Pride 2023: Toronto’s LGBTQ2+ community celebrates in Canada’s largest parade

- Massive crowds thronged the streets of Toronto on Sunday to take part in Canada’s largest Pride parade.
Torontonians came out in huge numbers to show their support for the LGBTQ2+ community, which has faced a growing number of threats and witnessed attacks on long-sought rights in recent months.
The contentious climate has prompted Pride event planners to significantly step up security efforts. As a result Pride Toronto said it had spent twice as much money on policing for the event than in 2022.

One day to remember fallen soldiers, a whole month to celebrate someone's bedroom preferences. 🤔
If only Canada's warm and fuzzy culture of celebration reduced its national debt or produced more affordable housing or shortened the wait-list for surgery. Bring it on! Lets have a "Bald-headed old men with hemorrhoids" Pride Day. Better yet, let us have a "People who work hard, behave responsibly and pay taxes" Pride Day.

It's unbelievable, here in Burlington and Oakville Ontario Canada, our shopping malls have huge pride displays. Even going into July they are still there. Burlington Centre, didn't even have a Canada Day display anywhere only the pride display! Unbelievable! I will boycott malls, companies that continue to push this agenda in my face and on our families. Enough is enough.
People are forgetting the value of boundaries and respect should keep their own opinions to themselves and stop trying to weapon it

This is something that should not be celebrated. Freedom of choice is all fine and good but, celebrating this is absurd. I don’t need my sexuality celebrated nor, should you.
