I feel like they could definitely do it just depends on whether the fanbase care, which they should imo.. none of the main cast seem too busy, and they could essentially do what backstreet did..
I could see a situation where James is a one hit wonder that desperately needs clout and recognition again which could lead to him putting the group in unfortunate situations
Logan as a retired artist who went to medical school but doesn’t necessarily enjoy the life of a doctor and needs some excitement in life
Kendall is a unsigned lowkey indie artist who is still fairly popular with a tight core fan group who doesn’t really want to commit to a group because he doesn’t want to go mainstream and sing “fruity boy band songs” (basically Zayn)
Lastly Carlos who is just there for the ride after spending years of working odd jobs, probably make him homeless and have an arch where he lies to the group that he’s a rich restaurant owner when in reality he closes up for the restaurant and sleeps in the back room or his car

Gotta say i am really enjoying this new iteration of the show. Everybody seems to have grown up a lot in the almost 10 years between seasons. I especially appreciated how they mentioned Sam and where she is today off doing her own thing
Tbh I'm really surprised that Jerry didn't get Spencer. They just seem a lot alike with their craziness and uniqueness and quirky energy to me, but yeah, I can see him as Sam too.
