I'm fully caught up with Dandadan and I personally really love it. The art is phenomenal, the humour is good and the story and characters are very interesting and have me invested.
I wish we had more bookstores that had a big selection of manga in Australia like in the US and even the UK!! Most bookstores here only have one small shelf of manga and it's only very mainstream titles. The only way to get more obscure or not mainstream titles is online but it isn't the same. You're sooo lucky 🥲
I honestly felt the manga scene was horribly small here as well, im always in awe of how big it is US they have SOOO MUCH! It's getting better in the UK but prices are just going up too :(
@@lyddiemoon yeah I totally get you, I have no clue why the US's selection of manga is huge but the UK's and Aus's isn't nearly as big. Prices here have gone up as well D:
I remember the huge Waterstone store in the city (near Manchester) where I lived while studying in England….and looking back I thank God I wasn’t into manga at the time, as if I had I would’ve spent half my budget on mangas and ended up starving. 😂 I started reading Kaiju no. 8 online, but for some now-forgotten reason I dropped it so I didn’t care when it got an official local release….but lately I’ve been thinking of picking it up again - as I remember loving the series.
Oh yeah Waterstones would definitely rinse your back account 😂😂 especially as it’s mostly retail price 😱 Kaiju no 8 is so fun! I’ve been really enjoying it!
Just a suggestion, but Id say to try out the Hell's Paradise manga first before giving it a pass because I too watched the anime and found it to be ...meh. However, I read the series first and had a much more enjoyable experience.🤷🏻♀️ I also don't seem to be the only one who feels this way either. It appears a lot of those that enjoyed reading the manga were unimpressed with the anime adaptation. Just some food for thought

Up here in Canada, I feel your pain. I don't bother going to the stores, I rarely find anything I'm interested in

The cover alone for "The villainess and the demon knight" had me rushing to read it! A lovely manga haul ♡
