- This is a run of the Abrelshud raid on the Normal difficulty (at the time of upload, this is the highest level and most difficult encounter in Lost Ark). It includes all six phases and transitions, but no cutscenes.
My Sorceress is item level 1590 (max). Weapon quality 92, level 10 Jewels on her three main damage skills, 3x5 engravings, 4/6 level 2 set, all level 5 tripods, 18 awakening Esthers of Light card set, 2400 total stat. She is extremely close to the absolute ceiling for what a character can be right now.
I had the wrong skill in P1 (Lightning Bolt instead of Elemental React) and in P2 I forgot to Awakening Potion for the opening burst.

After 10 months of waiting, I finally got to raid this. Worth every minute. Most aesthetically legendary raid in the universe. Banger visuals and soundtrack. It's such a treat to experience this first hand. Difficulty is hard, but not 'rage uninstall' hard, it's perfect.

I've gotten used to using that in EU, as well. It's very useful . But not just blink, dashes in general help with that purpose

The music changes with the mechanics. While the mechanic lasts, that part of the music will repeat.
That's how I felt about 19:30 that gave me chills

When I start to feel like i will abandoning lost ark soon because of repeating the same content every week on 6 different characters. I watch this video, it motivates me and gives me goal to reach, thank you for this beautiful gameplay (omg this prologue and this 6th Gate, marvelous).

Hey! Thank you very much for such good content. May I ask two questions? I see a lot of crits on video, but i have no idea how to make it work without precise dagger / old-old-old argus crit set. Anything special? And which 5 engrv do you use?
They have bracelets, which gives more crit stats. Also there is a Wardancer in his party which gives 18% more crit. Probably that.

Mr Squibbley knows why everyone gushes over this raid and the development team not realizing that this is only this epic because they are Gamers too and know what we want to see because they do as well but honestly that music pumps me up with so much adrenaline that even if that sorceress set Mr Squibbley's hair on fire I don't think I would realize it.
This game is so insanely beautiful and well directed. Is this lady the final boss of the whole game or something, because this whole thing felt like the end of a single player game.
She is just one of the Demon Commanders, the final boss would be Kazeros which is their leader but isn't even in the game yet.

@@Dreamsyn I can't explain everything, but it depends on one's taste. Obviously, there is a difference in performance such as casting speed, but it doesn't matter much if you change the difference at will.

Holy mother of god, would you be able to provide us with roughly how many wipes this party had before learning all the mechanics? Can you do this boss by playing casually?
It would probably be difficult to do while staying casual. I haven't done this raid myself but watched a video breaking down all of the major mechanics and there is a TON of them.
it really depends on what your definition of "casual" is. If you log on once a week then probably no lmao. But even if you only play 10-20 minutes a day by the time this comes to global you can at least do normal diff with proper coordination and good mechanics. But because all gear is equalized, theoretically, as long as you have enough mechanical skill (and as long as your teammates don't int) you should be able to clear this dungeon.
However, imo its not worth it for casual players. If you try it, you're gonna die. A lot. It is the hardest dungeon after all, and honestly the rewards aren't even that amazing. All that effort for 2 legendary engraving books? Plenty of other abyssal raid dungeons offer legendary engraving books and don't destroy your sanity. The only thing really worth doing this for is the esther stone, as its one of the most consistent sources of esther stones for f2p's.
But honestly, if you're a casual player, you probably won't care about esther weapons anyway. They're for super-ultra-mega endgame whales who really have nothing else to do. They're garbage initially, and take a ridiculous amount of resources to become somewhat useable. If you want to max them out, expect to spend thousands of hours of grinding, all for a weapon that's 10% stronger in most cases than legendaries.
In essence, esther weapons are the polar opposite of casual. And the same can be said for this dungeon. To answer your question, yes, this can be cleared by casual players because all gear is equalized. But the amount of effort required makes it absolutely not worth it at all when there's so many better uses of your time (not just irl, but in lost ark itself). And that's by design. This isn't a dungeon made for casual f2p's. This is a dungeon made for whales who are bored of the game.

Well I spent like 5 hours with a friend of mine and randoms doing the last abyssal dungeon from the Tier-1 content -Hildebrandt Palace - against Brelshaza - this is what they called her in NA/EU and the fight was awesome! Did some wipes but the mechanics were really fun and it was a really satisfying experience! I really enjoy the game - but then again I took paid time off to sink my teeth into it and quite literally if I start spending so much time in there - my wife will kick me out of the house :D:D
Anyway.. I don't mind wiping gazillions of times - learning tactics without a guide - discussing them and pushing fights further with friends. This is part of the experience after all and what IMO makes the game special.
I really hope that one day to slowly and steadily get to the boss and defeat her. I wouldn't do it for the rewards that much - I would do it for the experience.
No you cant do this raid while playing less than 2 hours a day (which is casual imo). You also cant do it if you havent minmaxed your class and done everything else before it in order to learn the game..
i did this with pug groups (joining different ones each time) took me about 50-60 tries.

Why do you use lightning bolt here? No mention of this in your Maxroll.gg guide for igniter sorc?
Igniter goal is to dish out as much DPS as possible so I am very sure he's using All-Out Attack which gives her holding skills 20%, so that's why he went with lightning bolt. But it's probably a personal preference otherwise. I would rather go Rime since there's a few gaps of meter gain where he was constantly auto attacking
for me as a pleb that will probably never kill her this would be a million times more fun to watch if they didnt skip all the cutscenes. especially the one at the end was like WTF!!!

feels so intimidated by the vibe, and i play on NA server which even back then when i did first 8-man raids, just 1 fail somebody already wanna quit and the vote is just to continue, the guy just disconnected. that fear might stop me to aim to reach this dungeon and waiting for a good community
They Will adapt eventually, they have to if progress is what they want.
Why does the Sorc Awaken before raid?
To turn on the set option "nightmare". it inflict extra damage after using awaken
