- Genshin Impact wouldn't give me the Mistsplitter Reforged, so I made it myself!
~~
3D printed and fitted with neopixels for a nice glowing effect. More in depth tutorials soon.

The 3D File I used: www.etsy.com/shop/RadicalDrea...
Since the above file is not for sale you can try:
surl.li/ccgrr
I have not used this myself - but have used different models from this maker. Always make sure to ask if you can edit files!

Good stuff. Sadly the music is way too loud so it is hard to actually hear you under it.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm still learning and I'll take note for next time. ^~^
This deserves more views
Thank you, that means a lot! ^~^
I can't believe this doesn't have more views, it looks incredible!
Awe, thank you so much! 🥰
It looks really great. Nice work! 💪🏼
Thank you so much! :)
Like, WOW, this is stunning, it's an amazing work. Congratulations and thanks for sharing the whole process with such quality and level of details. I've been recently looking forward to fabricate this kind of things, so this is very inspirational. Thx x2
Thank you! ^~^ Took me 2 years to figure this technique out without having a giant printer. 😅 I'll be doing more swords soon!
This is so badass!!!
Thank you ^^~
I just found your video, do you have another link to the files? neither of the ones in the description work
So coooool! What filament did you use and how much? I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
Transparent PLA filament! Not sure how much, but it really doesn't take much at all since the blade is hollow!
Curious to see how you do a sword usind a 3D model.
I also interest in modeling, and i practicing do 3D models.
Lets see what more can you bring. See ya
I mainly purchase the model and modify it to add LEDs. I do have a video going over Atoria's Excalibur and how I modified it! I'll be doing more though ^^~
What is the name of that sanding tool around 5:30 ? I see it in videos every now and then but no idea how to find it on Amazon
It's called a micro sander! Very useful and I definitely recommend it for sanding the harder to reach spots on prints! ^~^
This is great but the music is way to loud.
Which pins did you solder to the Poly backpack to the Pro Trinket?
I used a 3 pin header (they usually come with the backpack) and did USB -> BAT, G->G, 5V ->USB. One of my upcoming videos will be going over my new set-up as the trinket is sadly being deprecated. It sometimes has trouble connecting to newer laptops. >.
@@byteprops Thank you so much 👏
how much filament is consumed after printing all the parts ?
Not that much since most of the blade is hollow! ^^~
@@byteprops thank for the reply..^__^ cheers!
Watching this video make me thinking that bloodhound heirloom from apex would be cool to make just like this.
Oh that would look neat! Go for it! ^.^
how long does a battery like that last ?
About 4 hours non stop! You can do a calculation based on how many leds and how powerful your battery is to get an estimate. :D
Are you planning on releasing/selling the altered file?
Sorry, I did not make the files so I won't be selling them. I'll try and work with the modelers next time to get the LED versions added! ^.^
Is 3d printed props heavier than eva ones?
The mistsplitter is just under a pound in weight; so a foam one would be lighter. I had no problem carrying mine for 6ish hours at a con! You can adjust the settings of your 3D props to make them lighter.
@@byteprops i see thank you!
The Link is not working. Can u give me other links?
I added a different link to the description since the one I used is not available. Please just get permission to edit the files to add LEDs. ^~^
Sorry if you already answered this in the video and I just wasn't paying attention, but what filament do you use for the parts that light up?
Oh sorry, I did forget to mention! I use clear PLA for the blade parts and just any colour for the rest! I used opaque paint to stop the LEDs from shinning through all of the blade. :)
The design looks cool. And from what I can tell, visually, you go through the steps well. But, you can barely be heard through the music. It's very distracting. And makes what could be a potentially good tutorial, very poor. You should edit out the music.
Thank you for the feedback. This was the first video I ever edited and I'm still learning. We all start somewhere! ^~^ You can always mute the audio and read the captions if you need! :)
I was so happy when I found your video to as it was pretty hard to find an led tutorial for genshin weapons. Could you do one for Raiden Shogun’s sword the musou no hitotachi? Haven’t seen a tutorial like this for her sword yet 🥲
Thank you! The Musou no Hitatachi is pretty similar to the Mistsplitter! In fact, it is probably easier because you don't have to deal with the guard. I would just follow what I have done here. :) I have a few other Genshin and Demon slayer builds in the works right now, so i'd like to get those finished first. You can always DM me on IG if you need more help!
