Scroll saw relief cutting technique

Relief cutting is a great way of using one piece of wood to create a
unique sign, This is another way to use your scroll saw in a new way.

Thanks for showing this type of scrolling Susan. You made it look easier than most. I haven't tried it yet, but I've been sitting on a sign design for a couple of years now for my little shop. I have a life-size Canada Goose flying type whirligig I'm trying to finish before the end of August. I also need to scroll out our 50th wedding love spoon so I can start carving on it this winter. That project will be a first attempt for me. I want to learn relief carving over the winter months when i have to shut down my little shop when it get too cold. I have three carving design I've designed to try. Enjoyed as always! Take care!
