Здесь нужен был артист не просто с необычным, гибким и пластичным голосом - нужен был артист с голосом, который сам по себе вызывает у вас ассоциации с дикой природой, с звуками знакомых нам природных явлений: ветер, шум деревьев, звук прибоя, голоса птиц и зверей. И вместе с этим создатели фильма получили артиста, умеющего убедительно озвучить не только дикую природу, но способного озвучить и другой мир, находящийся где-то в глубине этой природы, мир, скрытый от нас, мир загадочный, непознаваемый, одновременно и манящий - и пугающий. Этим талантам уникального артиста наконец-то нашли достойное применение - за пределами поп-музыки. Even when they met diana and chose her, at first, the director and producer were thinking of adding filter effects, but after they heard her voice, they used her original voice without any filter. The only thing they used was layering of her own voice

Мальчик потерялся ночью на льду озера Байкал.
У него нет сил и он лежит и замерзает.
Зимой, в сильный холод, чтобы не замерзнуть,
нужно непрерывно двигаться!
По преданиям озеро Байкал охраняет его дух.
Так вот этот дух видит замерзающего неподвижного
мальчика и решает спасти его.
Дух( в исполнении Дианы) предстает перед мальчиком
в образе его погибшей мамы и говорит мальчику,
что бы он двигался, иначе замерзнет насмерть!
Потом уже в образе духа Байкала, немного пугает
мальчика и он начинает двигаться- это его и спасает!
Наступает утро и мальчик выходит к берегу озера, там его и спасают взрослые, которые его ищут всю ночь!
The plot of this video is as follows:

To me it's feels like you staying in a dark, on the edge of the Universe and u turned your head back and u see just a darkness behind of you and somewhere below of u flashing a lights, which is gave u idea of presenting a life on a planet and u listening Diana's voice, so mystery, like a voice of the Universe. How could it be otherwise than that she sings the song about the spirit of Lake Baikal and of course also embodies it. The Buryat (indigenous people who live on Lake Baikal) sounds and rhythms fit perfectly with the theme of the film and Diana's voice. Her voice sounds warm, primal, mysterious, inexplicable, frightening, but also encouraging and comforting.
Diana's movements are like water, supple, fluid ... and her abrupt, attacking movements associate the frightening sounds of the lake's ice breaking (video below the comment).

Story of the film: Hoping to distract the boy from the loss of his mother, his father takes him to visit his grandfather for winter fishing. But they get caught in a snowstorm and get lost on the ice of the huge lake. The love and mysterious powers of Lake Baikal will help them overcome their grief and find each other. * Lake Baikal is a huge lake (seventh largest in the world) in Siberia in Russia near Mongolia and lies in a rift valley (growth approx. 2 cm/year). It is the deepest (1642 m/ 5387 ft) and oldest lake on earth (25 million years). It is over 620 km/385 miles long and is shaped like a giant crescent moon. In some places the lake is so wide (80 km) that you can no longer see the other shore.
The transparency and purity of the water is unique. Up to a depth of 40 m/131 ft one can see fish, green stones, plants. An incredibly rich and unique flora and fauna arose in and around Lake Baikal.
Baikal is also considered the largest freshwater reservoir in the world - its contents could supply all of humanity for 50 years. Over 300 rivers flow into the lake, but only one river, the Angara, originates from Lake Baikal.
People have lived in this area for more than 20,000 years and have believed in the powerful energy of the lake for thousands of years. Lake Baikal has always been one of the holiest places in Asia.
The local Buryats call “their” lake the “Sacred Sea”. One of the most famous personalities of Buryat descent was the Hollywood star Yul Brunner.
There are many legends surrounding Lake Baikal: a huge lightning bolt is said to have struck this part of the world and cut through the earth down to the groundwater. This water then flooded many valleys and mountains and became Lake Baikal.
