- Children’s University Swinburne is a Victorian-first pilot program designed to foster independent, fun and lifelong learning. And while they may be small in size, this next generation of STEM learners are making a big impact on their futures. Discover more about the program and hear from the first cohort of graduates.
What a great innovation! We all know that if children are not encouraged and supported at school to develop their skills and talent at an early age, it becomes progressively more difficult later in life to excel in those spheres. Thus a scheme like this to focus on children who have shown STEM inclinations and abilities while at school will reap rewards in terms of their likelihood of continuing their STEM interests and in terms of the further development of those skills at university and in their working careers. This is not to discourage late STEM starters by any means! We need you too! Congratulations to all concerned!
