Haast eagle used to live in the South Island of New Zealand and it’s extinct why it went extinct cuz it’s main prey the moa birds went extinct cuz humans hunted the moas cuz Haast eagle hunted the humans then they arrived. They went extinct at the same time as the moa. I knew all that information cuz I live in New Zealand.

It makes sense for the legs to dangle so it doesn’t have to move it’s legs much to catch prey.

Yes it had a wingspan of 3 metres which is from the scelling of a bungalow house to the floor of a bungalow house.
