@@allusivturkeys respond to owls and crow calls and other calls as a defensive response, that’s what he’s talking about he’s not trying to call a turkey in with it 😂
Stood on the porch and played this “rally cry” and it only took 3 loops to bring the crows that I feed to my yard. I needed a way to call them in when I put out their breakfast… And it actually worked. Much appreciation for posting this!! ❤
Great video. I have a flock on my property that I've developed a relationship with. I was recently in the hospital so they didn't see me for a couple of weeks and I wasn't there to put food out for them either. When I got home and was strong enough to go out and feed them again, they didn't come to get the food right away, they started to make these noises that domesticated crows make when their owner gives them scratches on their neck. I took it to mean that they were happy to see me. They went on for about 10min making that sound.
I am with you 100% but opposite. I was in the hospital for a very long time and when I would go out to vape a pair of crows would fly on the power line above me. I would caw at them and they would caw back. Every 3 weeks since I was released I go for a check up and I'll go to the spot and caw a few times. People look at me funny, security has gotten used to me now. Within a few seconds both my buddies are right back to the same line. Now that I too am home and regaining my strength I'm making friends with the crows that live up on the hill. They are so great! Have you and the crows exchanged gifts yet? I hear they like shiny things. Tell me more about your birdie friends please. 😊
Wow, awesome talent. I feed my crows (well, not mine, nature's ) every morning and afternoon, but sometimes I'm a little late in the morning putting out there favorite food, Friskies Seafood Sensations dry cat food, and when I'm late and they have given up waiting on me, when I do finally get out to my back yard to put their food out, I need to try and get their attention to come eat. These sounds worked better than ANY natural crow sounds I had tried. In seconds, dozens of them were lining up on the power line waiting for me to go back inside and storm my patio latticework. Amazing job. Thank you. This is now saved on my phone screen and used daily.
@@Sartre_Existentialist Yes cat food is fine. I feed 4 crows at my house and I’ve found that their faves are high quality dog food and the roasted shell-on unsalted peanuts. Leftover chicken and pizza crusts always disappear fast too. ❤
I played this exact video in front of 20 crows, and all the crows went berserk and hovered around me just like the crows in this video it was truly a remarkable site to see. I’m assuming that since the crows repeated this same behavior as the crows in this video that this specific call is a emergency call
Awesome. I want one to communicate with the local "murder". 😂 Just one observation: the crow scientists say multiple "caws" in sequence is a threat. A territorial challenge. One long drawn out caw is the "dinner bell". What this man is doing is inviting a neighborhood rumble, but they chill out when they see he's serving dinner . 😂
I have some that started looking in my bedroom windows n power lines. So, set out some food on porch roof. Now, i put pranutss for them. They are fascinating. I recently losty dog and they were used to seeing both of us together.maybe this is why they are spying in the windows to see if the dog is inside. Im learning alot about them. Like a group of 5 or 6. Now, i got one small stick gift and a dime. They walk closer to see in better and stretch they're necks to see in better. So, I do the bobs and caw once. Good thing no neighbors near.
I love crows how can I make them come over all the time? I think I have actually created a routine for them every time the sprinklers come on I throw pieces of bread out into the yard and they know to come and get their bread. But if I forget about the sprinkler time and throwing the bread out and they won't come get their bread when I throw it out after the sprinkler time.
And while this guy is a master at his work, it breaks my heart that the majority of people using his crow calls, are hunters. To attract such a beautiful creature just to bring them in close for the kill is just so sad and heartbreaking to me. There will come a day when we , humans , wont hear the beautiful sounds or see the awesome sights of God's creatures because man will have caused their extinction. 😢
😂 who the heck is hunting crows? Besides, domestic hunters are not driving any animals into extinction, it’s quite the opposite. Some of the largest and most effective indigenous animal conservation groups are funded primarily by hunters. I understand your sentiment about loving animals, but I’m afraid you don’t know much about hunters. At least not hunters here in he States. It certainly may be true in other parts of the world though. I’ll give you that. Have a good day. 🍻
Not so sure about eating crow.. lol as matter of fact I wouldn't even encourage that. Lol. "Beautiful creatures" don't you mean, God's grocery store? 🤔🙄🤣 FYI that's why he put it there! Before you start getting biblical pick up a Bible! Lol.
The C-50 call I found online described it as "wood-turning", but it looks like you are blowing into it. Are you actually doing that? Faulks' website doesn't have this model anymore! :-(
I hope I can do this. Today was my first day. I put out peanuts and used the crow whistle, but I did not see any crows. I'm just going to do it everyday until it either works or I get sick of trying.
Any luck? My first day, i was getting sounds around me, finally got one flock of 5 to come fly over and glance at me, then nothing after that really. Ill keep trying too.
No, not with crows. In fact, I moved to Illinois several months ago, and until two days ago, I never heard or saw a crow, even going out around town looking for them. I have attracted songbirds though, and I'm enjoying them. I'm looking at my female cardinal. I think I"m naming the pair Jack and Jill. She female cardinal is the first bird here every morning. I'm going to go around town and go crow hunting again. @@kanenine5838

The crows he attracted are fish crows The call he is using is supposed to attract American crows
So how do i use this in conjunction with food to befriend them
