And Marcus Williams was out there with 1 arm after the first game of the season and played pretty well. And let’s not forget that he was a ball hawk the year prior when he was healthy.
What exactly did the Chargers win with KA and MDub. As a Chargers fan, they are both 2 of my favorite WRs ever. IF Joshua Palmer can stay healthy all year, he can WR1.
I'm gonna be honest..I don't know if Palmer takes WR1 so easily. I think he's going to have to earn it. Don't get me wrong, he's always been THE backup we can count on. But somthing tells me QJ steps up, Rice may set some fire under EVERYONES ass, and McConkey goes crazy from the slot. I can see Rice and QJ being future WR1 and WR2 if QJ gets his hands right. You'll have two towers on the outsides and McConkey routing guys from the slot. Obviously we'll see how it plays out, but I see potential in that.
Chris Simms just proved how little he knows about the Ravens… Chuck Clark has been gone for going on 3 years now (replaced by All-Pro Kyle Hamilton) and he wasn’t even that good of a player when he was in Baltimore anyway lol
He had 89 tackles in 2022, 76 in 2021, and 91 in 2020. It’s actually you who knows nothing about the ravens

Chicago, Detroit, Eagles, Washington, Minnesota and yes even Atlanta have all improved themselves compared to where they were at the beginning of the draft.
Not just the Draft we talking about since the beginning of the offseason.
Bears clearly improved the most on paper, then Washington is clearly better as they were so bad. WSH could arguably have improved the most because of bad their roster was.
Washington top 4 draft picks I thought were good football players. Atlanta, I think they are better than their 7 win record was, but I hated their draft, R. Orhorhoro was a day 3 pick in my opinion, penix has little value this year, Trice is likely there only impact player they Drafted this year.
and yet none of them can hold a torch to any of the AFC Contenders. All those teams would go 0-4 just to the AFC North.
I think it’s a three way tie between Bears Titans & Texans. They all made spectacular moves. So did Eagles

Simms wasn't the only one. There were other analysts. One in particular was last year Panthers' QB coach, Josh McCowen, who evaluated Stroud QB1 before the draft. As a Buckeye, I was less surprised at how well CJ played his rookie year and more surprised at how bad Bryce played his rookie year.

The question is can the teams that look good on paper look good on the field . Houston, Tennessee,Atlanta,Washington had a great draft. Can the teams that bounce back after loosing so many main players. Baltimore, Buffalo even Pittsburgh because the ppl they added was qbs. Can burrow come back healthy and play like he did is a huge question?

I think Philly improved just by getting Barkley. If you watch his college highlights - I did a long time ago - you’ll see a truly great player. Now he was hamstrung as a Giant. I think the Eagles have enough talent so other teams can’t just concentrate on Saquan and you might see him bust open for big runs. He has really good hands too. Even though I’m no Eagles fan he should be fun to watch again.

AFC teams took a step back because they have elite quarterbacks making 50 million dollars. It’s expected. The Ravens, Bengals, Bills will all be in contention come late December.

While I think Buffalo made the right decision by ripping the band-aid off on a lot of those contracts, the national media is really downplaying the regression we should expect to see from the Bill's this year.
Thank you, I've been saying the same. Wise move to save draft capital up, and cap space, and trade off a good deal of age for youth, all while retaining a competitive roster at the end of the day. Not too bad. I see good things for Buffalo this year

Love ya Simms but idk about Baltimore take. Chuck Clark was with the Jets last year (had a season ending injury). Was fine without him. Biggest lost is Kevin Zeitler on the o line but they're replacements in house. Wiggins will be a star.
Biggest threat to Chiefs: Ravens, Bengals, Texans. Stroud and Burrow are different, have the supporting talent.

Uh first off? Houston won 10 games so do your research and second, they only needed a consistent qb to win games and they had a horrible Head Coach and Vice President that sunked them to begin with. The way they rebuilded and turned it around aggressively after a 3 win season before shows they're are ready and got the pieces they needed to be competitive team. Plus, Titans weren't really a threat when Texans and Colts were rebuilding so now y'all are back at the bottom where y'all belong

I’m a pretty big Josh Allen fan although I think he needs to get his Time-to-Throw (TT) number down. Now both he and Cousins are usually high 2.8s but for different reasons. Cousins is just not the quickest guy in the world and he doesn’t have the quickest release but at least Kirk’s disciplined about things. On the other hand Josh tries to make too much stuff happen and he extends plays too much I think. But if Josh Allen could become a more disciplined quarterback - drop back, hit his back foot, and let it rip - I think all of his stats would improve and he’d make fewer bone-headed mistakes. (There was a game against the Rams, I think the first Thursday kickoff game of the season a year or two ago, where Josh’s TT number was low-to-mid 2s. I think he was maybe around 2.4 perhaps. But he torched the Rams and I think the Bills trounced LA. I’d like to see more of that from Josh this year.)

When people think of who’s on the Ravens defense, they think Roquan + Hamilton. Simms forgot Chuck Clark was just smarter Geno Stone lol. Hamilton’s a top 3 safety at worst.
Most improved? Well, Chargers were 5-12 last year. And this offseason we got Harbaugh and a great draft. I’d say Chargers win the offseason this year. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Mike Williams missed 19 games in in 2 years, KA missed 11! These dudes act like they were out there all the time! Yeah KA had an awesome season but we needed change? What have we won? Nothing Nothing KA was there 11 years, the defense had a couple stars but we were top heavy with aging stars! We needed depth and we've gotten! That said ive been saying there were a ton of holes on this team, so theyve gotten some things straight ( the Ladd McConkey and Junior Colson picks are home runs)And those who think Alt won't be able to switch to RT are just slow! Dude went from TE to OT and bc a top 5 draft pick and arguably the best OL in college football!!Then there's Sewell and Lane Johnson both beasts and both did the move to RT no sweat! Alt will be no different!
Jets got a Superbowl caliber team now. Revamped OLine with stud tackles. Top 10 Defense just got better with Hassan Reddick, Kinlaw, and Chuck Clark coming in and everybody back. WR group much better with Wilson, Williams, Corley, and Lazard #4. Breece Hall gonna wreck havoc behind that OLine and with Rodgers' readings/audibles. Oh and that BAAAAAAD MAN!
