In TotK, we see Rauru's Spirit, but not Sonia's. Why is that? Was Sonia prevented from manifesting in the same way as Rauru due to her stone being stolen from her? I think what's going on here is Sonia, now finally able to manifest as a Spirit at the end of the game and can move on together with Rauru, it is her Recall ability working in tandem with Link's Recall ability, which was given to you by Zelda herself while in her human form. Using this reference point in time, by funneling both of their powers into your hand, they were able to create a Recall strong enough to reverse Zelda back into her original state. Sonia herself said it best. "You ask the object where it was, how it arrived where it is now, and then you coax it back to that original moment in time." The entire sequence in which you received Recall yourself has always stuck out to me as very strange and I think this could be the reason for that.

I thought it was simple. Sonia used her time magic amplified by Rauru's light magic channeled through link via Rauru's arm and Zelda's recall ability to reverse the flow of time on both Zelda and Link. Thus restoring them to a state before their transformations.

I mean, its not like its out of nowhere, at that moment theres 3 people with the recall ability, 2 or 3 of the stones, and one of the users is sonia, the ORIGINAL user of recall, i personally believe that recall ALWAYS had the ability to reverse an object back to its previous state, link just used it to move it back to its previous position because link is less experienced with the ability, sonia explains how recall works in one of the memories
I am pretty sure that they confirmed, at some point, that the next Zelda game wouldn't be a sequel to TotK. it would be a new story. But I could be wrong. But I know that they have confirmed this will not be the last Zelda game.
I really wanted him to keep the prosthetic. First of all, the arm is cool, second of all representation and third of all, it's a representation of how the story changed and affected Link. Idk for a story that focuses so heavily on a permanent decision, the ending really felt like everything is now as it was before, Zelda isn't even affected by her dragon time at all, so the least they could have done is left Link with the prosthetic
You have to consider that since they permanently killed Ganondorf, the forces of evil are mostly gone from Hyrule so he doesn't need the arm or the powers to help him anymore. Now while all this is true, I would also still prefer that he kept it.

I think it shouldn't have been fixed, but rauru needs his arm to move on, so I think either he should have eventually gotten a new prosthetic from sheika and zonai technology or just had a stump. Either way, zelda should have stayed a dragon and link should not have gotten his old arm back, and he likely could have settled down somewhat.
maybe im weird but i wish he actually lost the magic arm to return zelda to human, but in the process actually lose his arm for good and have an amputated stump. it would show a permanent scarcon his body and show how much he cares for zelda to the point of sacrificing his body part (after zelda sacrificed herself for so long)

Link's arm returning makes sense if you think about what actually happened to it. His arm was damaged from gloom, so when Ganondorf fully dies, his gloom disappears. That or links arm was slowly recovering throughout the game
Link’s hand also becomes a claw in the Link to the Past manga. The arm doesn’t get removed, but it keeps transforming back and forth, depending on how Link’s courage holds up.
What if they didn’t have the power of the triforce until ganondorf was defeated but when he was defeated the triforce became whole, was channeled through Sonia to use her time powers amplifying it enough to revert their bodies?

These are these individual powers compliment each other so when they actually used it in the old cut scene. When rau destroyed all the maducos, his power was amplified. But this time when they're actually using the power through link. He actually used his power to amplify Sonya's in reversing time, traversing the state of celta back to a human and reversing link arm back on to himself.
The use the time reversal power to undo Zelda's transformation and also to undo the damage of his arm. Time reversal was the first ability you get and it is the only way to undo the eating of the stone

Well with link being the present time Sage of time, and dracozelda being the queen of light (my theory), I think when Link destroyed demon dragon’s stone, he absorbed the secret stone that part of Sonia that’s inside that secret stone was able to project herself into existence and along with that, Rauru also able to project himself back into existence as Link had gathered enough power to heal himself (shrine hunting if it’s canon). Restoring Zelda back to human form is maybe the work Rauru and Sonia channeling their power through the already healed Link, and as for the arm, like I said, he’s already healed, he no longer needed Rauru’s arm to go on (as I believed when Rauru said he replaced Link’s arm with his own, he really meant he just covered Link’s arm with his spirit)
My Theory is that during the scene were there returning Zelda back to normal links arm is effected because he was the output of the power his arm may have been effected by the recall ability

No no no. Link never lost his arm. It was severely damaged, but Rauru's arm fused itself to Link's. It's consistent with how fuse mechanics work, too. When an object is fused, the base object gains properties of the fused object.
well link didn’t explicitly lose his arm, rather it was heavily infected with gloom so rarus arm was put over it to seal the gloom away and give him abilities but i think his real arm was still under there. you can see each time he gets a light of blessing the gloom from the arm dissipates a little bit, so it could be fair to say once gannon is defeated the gloom vanishes from his arm and it returns to normal. the kings arm isn’t physically connected to him but rather like spiritually implanted overtop it and so it fades away when the king moves on and zelda is just reversed with time magic or something
What I'm thinking is in Zelda has both time and light powers raru and Sonya use their powers of time and light to like extract the powers from Zelda's secret Stone and that's why she doesn't wear it when she's undraconifeid An since the secret stone is what turned into a dragon if they remove the powers from it it would undraconify her

Fair but theres also the incredibly obvious time and light magic. Not sure how light cpuld do very much other than simple resonance with Zelda, her having an affinity for light as well as being a royal descendant, but it could also potentially be used to control the overwhelming flow of magic in Zelda's body from the secret stone. Time magic on the other hand is just like superspeed, its greatest weakness is the writer. Time magic on its own could do anything from elemental magic to controlling individual objects like telekinesis. That could restore the arm and Zelda easily. They had a golden lazy excuse fall into their laps and they still didn't use it

Raurus light magic and Sonias Time magic together are basically OP, and with the two combined theyre able to recall both Link and Zelda.

I thought it was the both of them being powerful enough to control time magic stone thing to its full potential together to revert links arm to a timepireroud were it didn't get messed up. Also for zelda reverting the her transformed dragon form, to her time before she eats the tier stone.
May be good for others but for true builders this is torture that means in the future we can no longer build the most insane devices anymore
Totk has the best story in all of the zelda games and is probably the best game in the franchise

I just wish we had a proper ending with a postgame instead of it just looping
well link didn’t explicitly lose his arm, rather it was heavily infected with gloom so rarus arm was put over it to seal the gloom away and give him abilities but i think his real arm was still under there. you can see each time he gets a light of blessing the gloom from the arm dissipates a little bit, so it could be fair to say once gannon is defeated the gloom vanishes from his arm and it returns to normal.
the kings arm isn’t physically connected to him but rather like spiritually implanted overtop it and so it fades away when the king moves on
and zelda is just reversed with time magic or something
What I'm thinking is in Zelda has both time and light powers raru and Sonya use their powers of time and light to like extract the powers from Zelda's secret Stone and that's why she doesn't wear it when she's undraconifeid
An since the secret stone is what turned into a dragon if they remove the powers from it it would undraconify her
My opinion is that Gindorf took your arm, and since you destroyed him, you get your arm back because he’s the one who destroyed it
Maybe because one of the characters has time magic and used it to reverse his arm before it was destroyed
I honeslty think it would have been cooler if like kept his arm and that was the main source of his abilities in the future.

I always though they used strong time magic to rewind Zelda back before she ate the stone and the time magic also rewound Link to before he lost his arm

Tbh... i think that wild's arm didn't get cut off only contaminated with malace and rauru gave link his arm to his own arm could regenerate and heal on it's on time while link gets rid of the malace
I wish we had a somber ending tbh, coulda been the end of a timeline so they can add more branching timelines

No I think it’s because both of them had secret stones and divine power (Raru had light and Sonia had time)
They were able to use it to make his arm come back before it was damaged and bring Zelda back to human form
They gave him his arm back so they could make another sequel with a new gimmick 😂
Fair but theres also the incredibly obvious time and light magic. Not sure how light cpuld do very much other than simple resonance with Zelda, her having an affinity for light as well as being a royal descendant, but it could also potentially be used to control the overwhelming flow of magic in Zelda's body from the secret stone. Time magic on the other hand is just like superspeed, its greatest weakness is the writer. Time magic on its own could do anything from elemental magic to controlling individual objects like telekinesis. That could restore the arm and Zelda easily. They had a golden lazy excuse fall into their laps and they still didn't use it
