Vielen Dank für Dein Interesse an diesem Video. Diese Aufnahmen wurden von einem TV-Produktionsteam (und nicht von Polizisten) im Rahmen von Dreharbeiten für eine Fernsehreportage angefertigt. Wir haben die gesamte Aufnahme hier ungekürzt veröffentlicht, weil sich viele Menschen dafür interessieren, wie die Klickzahlen belegen. Wegen häufiger Nachfragen: Anrufer, die einen Unfall melden, machen häufig sehr ungenaue oder unzutreffende Angaben. Deshalb können die Leitstellen die Lage häufig nur sehr vage einschätzen und alarmieren dann unter Umständen mehr Einsatzkräfte oder empfehlen ihnen höhere Eile als dies eigentlich notwendig wäre.

+Jazoray they are housed right next to the highway, at the moment they leave their station ground you can see the gas station and rest area of the northbound lanes, but they had to get to the southbound lanes on the other side of the same highway, and since they are not right next to a normal onramp, they have to take a short detour to get onto the other side

there's a simple reason: many highway patrol stations are actually traffic police stations, which serve not just the highway, but also other surrounding roads, like federal or communal roads. It's the same thing in my city: the highway patrol station is located several blocks from the closest highway, but thus is also closer to another highway, and they serve some federal roads in the city as well. Cineo has uploaded another video where they are responding to I think it was a motorbike accident on a countryside road

wikki11 Nicht mit 80, aber wenn ein Einsatzfahrzeug an mir vorbeifährt, fahre ich möglichst weit am Rand (also, der jeweiligen Spur, links/rechts) weiter. Könnten ja noch mehr kommen. Das mach ich solange, bis ich an der Einsatzstelle vorbeikomme und/oder so lang nichts kam, das ich mir sicher sein kann das nichts mehr nachkommt. Ich meinte ja nur die mit meinem Kommentar, die möglichst weit in der Mitte stecken und immer 20 Minuten brauchen, um alles frei zu machen ( z.B. 8:20 ). Kann ja mal passieren das man dass übersieht oderso, aber wenn doch was ist (oder sein könnte), mache ich doch Platz und halten den auch.

In Sekunden ist eine neue Gase gebildet. Wohl gemerkt in der Situation wie im Video! Wo der Verkehr noch fließt. Im Stau ist es klar..

I love it how the Germans make room in the middle of the road, here in Holland police or ambulances always get stuck in left or right lane, it takes ages to get up front.

Here in the USA we are so touchy-feely there are no harsh consequences so we don’t care almost everyday I see police,Fire and ambulances waiting for drivers to get out of the way they don’t enforce the laws we spend more time trying to get around the laws and protest when we can’t my thought is if you don’t get out of the way as fast as possible you need to spend 30 days in jail no exceptions!!

Looks like they really take care of their roads. Really nice. I know they sure as hell don't take care of the roads in Missouri. And it looks like most of the drivers over there know how to react when emergency vehicles approach.
Most Germans complain about the road conditions and all the construction slowing down traffic at home, but everytime we are on vacation we get a reality check!
Same goes for the Trains. Germans love to complain about the trains always being late, while foreigners laugh about this, as they are used to much worth and don't understand it, as it is even an English saying "to be on time like a German train"

I used to live in Germany and not once have I ever seen single pothole! Not even on single lane country farm roads.
Oh jeez, you've had some luck there. German roads are pretty good overall, but in some place you'd be scared to drive a SUV due to the holes. But that goes mostly for streets that are used very rarely and not made for heavy traffic.

Every time I here a German bitching about the roads, I tell them to go on vacation in Italy. The superstrada (the toll free autobahn) has pot holes big enough that you can hide ppl in there.
(Also as I'm German I of course bitch about the roads aswell... and about construction all of the time! ;). )

I guess not - anyway despite driving w/o lights 'n sirens, one can still use the brain and move over once you see emergency lights behind you. In case of the police they often respond with lights only, sometimes even w/o lights

+Joseph War The broken down car had no German licence plate. Therefore the police hurried up, because you can also find videos here on YT with foreigner camping and grilling on the emergency lane. Just 4 weeks ago a have seen a belgian SUV driving backwards on the emergency lane, because he missed his exit.
This is esp. verry dangereous, because by driving backwards, the rear lights also turn to a white light and other driver could expect there a ghost driver and make also dangerous manouvers.

Bitte nicht, mein fünf Jahre alter Camcorder macht bessere Videos (und war genauso teuer). Die Bitraten von GoPros sind beschissen, sodass der Asphalt mal eben zu grauem Matsch verkommt. Und das wollen wir doch nicht in GTA :-)

Ich kann es einfach nicht verstehen wie man so abgelenkt sein kann das man weder Blaulicht , noch Martinshorn sieht oder hört . Und wenn sogar die Fahrzeuge vor mir nach Links oder rechts fahren und platz machen indem sie eine Rettungsgasse bilden sollte ich mir mal gedanken machen wieso die das tun und vielleicht mal in den Rückspiegel schauen

Da sieht man mal wieder, wie oft manche Menschen in den Rückspiegel schauen. Sehr selten. Aber sonst sehr schöne Aufnahmen. Mal ne interessante Perspektive.
+Throgrim STimmt schom, wobei es hier ja noch recht zügig voran ging. Mit LKWs wird das ganze etwas schwieriger. Ich verstehe nicht warum die Strafen so niedrig sind und warum man als PKW Führer keine regelmäßigen Nachprüfungen machen muss. Alle 5 Jahre einen Tag beim Fahrlehrer um die wichtigsten und/oder neuen Regeln zu vermitteln. Für meinen Steiger-Schein muss ich auch in 2 Jahren wieder hin.

Ich habe "manche" geschrieben. Bitte richtig lesen. Und da sind Einige dabei, die noch genügen Platz zum einscheren gehabt hätten. Im übrigen schaue ich sehr oft in den Rückspiegel, was wohl Einsatz bedingt noch so drin steckt.
Ich schau alle 5 Sekunden im Rueckspiegel um zu wissen das die Scheiss Bullen nicht um mich rumschwirren ...
I like this point of view video. We get to see how well drivers are paying attention to what is happening behind them. Most of the traffic saw them coming and steered to the side to let them by. But there were many that didn't give way until the police car was right behind them and even then it only took a second for them to notice and move aside. ..... I think there was too much backed up traffic for a single disabled car on the side of the road. Something else happened.
you never know if it was an actual accident on an active lane of traffic and if they moved onto the shoulder just some minutes before the police arrived on scene

For the guys talking about them not having their sirens on, they are on. The wind noise drowns it for the camera, though. And on top of that, they are directed to the front, so it's much quieter from behind.

Da schlafen ja einige auf der linken Spur, so oft, wie die Streifenwagen bremsen mussten.
manche Leute sind echt zu blöd oder zu ignorant um einen Einsatzfahrzeug platz zu machen. Gehört eindeutig mehr zur Anzeige gebracht. Und wenn einer meint, dass manche Leute überfordert sind mit der Situation, nur weil sich ein Einsatzfahrzeug nähert, dann ist das für mich ein Grund, den Herren oder die Dame zur Nachschulung zu schicken oder gleich den Schein zu nehmen. Nichts desto trotz ein schönes Video.
+Peter E. Ein bischen mehr "Musik" bei den Einsatzfahrzeugen hätte die Sache auch beschleunigt, da nicht jeder auf der Autobahn ständig in den Rückspiegel schaut, besonder wenn er auf der linken Seite im Verkehrsfluss schwimmt.
+Rick2010100 das sind die schlimmsten die links fahren und nicht in den Rückspiegel schauen! Ich bin viel auf der Autobahn unterwegs und schau alle paar Sekunden nach hinten und weiß dadurch immer was los ist, wie schnell der Hintermann fährt und ob ich in der nächsten Lücke Platz machen sollte.

Ich gucke selten in den Rückspiegel, da ich ein sehr schnelles Auto fahre und mich nur ganz selten einer überhohlt. Da sind meistens nur Schwachköpfe hinter mir, die sich dann durchnötigen wollen. Bei 180 machen die dann den großen Aufriss und ziehen später bei spätestens 230 auf die linke Bahn um mir Platz zu machen. Die meisten kommen mir da vor Junghirsche mit Balzgehabe.

Es ist aber auch nichts anders als Balzgehabe, ignorant alle anderen hinterher fahren zu lassen, nur weil du jetzt grad nur Lust auf 180km/h hast.
Hinter jdm wie dir, durfte ich mal 15km bei 170 hinterher fahren (wollte einfach mal wissen, wie lange man tatsächlich braucht, wenn man regelkonform dahinter bleibt). Dass ich da nun ausgerechnet eine Träne wie vmtl dich erwischen würde, konnte ja niemand ahnen. Und auch wenn meiner damals nur max. 240 lief... wenn ich die fahren möchte, muss auch jmd wie du Platz machen. Man darf mich dann gerne wieder jenseits der 240 überholen.

Der Verkehr erlaubt aber meistens nur 260-280 km/h. 330 km/h und mehr habe ich nur einmal in einer Nachtfahrt auf der A2 realisieren können wo ich von Gent nach Berlin fuhr und in nur 6 Stunden ankam.
Die für mich bessere Aufnahme macht die JVC Adixxion GC-XA2, was ich nie gedacht hätte, Danke für den Vergleich.

Da fehlen dann aber die Spezialeffekte, wie bei "Alarm für Cobra 11"
Ja, ein paar mehr Explosionen und Stunts würden das Video spannender machen, aber das könnt ihr ja dann in den nächsten Videos nachholen. Ich will richtig Action, Feuer, Rauch und Autos die da durch fliegen, weißt schon was ich meine.
Tieffliegende Hubschrauber nicht zu vergessen ;)

ihr revier ist die autobahn, ihre gegner lange autobahnzubringer, volle autobahnen und gestrandete autos...einsatz rund um die uhr für die männer von dorfrevier 12....
Jedes Nr.-Schild der Fahrer die nicht ausgewichen sind gehört gefilmt und anschließend n saftiger Strafzettel rausgeschickt.
Wenn jemand Auto fahren möchte dann hat er gefälligst auch immer Augen und Ohren offen zu halten für Blaulicht. Wenn man das net kann, hat man auf der Straße NIX verloren.

Kostet nur in Deutschland nichts. In Österreich klappts einwandfrei, kostet aber auch 3000 Euro wenn du da keine Rettungsgase bildest.
anscheinend hast du kein führerschein man kann halt nicht immer überall hingucken vorallem nicht in den Rückspiegel
und wenn du mal in solch einer Situation warst weist du sich das es stressig ist
und wenn dann noch keine lücke gefunden wird und hinten drengelen die polizisten sieht es halt so aus

Warum sollte man nicht in den Rückspiegel schauen können?
Ich hab noch in der Fahrschule gelernt, ca alle 5 Sek ein kurzer Blick in die Seiten/Rückspiegel.
Und wenn man die Spiegel ordentlich eingestellt hat, muss man nicht mal reinschauen, das Blaulicht sieht man auch aus den Augenwinkeln.
Ich hatte schon öfters Blaulicht hinter mir, das wurde nie stressig, ich hatte immer genug Zeit Platz zu machen. In der Stadt hört man sie i.d.R. lange bevor man sie sieht und auf der Landstasse/Autobahn sieht man sie lange bevor sie nah ran kommen.
Wenn man das Blaulicht erst bemerkt wenn die einem an der Stoßstange kleben, hat man irgendetwas falsch gemacht und wenn einen das stresst, sollte man den Führerschein besser abgeben

War wohl Sonntag; keine LKW unterwegs. Wäre das ein normaler Wochentag gewesen, hätte es überhaupt kein Durchkommen gegeben, da sehr viele LKW-Fahrer nach meiner Erfahrung keinen blassen Dunst von einer Rettungsgasse haben.

I wonder how many accidents actually happen to police cars. Probably not too many. I can imagine police car drivers to be highly trained beyond the standard drivers license.

Das Problem könnte auch sein, daß während der Zeit, die die hin benötigen, ein Auffahrunfall oder sowas passiert, da ja die Unfallstelle nicht gesichert ist und vielleicht ein Pikatchu auf der Fahrbahn ist und die Leute nicht schauen

They need to add yellow and red to the bubble gum machines. It'll help attract attention from the people ahead of you.
The blue only tends to blend in with the background at certain angles and lighting. Adding yellow and red would help avoid blind spots.
red? As if red wouldn't blend in with other lights, like tail lights on ever single vehicle: Blue hardly blends in at all, even on greater distance

Safety is my main concern. Some colors show up better in different surroundings and lighting, when others do not. :-)

I think it would make sense for the German police to improve their sirens and use more visible lightbars.
Clyde Donovan I mean it makes sense that they would have different tones like the police in the UK. Police can freely switch between 2, 3 or sometimes 4 tones depending on where they're driving as some tones bounce of buildings better than others etc.
I only ever hear the one siren.

getting out the way safer is better than just fast. but in new cars, the sound insulation is so good that if your radio is on. sirines can be hard to hear. and a lot of people don't regularly check there mirrors while driving. I see it all the time.
But one thing that I think that almost all emergency vehicles miss nowadays is lights that projects. Like a headlight would.. one thing is that the beacons are bright.. but they don't cast a lot of light very far. front mounted spotlights that makes bursts of blue light would be a great thing. imo.
Awareness is a thing that so many drivers miss, especially on the Autobahn. I drive without music therefore.

Seid ihr eventuell auch zu zweit vor Ort wegen der eigen Sicherung? Auf der Autobahn ist das ja etwas gefährlicher als auf ner gewöhnlichen Landstraße.. Also so kenn ich das bei uns beim Rettungsdienst. Wenn man zu zweit vor Ort ist wird sich so gestellt das es auch der eigen Absicherung dient wie bei euch jetzt hier. übrigens sinds klasse Aufnahmen!
Kleine Frage Wegerecht hat man doch laut Stvo §38 nur mit Blaulicht und Tonfolgeanlage oder?Das Blaulicht kann zur Absicherrung von Gefahrenstellen genutzt werden.

+feldstecher Das Fahrezueug hatte kein deutsches Kennzeichen (wie ich ohne Feldstecher aber mit 27" Monitor und hoher Auflösung erkennen konnte.
In manchen Ländern ist es üblich die Karre da stehen zu lassen wo sie Kaputt ging. Sofern der Notruf dann noch in einer fremden Sprache erfolgt und die Umstände und Situation nicht geklärt werden können, ist erst einmal höchste Eile geboten.
Ich habe auch schon liegengebliebene osteuropäische Autos auf der A2 gesehen, wo das Fahrzeug zwar auf dem Pannenstreifen stand, aber die Türen weit aufgerissen waren, weil es Sommer und warm war. Noch dazu sprangen die Kinder des Fahres dort wild umher.
BTW auf selbiger Autobahn habe ich auch schon in einem dickem Stau gesehen, daß ein Huhn sich sein Zuhause in dem grünen Mittelstreifen gesucht hatte. Wie es dort hinkam ist mir ein Rätsel, aber es hatte sich wohl mit seinem langen und schmalen Lebensraum arrangiert

Wenn du dir jetzt vorstellen musst dass hinter der Polizei ein Feuerwehrfahrzeug kommt, was ja "etwas" größer ist , kannst du dir vorstellen was es für Probleme gibt wenn die Leute nicht nach links fahren. Vielleicht gehen dadurch "nur" 5 Sekunden verloren durch abbremsen und beschleunigen , wenn das aber mehrere machen kommen schnell Minuten dazu, welche dann für den Verunfallten zur Gefahr werden.

naja, vielleicht dachten die Polizisten dass es ein Symbol für alle dort ist die dort stehen (Stichwort Rettungsgasse) . Die sehen ja auch dass die Polizei stehen bleibt und redet, bei einem Bußgeldbescheid würden die das nicht sehen. Ich denke auch dass es für so einen Bescheid zu wenig wäre, im Endeffekt würde er damit durchkommen dass die rechte spur frei war und die Polizei dort fahren konnte. Es wird in Deutschland sowieso zu wenig getan. In Österreich gab es eine Zeit lang einen Spot in der Werbung über die Rettungsgasse, wodurch sich das Verhalten auch gebessert hat, vielleicht würde es hier auch was bringen, aber naja, in unserer Werbung ist eh nur Platz für Interneterotikläden usw.....Ich könnte nicht mit dem Gedanken umgehen dass ich ein Rettungsmittel auf der Autobahn blockiert habe und jemand ums Leben kam, ich denke diesen Gedanken sollte man sich immer vor Augen halten.

I'm surprised people aren't moving over quicker. Traffic is light and there is a lot of room in that right lane for the drivers to give way to the emergency vehicles.
Near the end it started to work out.. Odd, but it seemed with more traffic people moved out of the way.

Left lane is for overtaking so you have to drive faster on the left than on the right, except in really heavy traffic (traffic jams)
With emergency vehicles (police, firefighters, etc) in medium traffic, it is different. If German drivers hear (lights aren't enough) the siren they have to make space right of the left lane (so between middle and left or left and right lane).
Reasoning for this is, that it is easier/faster, as you don't have to clear a whole lane, but mid and left lane just have to use the outer edge if their lane. Of course with light traffic they just clear the left lane.
according to federal traffic laws drivers are required to create an emergency vehicle passing lane between both driving lanes as soon as traffic backs up. This includes that they aren't supposed to sit in lane and wait until they notice an emergency vehicle approaching from behind.
Much smarter than trying to get civilians to move over into the right lane, that seemed much safer for both the civilians and emergency vehicle.
...pretty sure u guys got the coolest fleet of police cruisers in the world and the whole world knows u have most superior master engineers- in addition to a relatively superior civilized traffic understanding/perception/intuition/impression/interpretation. But apparently some drivers listen to music or radio in the car and with sirens that may easily be mistaken for an ice cream truck and emergency lights less effective than blitz in daylight...maybe the Response time could be reduced simply by switching to modern sirens produced later than when our old hero Aus Der Reihe Derrick had to keep Münchens lethal communities safer ; ) Massive jealousy even then- watching uniformed BMW's on television and old slow Volvo 240 in the streets...guessing Horst Tappert never envied his norwegian "colleagues" when he spend his vacation up here though.

When I lived in West Germany, Wurzburg used Mercedes' for taxis and Volkswagen Type 1's (bugs) for polizei cars. Of course, this was 43 years ago.

Not to hate but I think the European emergency service cars have awful sounding sirens! Based on tone and range the American sirens offer a wider range of pitch so more people can hear them better, Europeans are a simple high and low. Some people (old/young) hear better things at different pitches. Just my opinion.

funny, in most European countries we have pretty much all kinds of wail and yelp sirens...but some people think that there's hi-lo all over Europe :D
Btw: in countries like Germany wail and yelp sirens aren't allowed because none of them meet the acustic requirements to be used on our public roads!

kevin O I'm american, and I personally believe it depends on the type of vehicle. Fire engine sirens (Fed Qs) Are better because they allow a manual change of siren tone and are much more audible. But with wail sirens (the slow pitch change ones) I din't like, because I sometimes can't hear the lower part of the siren when I'm farther away from it.
yelp is currently being tested in certain areas, after the success in a test in hessen (accompanied by red flashlights). It is however exclusively to be used as "Stop Polizei" sign substitute as this has proven to be rather suboptimal.
sorry to say but I think that was a bit slow. I know what it feels like to go 125 mph and that seemed like that was maybe a top speed of 90 to 95. and passing those cars was reasonably safe. I just was waiting for a little crazy for me.
well, most of the time as they are driving in the left lane, the camera is only on the 2nd patrol car, you can't really see how traffic is acting in front of the 1st patrol car, but you see some vehicles not pulling over on time. Afterwards as they are splitting lanes, you don't drive as fast as you can, you just don't do that
looks like 160-240 kph to me.
As you can see in the end, there is no real emergency here, just a broken down car.
on the Autobahn this is an Emergency because stupid drivers dont pay much attention at the road because its a strait line and bam there was the broke down car so now you have 1-5 Injured People :D
