Linda Ronstadt, a Queen of Rock in the 70's, who performed to packed arenas, had five chart-topping albums in a row and appeared multiple times on Rolling Stone magazine was not inducted until 2014...twenty years after she was eligible. Reflected poorly on them, not Ms. Ronstadt!
I was shocked she wasn’t inducted at all. I thought she was in there with Sonny as a duo.
They disrespect every good band / solo singers. It’s Rock & Roll - not Hip Hop and rap or country!!!
She will probably be inducted in the next few years.

I think most of these famous people don't really look as themselves as being "famous". It's only the public that sees that because to them they've been themselves for most of their lives even when they weren't famous and when the world didn't know them. So I guess that's the best way I could explain it.

Cher doesn’t need the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to make herself special because I can tell she’s a hardworking woman that has struggles back her past, but now, she will always be legendary to all of us with her music, her movies, like Cher is a Icon for god’s sake, she’s the GOAT

i LOVE how confident and self aware cher is. she DID change music forever with Believe. she SHOULD be on the rock and roll hall of fame. cher really is a living legend - sis is a grammy, oscar, emmy and golden globe award winning artist. no one is doing it like her and no one ever will. she basically made singers want to try acting out and be taken seriously while doing it. sis has been successful for S E V E N decades. she’s an icon, she’s a legend and she IS the moment.
At 65 yrs of age I sympathize with Cher regarding dyslexia (words) and dyscalculia (numbers) back in the daythere was no name for it. You were lazy or just not applying yourself. There have been many studies that have proven people with dyslexia are very artistic and creative, excelling in those areas. I worked as a psych caseworker and then became an artist and now a writer. Yes, a writer.
When I worked in a marketing agency, one of the best writers we had was dislexic. She was amazing. Despite what people told her when she was younger, she kept writing and followed her passions.

Cher is amazing! She looks and sounds phenomenal! I've never seen anyone still look the same after 77 years. Her surgeon is a genius or , more likely, her health regimen is incredibly effective.
I am just in awe at how great Cher looks! You can say stuff like "oh it's plastic surgery, it's makeup, it's wigs blah blah blah." OK and she rocks it! Point being is that she looks great! I will say though, not gonna lie but I'm not too thrilled at the idea of a Mamma Mia 3. I feel like the sequel was enough. Maybe that's just me.
THANK YOU! for saying this because I'm so tired of always seeing people bring up her plastic surgery whenever someone says "she looks great". Because people don't realize that you ALSO have to have good genes in order to pull off the plastic surgery because a lot of celebs have had it before and it did not look really flattering on them so you need to have a good balanced diet, work out regularly and really take care of your skin as well! Plastic surgery isn't a magic fix and it doesn't always fix everything so kudos to her for STILL looking AMAZING after all those years!!!! Her aura seems youthful too! 🥰😇😊

I remember her saying so and even describing her daily quick (blitz-) routines in an interview -- when asked, one too many time, about her stunning looks... And, I also read sw that she even published her fitness routine on twitter (i wouldn't know, i don't x..)

I met Cher in 1968 at the Newport Pop Festival. She was shy and surrounded by fans, Sonny standing next to her. I squeezed my way through the crowd and handed her a necklace that my mother had given me. It was a small gold cross with a diamond in it. My mom was so disappointed in me for giving it away, but I just hope that Cher kept it.

100% agree, I love her new song, "DJ plays a Christmas song" is a amazing Christmas song, your going to be hearing it every single Christmas from now on! Kelly Clarkson's "Underneath the Tree" is also a great Christmas song too, I love both of them. I have DJ plays a Christmas song on my driving playlist and love it every single time I hear it!

I think Cher actually came up with one good Christmas song after years of trying then just phoned in the rest of the album because none of the other songs is even close to “DJ”’ in beat and catchy ness.

I love this so much. I learned more about Cher, whom is one of my absolute favourite artists (she was literally #1 on my Spotify Wrapped two years running, 0.05% of her top listeners lol). And I love her Christmas Album. And thanks to The Kelly Clarkson show for having people on I love so much. This and the Alanis interview a bit ago were both so amazing to see.
