Wow I sang this when I was 16! I remember being in Japan and meeting the composer and singing on this song for "Blue Dragon". I thought I'd never find it!

Every once in a while I try to find a proper recording of this version of the song, but it seems they are all recordings of someone's Xbox playing it. Like the one I recorded myself.. Damn shame
I remember getting to this part of the story and just crying for an hour. As a child, most of the plot went over my head. This song clicked with me, and I still love it now

Despite hte rediculously cheesy generic Japanese RPG moments (Like Shu's obsession with not giving up, and the strange character dialogue body motions...), this game is AMAZING IMO, it's deep, engaging, and I feel in love with the characters =]
A whole 11 long years later but just thought I'd mention that I thought Shu was a decent protagonist. He seemed a very plain anime protagonist at first but his maturity arc was pretty good I thought. I liked how for most of the game he just wanted to kill Nene but by the end he didn't care as much for that he just wanted to save the world.
You have no idea how long I have been looking for the dub of this song (though I am in love with the original don't get me wrong). I got Blue Dragon in third grade. Third grade. I'm seventeen now. Eight years. Eight Fucking years. You sir. Saved my life. Thank you.
+Storm Darey (InfernoChicken) I got it in P3 or P4. Completed it a few months after getting it. I liked to play through it every now and then. My disc 1 and 2 broke so, I had my mum get me a new copy off of Amazon for last Christmas, all so I could play it again from the start! I'm 16 now and it feels so good to play strategically now and just kick poo snake ass!

I was in England when my dad bought the Xbox 360 and this game came with it it was the best and the very first console game I ever played and I found it amazing though it was long the eye pleasing scenery and the music was amazing in my 5 year old mind I’m 14 now but I still look back once and a while and play the game I’ve finished several times and basically know all the secrets it is such an underrated game but it’s the best rpg I’ve played so far I’m so glad I can relate with someone else on this

I agree this was my childhood
My brother, who was 7 years older than me, got me into this game when we were younger. He got me into a *lot* of the stuff I like. I found him dead from suicide in late 2017. Next February I will be the same age he was when he passed. I come back to this song often to remember my brother and have a little cry.

I hate how it is so low...I hate in the game that it would only play in the menu, so I would make excuses to play it...you know, change a skill there, equip a different accessory, or just change a shadow's class so I could just listen to this song...Thank You!!

I was about 17 years old when I played Blue Dragon (now I'm 29 years old), I kept playing that song and in the part of creating the ring I left it playing, although that part was only instrumental, it transmits too much, always makes me cry,

I listen the most aggresive heavy metal songs with shredding guitars, blast beat drums and screaming vocals, but somehow this song really hits me.

As i was reading the lyrics there was a spelling error. Instead of sea it spells sae.
if anyone feels like making a karaoke version of this i would be forever grateful i like singing along to this but the tone of the singer's voice against mine really bugs me since i sing it more so matching the Japanese versions tone softer and slightly quicker so it would be amazing if anyone feels like doing that

final boss kinda sucks, but game is fun and really long
He was too easy but the music might be the best final boss OST ever. Plus it was a solid twist.
