On the return leg of their Shake Down tour in their 4 x 4 SLRV Expedition Truck, Heather and Garry encounter treacherous logging tracks, amazing views and Garry puts his winching skills to the test.
I appreciate your excellent camara and editing skills, they provide a real 'travel along.' Excellent winch rigging Gary and I'm glad to see you're not using steel cable. I marvel at the tracks you can maneuver down and yup a chainsaw will be on your packing list lol. Blessings to you both.
Some people carry a chainsaw with them they also carry a brush cutter with an extension pole with a chainsaw implement to reach that highspots so your truck has clearance to get through
Just make sure when you're using your winch that the rope isn't spooling up in one spot if so you will have to pull out and wind it back on & guide it with your hands
Team D TOUR - love the content as something we are planning to do once our van is ready- heading down tracks away from the maddening crowd. What stunning scenery down these tracks.
Nice videos, guys! Discovered you by accident, but I'm glad I did! Nice rig! Audio could use a little improving....you guys are hard to understand sometimes.
I thought there was a sealed road to Barrington Tops? 😮Nothing like living on the edge. I bet the chainsaw will be the first thing packed when you head off again.😂
An electric chainsaw would have made it easy for you. Still need to have cameras set up out side to capture the excitement. Couple of Tripods will do the job. Ideal if more of terrain maneuvering and less of faces are in the video. Great adventures!
Thanks for sharing your expedition experiences. Learning alot from you guys. 🙏

electric chain saw should be standard accessories on the Commander mate

Maybe having a chainsaw would be a good idea 😂
I'm surprised that you did not use a axe or chain saw...
Portable chainsaw might help a lot.
a chainsaw will be the first thing to pack if i ever go on a trip like this one. beautifull places thanks for share
whats an adventure without some obstacles to tackle
thank god for fast forward
