Hello ! So a few of you are upset about the cuts in my video and are saying I shouldn't need to do so for live performances . I am going to do a trial run for the next time I react to a live video. This video has a copyright claim for Murder Song and I Went Too Far. I believe if I showed the songs without cutting then I would have got a strike . However like I said I will test that for next time because some of you are saying certain video's might be ok. It's just knowing which ones ! Also anyone who get's annoyed with me talking to much , maybe find another reaction channel haha , i'm here to give my opinion not just watch . So grateful to everyone who has been taking a chance on me and are enjoying what I'm doing and also giving me amazing tips to help improve my channel in a supportive way !!! PLUS , one day I will make a patreon where I can make full videos(documentaries/concerts) with out cuts .
I have seen other reactors not even pause her live performances without a problem. They get so entranced they forget or can't bring themselves to do so. I fully understand why you do so though. Figuring out what you can and can't do on CZcams is challenging. I don't have a problem in how you are handling it but give it a try.

Aurora has said in interviews that she didn't actually realise she was moving when she performed until she saw a video of herself and it made her quite self-conscious at first as she felt it looked like she was having a seizure. But as time has gone on she has chosen to embrace it... and you can see in later performances when she's a bit older that it translates to pure enjoyment. :)

Apparently I can do some full live performances but on this video I got a copyright claim even with the cuts and talking , so if I didn’t talk or cut it would then be a copyright strike . Some people are saying that that might not happen on other videos which I will try soon . I only have 354 subs because I only started reaction videos under 3 weeks ago . Plus I’m just so happy when I gain any subs at all and the growth I’m getting I am so appreciative of because people believe in me and like what I have been doing and are helping me improve in places too . Hope that helps you see things from a different perspective . I’m new and learning still , copyright is the issue . Plus I’m here to analyse and give my opinion not just watch the video . ☺️

Don't worry, with Aurora you'll find hope where you least expect it, she's telling us that it's there, even in the darkest corners of anyones mind. Lucky is about finding that positivity and the answer yourself, that your actually lucky to be alive in both good and bad.
Fern - Aurora is not easy and her fans are not easy either. They have very high expectations of anyone who would choose to react to her. Her movements in "Murder Song" came from the frenetic anticipation of her death (mercy killing) while her movements in "Lucky" came from overcoming thoughts of suicide..."and I feel the light for the very first time, and I am lucky to be alive..." They are two diametrically different things :-)

She has also done some amazing covers eg. "Believer" (By Imagine Dragons) and "God is a woman" (By Ariana Grande) and some more! For the Ariana Grande cover, the band got only like an hour to prepare the performance if I remember correctly :o

When she arrived they said they'd also like her to do a cover of God is a Woman. She and her bandmates had less than an hour to work out an arrangement, practice a couple of times and then perform live on the radio. You can see her wonderful backing singer Silja Sol holding a piece of paper with the lyrics on it while they perform, it's all so new to them. Lovely reactions, both to these performances and the album. Can't wait to see you discovering more of her music, so that more performances become "available" to you. (Little point in recommending live versions of songs you haven't heard yet, so as to 'mess with' you journey, in my opinion.) But what I can recommend at this pooint is the live, stripped version of "Through the eyes of a child" (Vevo UK Lift). So lovely. Also, I get that you might want to not do reactions to music videos because it can be a hassle with copyright and stuff, but I certainly hope you would consider watcing them; she has some wonderful videos, and even though they can be very different from the way she moves and expresses herself on stage, they have a wonderful artistic quality in themselves. I would love to see Aurora do some movie acting, because she certainly has what it takes, in my opinion. Anyway, your wonderful, emotional and analytical reactions gets a very well-deserved sub!

I remember the first time I watched that Nobel Prize performance (along with Half The World Away) and I was so surprised at how good her voice sounded live. This girl is really talented, a true performer too. I'm glad you're taking your time with Twigs too, I was just about to make a comment suggesting you to listening to LP1 lol. It's kinda different, some people actually prefeer it over Magdalene. I don't, but to each their own hehe. I haven't seen a lot of her live performances, since her tour got cancelled because of Covid, but I think she has some for a Valentino runaway, she's wearing a beautiful costume outfit, and there's also a Mary Magdalene performance for TV, which is also great.

Right when she starts singing "I Went Too Far" I love how the camera zooms in on her hands in that one shot. Notice how _r e l a x e d_ her hands are.... There's like zero tension. I think that's one of her secrets as to why she's such a stunning live performer. She channels the song....and lets it overtake her body. Any tension...comes from the music, not from her literal muscles. Those are....loose and open and available. I'd be a fidgety tense wreck if I was on stage singing...
As people keep saying. Watching Aurora on stage (or in any setting really) is just infatuating (is that a word? LOL) Im an old retiree from Norway but this girl has woken me from my slow slumber. I dont like cliches but, this one is magical.

@@FernStone I am a bit late to this but i had to say it anyway. I absolutely adore the acoustic version of Murder song. The music video of it with butterflies is one of my all time favorites of her. That said I love and appreciate the studio version too. I listened to it first after I already knew what the song about. And knowing that the studio version gave me a different context for this song. The context that isn't better or worse then the other. Just different. It's not for casual listen "on the go" but in the right mood it hits my soul just right.

The studio version had an awesome electronic folk sound , which was very unique and turned the song into something way more light hearted , I felt . If you ever want to get knocked out by her range, you should watch 'Black Water Lillies' live from the Honda Stage. I literally watch it so often just to hear the last section of that performance, my gosh!

And when you have seen her without (or at least too subtle for me to notice) this seems very wrong. Like it isn't even her at all. She looks simultaneously older and younger than any other video, very strange. But I also realise that the "bulging eyes" she has sometimes would probably be mitigated by eyeliner. I do love her as she is, though

Yes , I have synesthesia 😁 I talked about it when reacting to the album , I must of forgot to say in this video ! Instead just jumped into talking about it without context ! Funnily enough I only became aware of it in my third year of university (3 years ago) , for a while I thought everyone saw colour , patterns and images in music ! But that is colors by association, based on lighting i have seen or clothing she has worn. I was just wondering if you gift gave you a deeper insight, that could be put into a color? My guess is that you don't have to cut the video, but pauses are of course completely OK in a reaction video.

@@FernStone I am a bit late to this but i had to say it anyway. I absolutely adore the acoustic version of Murder song. The music video of it with butterflies is one of my all time favorites of her.
That said I love and appreciate the studio version too. I listened to it first after I already knew what the song about. And knowing that the studio version gave me a different context for this song. The context that isn't better or worse then the other. Just different. It's not for casual listen "on the go" but in the right mood it hits my soul just right.
@@Averssem of course , so glad you said it . I totally understand . Plus some songs just hit us differently don’t they . The studio version had an awesome electronic folk sound , which was very unique and turned the song into something way more light hearted , I felt . However, it was a sound I’m not used to and I just am a darker soul at times and like the more emotional sound hahah ! Love to hear what people think !
If you ever want to get knocked out by her range, you should watch 'Black Water Lillies' live from the Honda Stage. I literally watch it so often just to hear the last section of that performance, my gosh!

Yes loved the video and can’t wait for the upcoming stuff. Weyes Blood (which might be pronounced “why’s” instead of “ways” but I’m not sure) is fantastic. 1) their videos are iconic and 2) both front row seat to earth and titanic rising are amazing albums

What a lovely thing to say ! I’m actually 4 hours away from London , I live in the south west ( Devon ) . However , Where I live , there is a bit of a mixture of accents . Some are very well spoken, some sound a bit more like farmers and some are somewhere in the middle 😃 hope that makes sense , it’s hard to explain accents hahaha

She looks simultaneously older and younger than any other video, very strange. But I also realise that the "bulging eyes" she has sometimes would probably be mitigated by eyeliner. I do love her as she is, though

Yes , I have synesthesia 😁 I talked about it when reacting to the album , I must of forgot to say in this video ! Instead just jumped into talking about it without context ! Funnily enough I only became aware of it in my third year of university (3 years ago) , for a while I thought everyone saw colour , patterns and images in music ! Thanks for asking and saying, if it wasn’t for people asking or telling me about synesthesia, I may have never have known I had it 🎵🎶

@@FernStone Well, since I don't have synesthesia, I only see the colors I see. I think of white, light blue, green, deep red. But that is colors by association, based on lighting i have seen or clothing she has worn. I was just wondering if you gift gave you a deeper insight, that could be put into a color? But I don't really know how it works.
@@Accolonian Well people have different versions like , words have colours or smells , mine is colour and patterns with music and sounds. Seeing a colour about a person is like seeing their aura , I would like to think I have that ability haha but it's definitely different to synesthesia although having synesthesia may help ! About the ending phrase : Yes! The song ended on the minor tonic. An interesting choice considering the song is kind of an anti-suicide anthem. I think the ending says that it's still gonna be hard sometimes, but you still have to hang on and the storm will pass.
