The fact that BBD’s drafted team has a grand total of 1 more homer than the 2023 Braves and 2019 Twins really shows how insane those line ups performed.

2021 Semien has to be a first round pick
Semien ranks about tenth since he has 6 HR over the third best option. He went late, but not a 1st rounder.

This was very fun with everyone taking it seriously. Some of the trivias have been kinda annoying with Jimmy and as much as I like him, Joez basically half trolling the videos.
This is absolutely hilarious, would love to see this with other divisions/stats - RBIs would be fun, Ks for hitters where you want big numbers would be fantastic

BBD's strategy worked for what he was trying to do: he won 4 of the five infield positions. Ultimately not effective in the game, since he was unable to turn in a solid outfield. Interesting case study in maximizing for the wrong goal.

This was a fantastic idea for a trivia game. Y'all are straight killing it lately on the content. Playing along, was proud of my myself for getting the Bag Papi best year, nabbed the good Soriano season, and if you don't use A-Rod at third, snuck a lucky Longoria 31 HR in 2011.
This was a lot of fun! I would love to see more content just like this. 🙂

Love these types of drafts! I’ve seen some other channels do a penalty for guessing the wrong year (like -10 and guess again) I like the stakes it adds for those guys who maybe only played a year with the team. Great video though, I hope there’s more to come!

As a Jays fan, I was thinking 2010 Bautista right after Judge was taken. After Bautista went, I began fixating on 2015 Donaldson. Good catch with Edwin, he somehow slipped my mind with all my brain power reminiscing on Donaldson’s MVP year.

2021 semien was the easy no Brainer choice for second, hit the most homers for a 2b in baseball history, I was surprised Donaldson wasn't chosen either

I think this would be cool to do not only limited to one division across the last 20ish years, but just the entire league last year, maybe with a 4th person to spread players out a bit more, but I get the format is kinda set on 3 players. Even with perfect knowledge, outside of the top few picks, there would be an interesting strategy as you dont necessarily want to pick the player with the most homeruns, but the player with the most homeruns over the next player at that position. And of course without perfect knowledge, youll have some fun off the wall guesses to make the game entertaining.

Feel like you should be given the players best year if you can't guess it but otherwise love this concept
Dang why just AL East? Do this video for each division! Also, if they guess the player but during a year where they were in another division they should have to move on from that player until their next turn and give someone else a chance to guess the correct year if they want
