Not to be overdramatic but I honestly feel like they created an opening where I cannot be sad when I listen to it. Im massively depressed but when I watch this I get immensely happy. I start remmebering my friends and all the connections I have, and I start to believe in things again.
Speaking of which, any games on the Vita to play? Some good games like Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss are $15 or less, but outside of that, there's not much more to offer.

I didn't even realize this version had a unique intro, but, while I think the PS2 intro was probably more thematic, I can't help but just love the retro TV vibe/visuals this has. The upbeat song and the funk video-esque colors going on are unforgettable.

It's funny. I have been wanting to play this for a decade, but I finally snapped less than a month ago. Downloaded a Vita emulator. Downloaded P4g. Setup my PS4 controller to work with my PC. Then went to work for the week. Was about to test it when out of nowhere the announcement happens that it will most likely be available on Steam within a week. What are the odds? So after my all that effort and a decade of waiting to play P4, I went and bought it on Steam anyway. Finally. My partner will be so happy too. He just finished P5 for the third time. So damn excited to finally sink my teeth into this game. Far too long have I waited.
The scary thing is that this shit fits so greatly with JoJo Part 4's OP: Great Days. And Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town.But that OP fits with everything that is a JoJo reference.AKA everything.
Lol I love how light hearted this intro is but when you look at SMT IV's intro it's looks like a horror movie it's so dark. Hard to think they're from the same series with all these aesthetic differences.
To me it is because this one is dark..but the undertones are what are dark..while the intros are very nice and lighthearted we know how dark it can get in the game itself. Everyone confronting their darkest selves, murder. I like the duality of the intros and the game itself.
P4 is also the most light hearted game in the smt franchise, while games like SMT 1, 2, and the Digital Devil Saga games I think are more dark and should get more attention, because P3 and 4 are hogging it all. They're really underrated and more people should give them a try. I'm playing SMT 1 right now and I'm really loving it. Its not for everyone though, which is why I think P3/4 get all the attention, because its a less hard more streamlined SMT and not nearly as hard as those.
Stupiddogcomics Not everyone enjoys hard games. I hate turn based, so when it is really hard old school I do not wanna play it. I do not care if the normal setting is hard but I enjoy that p4 came with an easy setting. It allows someone like me who hates turn based to better enjoy these games.

It'd just be nice to see them do more things with older SMT games, but since Persona 3/4 is more popular, its a lot less risky since not too many people know of older SMT games. Ok, it's official. This game has actually displaced Planescape: Torment as my favourite game of all time. I _never_ thought that any game would do that.
Planecape torment is freaking good but so is this i have 8 or so game that i really love, persona 4 / 3 , ff 8/8/9, mgs 3, planescape torment, sotc, resident evil 4 , kh 2 and deus ex. But yeah most of the days when someone ask me i will probably say nothing beats persona 4.
This is honestly one of my all time top 5 favorite games ever. Everything about this game is perfect. The soundtrack, the gameplay, even the graphics are great for a vita game.

I'm 8 hours into P4G on PC (I just finished P5R, which was my first Persona game, when it came out) and this intro is already nostalgic for me. P5R will always and forever be my favorite, but P4G is slowly climbing further and further up the list of my favorite games of all time.

This is honestly one of my all time top 5 favorite games ever. Everything about this game is perfect. The soundtrack, the gameplay, even the graphics are great for a vita game.

I'm 8 hours into P4G on PC (I just finished P5R, which was my first Persona game, when it came out) and this intro is already nostalgic for me. P5R will always and forever be my favorite, but P4G is slowly climbing further and further up the list of my favorite games of all time.

its preety cool beacuse since this starts when you boot up the game instead of having to wait a while in the title screen i would just let it roll everytime i played beacuse it was like the intro from an anime and i was just waiting for the episode to start so now i love this song :D
