might will EVER cover is that they don’t have to accept Israel. Israel came to steal from them, and write them out of any chance of nationhood. Why would they accept that, when you yourself wouldn’t?🤦🏾‍♂️
To control Palestinians, they’ve become an Apartheid State, rather than being honest about what Israel REALLY is.😶

@@Miriwick, what Israel and Russia have in common is the fact that the rest of the civilized world don’t care what they two “recognize”.🙄
The similarities, WE recognize. It’s easy to not “recognize” someone when they have less power than you, and/or when they have something you want, or when your boot is on their neck.
