    I have done the HIIT with great success. This is an excellent, no non-sense video. I am a 70-year-old male, recovering from a shoulder injury. The elliptical trainer along with the saltwater pool at my gym has been a God send.

      I’m a beginner and have an elliptical at home I did 15 min today with no levels just straight without and I didn’t do anything fast as I can barely finish 5 mins if I do a higher level or go too fast lol
      My goal is to do 15-20 min a day a few days a week then build up from there

    I love the elliptical machine workout. It gives whole body workout. Can burn double the calories. But in this gym is not soooo nice. It's very shaky.

    but if i'm burning on the elliptical 450 cals for 32 min with with a heart between 80-90% and avg heart rate of 82%, with 5 sets of intervals 7 days a week , i'd say i'm pretty good as it is?

      Yes :) I don't like exercising 7/7 or doing the same workout, but to each their own :) If it works for you, go for it. I would just include one rest day/ mobility/ flexibility to recover more, but listen to your body and do what gives you progress

      ​@@Fitnessdy i sorta have lots of rules, like 32 minutes, because i have 16 bars on my LCD, so each bar is 2 minutes, so it's easier for me to prepeare for the next "step".
      i have 5 sets of 3 steps of easy, medium and hard, easy i used for "recovery" where i sip water every 30 seconds, medium is for legs only, and hard is for legs and hands, so for one session i alternate all the time, each set i have to complete at least 2.7 km , so the entire session should be 13.5 km, the last 2 minutes are for cool down process

      @@Ohkeh640 good start, but even for a start, i would do some little variations even by one level up or down to give you a sense of something is changing..
