i remember the skin selling for 30k being a huge deal because that was an absurd amount, three years later skins are going for six figures
We’re reaching 7 figures for trades now, although not single skins, it’s absolutely insane. I remember back when I first started playing csgo and thinking that a crimson web knife could go for $2k was just ridiculous.

The fact that CS:GO's skin system is so in depth that with the proper math and items you can craft EXACT float values is pretty damn awesome.
Except for high floats :(
I don't know if I would say that the system is in depth. It's got some cool features for sure but its honestly quite basic in my opinion.

It's the worst skin system to ever fucking happen. Don't praise this predatory garbage.
I think it just rounds up all the floats of the items you trade in contract, so you just need to find on the market the right combination of floats that when rounded up it results in your desired number, buy them, make the contract and voila.
I don't play CSGO like I used to, but this channel is crack

How does this even work, like how do you figure out what tradeups to make to get a specific float?
I’m pretty sure the float of all the items come into account soo because of their low float the Dragonlore is low too
There are float calculators out there that can predict the float of the skin that would be crafted based on the input of items and their floats.
I think someone did the math few years ago about float value on what float you will get if the based on the float of the skins you use in trade up

It defines the wear of the skin. 1 being the worst, 0 being the best. Everything between is possible, some more likely, other less likely to happen. Floats with lower qualities are likely more to happen which explains the prices of the skin
