No, her argument with Ben hasn't helped her cause in the slightest but I hardly think Lydia herself should be punished for withholding evidence! She didn't exactly force Liv to show her that footage so she was left with no choice and she didn't once accuse her of killing him. It's the bloody incompetence of the police that needs to be questioned. What on earth has happened to the murder weapon, the most crucial piece of evidence and one that contains a certain someone's fingerprints? Liv didn't once handle that during the argument and now it seems to have mysteriously vanished into thin air!

We know Sam used to be the biggest wimp out of all Dingles and now he's trying to make up for it by thinking he can be like Cain, the reality is even Jamie Tate would have snapped him like a twig unless he had back-up in a confrontation.

How come the cops haven't put Lydia in frame for murder also....she told everyone she saw Liv drunk that night, she found the phone in liv's pocket and then she phoned the police to get liv arrested. That puts her at the scene of the crime and sober, it suggests she might have planted the phone in Livs trousers and therefore gives credible reason and motivate to point the finger at Liv by calling the police Yes, we know neither of them did this- but from a cops perspective, Lydia should also be prime suspect. Then theres actual crime scene evidence....wheres the blood on Livs clothing or shoes, wheres the wine stains too. Liv was supposed to have dropped a bottle of wine previously to killing Ben. Then theres the matter of the CCTV being down. If she was as drunk as stated she would have been clumsy enough to leave finger prints on the computer that disabled the CCTV. I therefore conclude who ever is writing this soap- seriously hasnt done enough research into how crime scenes are investigated in real life. Bad story writing indeed.

Lydia broke the dingle code and as she been charged the family will cast out Lydia
