When I was a kid, 14-15, I thought I understood a lot of physics, but mostly (only, I hate math) from a philosophical POV.
I always thought that ramjets always required constant air being forced in, and would quit running if stationary...
Pulse jets, they never really talked about in school...

Hey sehr cooles Modell. Ich baue derzeit an einer Turbinen Heinkel 162 und bin begeistert von deinem Fahrwerk. Wie hast du das gemacht mit dem Abwurffahrwerk?
Das Fahrwerk wird mit einem Stift am Rumpf unten fixiert und mit dem Flitsche Gummi noch gehalten, erst wenn der Zug nachlässt - fällt das Fahrwerk ab.

How thick is the stainless steel used for the pulso? 0.5mm seems fine to me.
How thick is the spring steel for the clapper?
What is the weight of the complete engine?

Hallo, ich habe kein plan, das ist eigene Design. Das blech ist 0.7mm dick, 0.5 ist zu dünn und reist dann. Ventil ist 0.3mm. Das Triebwerk wiegt 3.5 kg

Would you share the engine measurements? I had done a 140mm pulsejet about ten years ago... but it only pushed 8kg, I must have missed things.
I would like to start again but being sure that it works like yours this time.

Wie lässt sich der Volksjäger denn fliegen? Bin neugierig weil es sieht aus wie wenn das Prinzip ist ja ähnlich dem Starfighter.

Why a pulse jet instead of a turbine? This wasn't a pulse jet powered plane?
Pulsjets are easier to build.
