Jenny, you can't pursue legal action, there is by law a 90 day probation period for any job in the US, they decided you were not a good fit for the job, for whatever reason, you have no damages you can prove either and the fact you were in Mexico makes it even more complicated, no way any lawyer would take your case ... the boy needs to get a shoe shine box and start working right away! .. move on and stop being such a loser, get another job, don't feel so entitled, you're in Mexico for Christ sake, over there if you don't work you don't eat! ... you want to live like Americans without working, and in Mexico ... SMH!
I think y’all need to give yourselves some real grace right now and not make any sudden decisions. Time to put two heads together calmly and rest easy things will come together for y’all soon, but right now, grace, grace, grace. Be well you two ❤❤
I moved once for a job, spent lots of money in the move, bought all new furniture etc and it didn't work out. All I can say is be kind to yourself, acknowledge and mourn the loss and clarity will come. You guys will be okay and will figure it out!
My heart hurts for you Jenny but please remember you did not lose this job. The job lost you. Every single time I’ve lost a job, something hugely better came to fill the void. For now, do the things that make you smile and feel peace. The answers will pop up at the perfect time
When I had just turned 50, I was a widower with an 8 year old. I was laid off and frankly scared, didn't know how best to continue in the Health care industry. You are a crossroads as I was and the not knowing how its going to turn out is the scary part. That was 7 years ago for me. God put a beautiful woman in my life and in June we will be adding a 4th member to our family. I'm at a hospital with 2000 employees and proud to say I was Employee of the year in 2023. You have each other and the King of the Universe is calling the shots. God has you. You will be fine of that I am sure. Two talented people who love each other and trusting in God you will not fail. Praying for you here in Vestavia Hills, Alabama today. Cheers!!
Wow, I'm glad that you are doing well now despite that tough time 7 years ago. We don't usually mind not knowing what's' next. It's the "plan we had has suddenly changed because someone pulled the rug out from under us" that has us shook. We truly are lucky to have each other ❤️ thanks so much for your kind comment and prayers 🫶🏽
This phrase is true but what is often left out of this phrase is that in between one door closing and another opening is a hallway. Don't let the hallway scare you, let it be a time of reflection to allow your true desires come to the surface. Then when that other door opens you will know if you indeed should walk through. I have been in a very similar place to where you are now. You got this!
Jenny keep your head up! Just so you know i can feel your love for education through all yalls amazing videos. I have learned so much from you guys and can not wait for our family to relocate to Mexico. We leave our home state of Texas in May of this year. Let me just tell you this. I am thrilled to be moving to 🇲🇽 after following you guys. Learning something new about our home country is always exciting for me. Whatever you end up doing next your going to rock it my darlin! Muchas gracias por todos sus videos tan lindos. Love you both!❤ Dios los bendiga.❤️🙏🏼🌻
@MaryHernandez-ou5iz Wow, thank you so much for your kind words! 🥹❤️ What part of Mexico are you moving to? Are you moving with your parents or do you have kids? Sorry to ask such personal questions lol but I'm so happy that you are making this move and wish you the absolute best quality of life, health and happiness ❤️🇲🇽
Watching your coverage of Six Flags in Mexico was a blast. It's so cool to see how they keep the festive spirit alive with Christmas decorations, even in January. The way you highlighted the park's resemblance to different parts of Mexico was fascinating and now I'm super curious about Six Flags in other countries and how they differ. On a more personal note, we're really sorry to hear about your job situation. We can relate to that feeling of uncertainty and the challenge of balancing CZcams with life's ups and downs. Back in 2021, we faced our own set of challenges - Martin had just moved to the USA, I was demoted at work amidst the chaos of COVID in the travel industry, and our channel was struggling. Looking back, it's a wonder how we made it through, but maintaining a positive attitude really helped us push through. We've learned that every curveball life throws at us eventually leads to something amazing. For instance, just last year Martin lost his job and it seemed like a setback at the time, but it led to an even better opportunity we wouldn't have explored otherwise. It's tough to lose a job, but your positive outlook is inspiring. Trust me, in a few months, you'll see the bigger picture and why the universe guided you this way. Keep up the great work and stay positive - amazing things are on the horizon for you!
@TouristtoLocal muchas gracias amigos 🙏🏽 You always know just what to say, Juliana! I'm sure I've said this before but you two are a huge inspiration to us in so many ways. I'm glad that Martin ended up in something better! Someone else in the comments said "rejection is redirection" and I definitely think that's what this is. It's heartbreaking that my supposed "dream job" turned out to be nothing close to it and then taken away from me when I tried to advocate for myself. We're definitely feeling more positive these days, over 3 weeks later, and looking forward to what the future may bring ✨ Also, we've decided we're sticking to our lease, so you have until August to visit us in CDMX! Aquí tienen su casa, se quedan con nosotros. Let us know if you can squeeze in a quick weekend visit sometime 🤗
Fuerza Jenny y Kevin! So sorry this happened. I know it can feel defeating, but this is also redirection. Better things are coming! Don’t let others dim your adventurous spirits! This is part of journey. What’s the saying…”A ship at harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are for.” I’m sure you will make the right decision once the dust settles and your mind is more clear from the shock of it all. Sigan echándole ganas!
Late view here. Im catching up on all your videos! Jenny, my heart goes out to you. Im choked up just watching...the promise of something and the disappointment that comes with it when it doesnt work out. You both are so talented and you have each other. I admire your ambition, positivity, and ganas about everything. God will provide! ¡Sí, se puede! Much amor y cariño from a Chicana teacher in L.A.❤
I appreciate your kind words, maestra. There were many red flags in this situation from the beginning but I was so determined to make it work. I saw it as a new challenge in my career and it turned out to be worse than I thought. I feel quite jaded by it all and don’t have the desire to work in int’l higher ed for the foreseeable future. I’ve decided to focus on sharing my love of Mexico with the world for now. Agradezco mucho el ánimo que me mandas 💚 Thanks so much for catching up on our videos 🫶🏻🥰
Kevin, Batman did you dirty! I had to chuckle at your mom’s solution to try and get you on the ride. God Bless her. Hugs Jenny. This too shall pass. Praying for both of you. Always.
I follow many influencers that work remote jobs from US companies in Mexico. You are educated and have a good head on your shoulders ❤you will come out stronger
I'm sorry hon, you look so hurt! Blessing come in disguise and I do think this is a blessing. I felt like you guys didn't really vibe with Mexico city. Maybe go back to Puerto Escondido and make that your base to Eat Baila Travel! I feel like your body needs the peace and tranquility of a beach town to continue healing. Much love to you both
I agree that this is a blessing in disguise. A bit of a blow, but still a blessing. We still have our lease here in CDMX so we're going to make the best of our time here for a few more months before we move on and see what's next! Thanks so much for your kind comment 🫶🏽
Been there twice, it is not pretty, personally ptr emotionally. I am now retired and at the last leg to my move to Querétaro from Arlington, TX this summer. Hope you guys can find a path to your goals, you are young and savy; and you know what you want, do not let anything or anyone change that. Look forward and drive through!❤
I’ve been where you are and know the confusion and overwhelm you must be feeling. I’m so sorry. you guys will absolutely land on your feet and probably in an even better situation, but it sucks so much that you have to go through all of this to get to that point. you have a couple of cheerleaders here, and if there’s any way we can help out, we’re here for you. ❤
Sorry to hear about the new job. You guys are a classy couple with a bright future. The good thing is that you have each other and will figure out the right next move. This might be a sign for you to explore something else. I've been there myself and each time a door closed, God opened another (better) one! Love your channel and hope to meet you guys one day!
Jenny, sorry to hear about the loss of your job. 😢 I hope you are gentle on yourself during this time (taking time to mourn the loss) and do what’s best for you in this next step. Prayers for you. 🙏🏼
Thank you, Hannah. This happened 3 weeks ago so I've definitely been taking the time to move through the emotions. This week I'm getting back to my groove and getting ready to do what I need to do to defend myself.
I am so sorry guys! 😞 I am seeing this weeks later and hope you are feeling better! I think this job would of eventually caused more problems down the road had this of not happened. Often it’s the people who don’t know how to run things and cause trouble for everyone. You are WAY too valuable Jenny! Getting to know you both these years, I I just don’t think the journey is over yet and can’t wait to see what’s next ❤ On another note Jenny, what is the name of your health condition? I also get muscle contractions when nervous and it’s been getting worse. Even if I move or sit a certain way.
Hey Marcie, thanks so much for your kind words 🙏🏽 you’re right, it’s definitely not over yet! I have fibromyalgia, which is a musculoskeletal chronic pain condition with no known cause or defined treatment. It’s thought to be related to the nervous system, or autoimmune.. there are still many unknowns for it. But for me it’s triggered by stress, good and bad stress. If you suspect issues like that I’d recommend consulting a rheumatologist.
Well that sucks, I am sending both of you a big hug. We all go through tough times and while it may not seem like it now, you will be the better for it. Best of luck and please keep sharing your wonderful videos.
Life is hard and sometimes it hits you right on the kisser! Right? But don't lose hope, there's always a window... New opportunities will arrive, you'll see, I came to the states on a huntch and been living here for the past 25 years! LOL I'm dying to go back to mi México lindo, and you guys and Maddie have given me so many reasons to start looking to go back, I'm strongly thinking about Querétaro because of you! I think I want to be an expat back in my own country...? Clear your heads, clear your minds, the light is at the end of the tunnel, hang in there, or move back to Querétaro!! 🙌 Good luck!
Life is a beach 🏖️ 🤬 😆 but you’re right, just gotta keep our eyes peeled for the next opportunity! Who knows, maybe we’ll see you around in Queretaro someday 😁
Thank you for taking us to 6 Flags with you. Who knew Mexico had one!. Sorry to hear that about the unexpected news. Please have faith that when one door closes and even better one opens. Chin up...better things are to come!
Im so sorry things didn’t work out at your job as I knew you were very excited and you made so many changes based on the fact that you would be working there. Don’t lose faith as I know something better and everything will turn out well for you guys. Keep your chin up, and remember that tough times don’t last forever. Sending hugs and good vibes to you.
Mama, that job is not making or breaking you. The educational field is so vast and you have youth on your side. Go through your emotions, because it's important....but then be done with it. So much opportunity ahead of you, mama, you just can't see it yet. That's where your faith is going to have to step in. Faith in yourself and keeping a positive attitude. Just be patient, it will happen but not in the way you expect. Sending you and Kevin all my positive vibes.
Hi guys! What a fun day at Six Flags, thanks for showing us around! Don’t be deterred Jenny, you have so much talent, I’m sure you’ll get over this bump quickly. I appreciate you sharing with us and wish you the very best, love your content!
In spite of your setback, you went out and created great content. I have followed you guys for over a year and feel like I know you. You are part of my own Mexican journey. I really have no advice for you except keep putting one foot in front of the other. It breaks my heart to see you so disappointed. Un abrazo para los dos.
So sorry to hear it did not worked out, hope that there is a good resolution. Like many said, I am sure there are better plans in store for you, who knows maybe we get to neighbors in Queretaro one day. Hugs to both of you, so nice to see you guys doing this video and enjoying some time off.
Thanks for sharing your story Jenny. I can’t tell you what is right for you to do. I do think you could make some great content in Mexico City which is one of the most underrated cities in the world. But I get it, the city is a lot. I think a lot of companies would be very lucky to have you representing them in Mexico. Fun video, and Kevin, those baskets are rigged!
Jenny I am so sorry to hear that. If you had continued in that environment not knowing what you know now....could it have been a lot worse? The universe works in mysterious ways & it has your back just have faith. You will go where you both need to go. I am just so glad it wasn't really bad news if you get what I mean. Take some time out & sit in silence....ask your inner self for guidance & it will come though it may not be straight away. Sending big hugs your way. Remember you have got this, you both have got this far & amazing things could be around the corner🤗🤗🤗❤
8:22 Aint No Way! LOL! I knew when they were walking towards that ride and looking up at it that it was NOT the ride for me! And then the look on Jenni's face! That confirmed it!
Haha that’d be a cool idea except for the fact that we still don’t know the city very well! 😅 it’s so big and we didn’t have time to explore before but maybe now.. 🤔
@@EatBailaTravel you know what. I think giving short guided tours would be great. You both are bilingual and come across as very trustworthy. As an American myself I'd feel so comfy talking a nice walk / tour with you! And let's be honest, Mexico doesn't get the best press here in the US, so Gringos would pay $ to have a personal guide 😂. There's a guy on Instagram that gives people tours of the markets in Tepito and another one that will help Gringos out to navigate the sky cable cars. Good luck !!!! I know everything will work out!
I had no idea that there was a Six Flags in Mexico, how cool! Dr. Simi is everywhere, lol. Jenny, I'm so sorry for whatever happened with your job, I know you didn't deserve it. Things happen for a reason and I believe that you were meant for something better than that job offered and in the long run leaving the university will be a blessing for you! Hang tough! I can't suggest what you should do now, the two of you need to figure it out because only you know what is best for you ❣
I really liked the Six Flags down there. Good smooth coasters hardly any wait time and it's not crazy crazy busy. Oh and it's freaking clean! Unlike a lot of American places.
Have faith it will work out for you guys what ever you decide to do , your brother told us once” Dios aprieta pero no ora “ and that gave us hope and look at us now we are in a way better place then that day.. si puedes! Love ya 🤗😘
God works in strange ways... remember God closes one door and opens a better one....he takes care of you!! Break the lease and continue your life.. We love you guys! Jose and Lynda..Dgo Dgo
@SethyLyn03 I appreciate your kind words! God, Life, the Universe.. whatever we call it we all refer to the same higher power. No mocking here. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs 🙂
Well, you haven't spent the last 22 years studying the Bible and abiding in Christ like I have, you got your ideas about God from watching TV or Oprah probably. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ”Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.@@EatBailaTravel
Lol yes life is a roller coaster ❤ we need to visit this park. Those prices are very high. The height story was cute Kevin.❤ so sorry about the job, I could see the passion in your face as you told the story, you were making me tear up. 😂 Chin up friends you're a smart young couple with your whole life ahead of you. (Cheesy statement) 😂
Oof, that sucks. But I'm feeling like things will work out positively in the end. If it were me, I would assess the number of other job opportunities in CDMX. If there are good options, stay, apply, and complete the lease. If there aren't too many in your field, calculate cost to break the lease and move to a more affordable location vs staying in the city for the contracted time. Go with what feels right. So sorry this happened, but you will come out of this a stronger person.
No such thing as Winter in Mexico, Kevin. It's some Summer in Mexico. There is a dry summer, a nice summer, and a wet summer. Enjoy life your young. Always follow your heart. Something heartbreak leads to better experiences.
Thanks for letting me know. :) Hope she is enjoying her job there! If you feel to share more about why Xelapa, I'd be grateful as I'm considering there myself, although I have yet to visit. There really isn't much current info on Xelapa online. The mozzies weren't awful everywhere were they?Did folks say they still got enough sunshine even with the daily showers? No issues with mold in the homes? Salsa dancing scene there? Friendly locals? @@EatBailaTravel best to you both! Abrazos
You have now become REAL Mexicans! As a Mexican, I say this with a kind heart. Each day, for most of the population, the fight is real for even the most basic needs. Mexicans have heart and are true "Luchadores" who create, fight on, find a way, do whatever it takes, to get paid. Lose one job, you get another or you create one. One dream is crushed, you dream on and move on. Be nervous. Be upset. But...Be Mexican! Fight. Create an income. There is no 10 count for a Mexican. We get up and we go on. You got this.
Lol I appreciate the motivation though I will add that we grew up near the poverty line, one of us well-below it for a majority of our lives, before we climbed up the socioeconomic ladder allowing us to build careers and travel. The struggle, the hustle, we're well-familiar with that so this is definitely minor compared to past experiences. Still, it's an upsetting situation, but we know we will get through and come out of this as better mexicans ;) thank you!
Thanks for killing the vibe Jenny Downer! Jk! You got a raw deal for sure, but I know you’ll end up in a better spot! Plus you got to ride rides! We want to check out the park soon!❤
I'm sorry it didn't work out. I also went through something similar. But it ended up being a blessing since the stress of the job was going to make my lupus and fibromylagia worse. I think you should follow your dreams and maybe return to Puerto Escondido. The beach always makes my health issues go away. I would love to invest in a house or business in P.E. some day too. Do you know if the lots next to yours are for sale?
Yess, I thought the same thing. The job was already making my fibromyalgia worse, also. It was a "dream job" only on paper, but in reality, it was unhealthy for me. I think there may be one or two lots for sale on our block, yea!
very sad that your "dream lob" hasn't worked out. if you're not finding another job that meets your dreams there in CDMX, perhaps it is time to move on. if a timezone change would be compatible with Kevin's remote work, i've suggested in the past a Spain sojourn for a couple of years - at least 6 months each, making EBT videos there to get that Spain passport - with more options. if that interests you. [it'd be awful if you later decided you wanted to do that but, the option had ended - a variation on what happened to me with Belgium]
It was my dream job on paper only, unfortunately. Yes, that option is always in the back of our minds! We love Spain, but Mexico is home and not sure we'd make that move, but who knows..
6:21 I mean, 199 pesos for six and 290 for 12 wings seems kind of...expensive. BUT, it's probably what to expect at a theme park. Do the wings come with fries or anything, or just wings?
@@EatBailaTravel Oh. Well...dang! The chickens probably come from like a special place then. Like...wagu chicken farms where the chickens drink wine and get massages. That's probably what it is. ( 😆 )
Hola...Sorry about this major shock in your lives....However, the instant truth that went off in my head was: When one door closes another door opens. A portal to something more beneficial and in alignment with growth and life's purpose. Relax a minute and embrace the unexpected change. Digest what you have learned over the past 90days. It's been epic. Good energy for greater clarity and deeper understanding sent your way.🤗🤗
That sucks dude. I guess first weigh your options. What jobs are available where you are at, start applying to see if any hits. I would start seeing what your saving situation looks like and see how long of a buffer you guys have to make a decision. I would then see what are the ramifications of breaking the lease is it worth it or can you stay the year with how things currently are. If you can't and need to make a decision quickly, start thinking of your options of where you can move w/ your current budget and start planning it out. Possibly even start thinking about maybe getting a roommate to see offset your costs. Take a deep breathe and just think things out to see what options are best for you guys.
All good advice! Thank you, Luis 🙏🏽 We’ve been told that we’d be charged a penalty fee equal three months of rent to break our lease. That’s a lot of money!
We've followed you guys since COVID and I have to say ask what brought you to Mexico from Chicago in the first place. Big cities offer lots of events and convenience at the cost of lost time (traffic, for example) and bigger social distance (despite been in a denser place, ironically). If you're a Tamagotchi and your needs are Eat | Baila | Travel, how full are those bars and what place best fills them? But maybe Job Stability is a new bar now hmm
You make excellent points. We moved to Mexico way before this job and will stay in Mexico despite and without it. Though, we were looking forward to the solid income and building a work/credit history in Mexico for future financial goals, but it's okay. We'll figure it out. Job stability helps, but it's not what motivates us
Hola amigo agradezco mucho tus buenos deseos.
Everything happens for a reason even the bad things so I personally think you should move somewhere where you can live within your budget so you can feel free and not stressed out, I personally would suggest opening up your own business
Thank you for your advice, Alonso! Looks like we're going to stick out our lease because otherwise the penalty is 3 months rent to break it early... but definitely will be watching our spending carefully and eating out a lot less.
@@EatBailaTravel I plan to move to puerto Escondido in the next year or 2 I already bought a couple lots in puerto Escondido and I’m building a house sometime this year hopefully 🤞 so I can avoid paying rent and im hoping to open up a small business
@@EatBailaTravel I purchased 2 lots one close to the bacocho beach and another one in a new development area I think it’s called palmerito by some new hotels that are being developed
leave mexico city. it’s honestly awful, overpriced, loud, miserable traffic, terrible air quality. if you did chicago, you’re doing a bigger chicago but in mexico. it’s not good on your health. talk to your landlord and either break the lease or find someone to take ir over. then go back to puerto escondido, hook up starlink, and find a remote job earning dollars and maybe grow this channel as a side hustle. you were happier there. it’s still pricey, but it’ll be cheaper than mexico city, and you’ll be far happier with the more laid back lifestyle in my opinion.
@bklyn2797 you're pretty spot on. It's something we're seriously considering, heading back to PE, but we talked to our landlord and there is a penalty fee equal to 3 months' rent to break our lease.. so we'll be sticking out our lease, which gives us some more time to figure out what to do next so we can make the best of it.
Edit: I didn’t share many details because I need to keep this private for now as I plan to pursue legal action. Thank you all for your kind and respectful comments.
I just noticed that our Salsa Para Bailar Patreon members’ names are missing from this video. I’m not sure how that happened! Very special thanks to Chuck Smith and Bianca Buick for their support 🙏🏽❤️❤️🙏🏽

Yea, moving and settling into a new place is expensive. Thanks so much for your kind words!
My heart hurts for you Jenny but please remember you did not lose this job. The job lost you. Every single time I’ve lost a job, something hugely better came to fill the void. For now, do the things that make you smile and feel peace. The answers will pop up at the perfect time

What part of Mexico are you moving to? Are you moving with your parents or do you have kids? Sorry to ask such personal questions lol but I'm so happy that you are making this move and wish you the absolute best quality of life, health and happiness ❤️🇲🇽
Just a little hiccup in the big adventure of life, you guys are young, talented and smart, you'll be fine😊😊!!
Definitely. Thank you!
I love your channel too and find it wonderful that you support Jenny and Kevin! ❤️
We're definitely feeling more positive these days, over 3 weeks later, and looking forward to what the future may bring ✨
Also, we've decided we're sticking to our lease, so you have until August to visit us in CDMX! Aquí tienen su casa, se quedan con nosotros. Let us know if you can squeeze in a quick weekend visit sometime 🤗
@sjmlearns Juliana and Martin are among the most TALENTED CZcamsrs we're lucky to have met. We love their channel ❤️
That’s a great expression. Never heard it before but I love it. Thanks so much for your kind words 🙏🏽❤️
Agradezco mucho el ánimo que me mandas 💚
Thanks so much for catching up on our videos 🫶🏻🥰
Rooting for you two! We’ve been exactly where you are. Something INCREDIBLE is coming. Stay strong ❤❤❤
I appreciate your good vibes, Lauren ✨❤️🙏🏽
Kevin, Batman did you dirty! I had to chuckle at your mom’s solution to try and get you on the ride. God Bless her. Hugs Jenny. This too shall pass. Praying for both of you. Always.
Lol. Thanks, Katherine ❤️ hugs right back!
I follow many influencers that work remote jobs from US companies in Mexico. You are educated and have a good head on your shoulders ❤you will come out stronger
Thank you 🙏🏽 @ezsand0077 ❤️
Rejection is redirection, follow your gut/heart/dream. Have faith that it is what is meant to be. 🙏🏼
thank you 🙏🏽
I'm sorry hon, you look so hurt!
Look forward and drive through!❤
@Wilfredos_ thanks so much! Wishing you a smooth move to Queretaro!
thanks, you guys. You're the best. Hugs!
Thanks so much for your kind words. I trust that you’re right 🙏🏽 thank you and yes if you’re ever in Mexico City let us know!
It’s gonna be okay guys. I might be stressful while copping with the situation but once everything passes you gonna be good.
Tienes mucha razón. Thank you.
Jenny, sorry to hear about the loss of your job. 😢
I hope you are gentle on yourself during this time (taking time to mourn the loss) and do what’s best for you in this next step. Prayers for you. 🙏🏼
Thank you, Hannah. This happened 3 weeks ago so I've definitely been taking the time to move through the emotions. This week I'm getting back to my groove and getting ready to do what I need to do to defend myself.
It's a bummer about the job but when one door closes another opens. Stay positive. -Marc
Gracias! 🙏🏽
Thank you so much. Hugs right back!
@@EatBailaTravel oh! I hope so, it would be great to make new friends in a new town! Good luck guys!
Thank you for taking us to 6 Flags with you. Who knew Mexico had one!. Sorry to hear that about the unexpected news. Please have faith that when one door closes and even better one opens. Chin up...better things are to come!
Thanks so much for your kind comment 🙏🏽❤️
Im so sorry things didn’t work out at your job as I knew you were very excited and you made so many changes based on the fact that you would be working there. Don’t lose faith as I know something better and everything will turn out well for you guys. Keep your chin up, and remember that tough times don’t last forever. Sending hugs and good vibes to you.
Thanks for your kind words, Luzma 🙏🏽 saludos
Mama, that job is not making or breaking you. The educational field is so vast and you have youth on your side. Go through your emotions, because it's important....but then be done with it. So much opportunity ahead of you, mama, you just can't see it yet. That's where your faith is going to have to step in. Faith in yourself and keeping a positive attitude. Just be patient, it will happen but not in the way you expect. Sending you and Kevin all my positive vibes.
@DJ-ld6um thank you, thank you so much 🙏🏽 words I totally needed. Blessings to you ✨
We're sorry to hear the job didn't work out. You guys are resilient, and there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong amigos.
muchas gracias amigos 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Hi guys! What a fun day at Six Flags, thanks for showing us around!
Don’t be deterred Jenny, you have so much talent, I’m sure you’ll get over this bump quickly. I appreciate you sharing with us and wish you the very best, love your content!
Thanks so much for your kind comment, Damaris! ❤️
That's so frustrating, Jenny. I'm really sorry to hear. But I know there are many good things ahead for both of you. 💕💕
I hope you're right 😊 thank you!🙏🏽
In spite of your setback, you went out and created great content. I have followed you guys for over a year and feel like I know you. You are part of my own Mexican journey. I really have no advice for you except keep putting one foot in front of the other. It breaks my heart to see you so disappointed. Un abrazo para los dos.
Aww, thanks so much, Jeff! 🥰🫶🏽 I'm so honored to be a part of your mexican journey. Un fuerte abrazo right back at ya
So sorry to hear it did not worked out, hope that there is a good resolution. Like many said, I am sure there are better plans in store for you, who knows maybe we get to neighbors in Queretaro one day. Hugs to both of you, so nice to see you guys doing this video and enjoying some time off.
Thank you! 🙏🏽
Thanks, Chris! 🙏🏽 making content in CDMX is still a goal 🙂 and yea they totally are rigged! 😆🤭😅🏀🗑️
Thank you! 🙏🏽 and yea, actually, I do think it would have been worse.I appreciate your message a lot 🫶🏽
8:22 Aint No Way! LOL! I knew when they were walking towards that ride and looking up at it that it was NOT the ride for me! And then the look on Jenni's face! That confirmed it!
Lol. I’ve been on that one before but not feeling it this day! 🎢😅
Give tours of Mexico city! You could probably make money doing that. You have a following now!
Hang tough! I can't suggest what you should do now, the two of you need to figure it out because only you know what is best for you ❣
thank you, Cindy! Your kind words mean a lot. ❤️
I really liked the Six Flags down there. Good smooth coasters hardly any wait time and it's not crazy crazy busy. Oh and it's freaking clean! Unlike a lot of American places.
True it was very, very clean!
Have faith it will work out for you guys what ever you decide to do , your brother told us once” Dios aprieta pero no ora “ and that gave us hope and look at us now we are in a way better place then that day.. si puedes! Love ya 🤗😘
gracias madrina 🙏🏽❤️ that's a good phrase!
Sorry to hear about the job Jenny!! Best wishes on what ever comes next.
Thank you!
Jenny, follow your dreams and passions, this will lead to the journey you are meant to be on.
Thank you! 🙏🏽
God works in strange ways... remember God closes one door and opens a better one....he takes care of you!!
Break the lease and continue your life..
We love you guys! Jose and Lynda..Dgo Dgo
they don't believe in God tho, they mock me when I talk to them about Jesus Christ and the Vatican harlot
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
So sorry to hear this news, Jenny. Come to Los Cabos and teach/perform dance? Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.
Los Cabos sounds great.. thinking about maybe going for my birthday in March!
I’m alllll about that s’mores station! yummmm!
Right?! Yum
Your cheesy statement is perfect for this cheesy video title and topic lol. Thanks o much for your kind words 🙏🏽🫶🏻
Thanks so much. All good things to consider. CDMX is a city full of opportunities. I’m hopeful.
Sorry to hear that your new job didn't work out. Keep your head up. There is a saying that when one door closes another door opens.
Thank you! 🙏🏽
No such thing as Winter in Mexico, Kevin. It's some Summer in Mexico. There is a dry summer, a nice summer, and a wet summer. Enjoy life your young. Always follow your heart. Something heartbreak leads to better experiences.
Lol true. Thanks for your kind comment!
hey guys :) love your content! care to share why you chose CDMX to root down in over Orizaba or Xelapa?
Jenny got a job in CDMX which is why we moved there otherwise we would definitely go to Xalapa or puerto Escondido
Animo!!
gracias 🙏🏽
Find another remote job, keep on exploring until either of you find a dream job to settle in a place.
gracias primo 🙏🏽 it might be time to start a new business and create our own dream job!
Thanks for killing the vibe Jenny Downer! Jk! You got a raw deal for sure, but I know you’ll end up in a better spot! Plus you got to ride rides! We want to check out the park soon!❤
🥴 lol thanks Kyle! The park was actually really fun. You should go!
So, so sorry to hear.
I appreciate your comment 🙏🏽
Stay strong and positive guys 😊

Bien dicho. Gracias!

Dr. Simi Land?!! COUNT ME IN
Heck yea!
oof, they did y'all dirty huh, hope y'all get everything sorted out.
they really did

In IL Six flags is closed during the winter.
They open for a few dates in December don’t they? For like Christmas events I thought
very sad that your "dream lob" hasn't worked out. if you're not finding another job that meets your dreams there in CDMX, perhaps it is time to move on. if a timezone change would be compatible with Kevin's remote work, i've suggested in the past a Spain sojourn for a couple of years - at least 6 months each, making EBT videos there to get that Spain passport - with more options. if that interests you.
We thought they were pricey. And nope, came with nothing. You even have to pay extra for ranch
@@EatBailaTravel Oh. Well...dang! The chickens probably come from like a special place then. Like...wagu chicken farms where the chickens drink wine and get massages. That's probably what it is. ( 😆 )
Haha I sure hope so! 😆
Good energy for greater clarity and deeper understanding sent your way.🤗🤗
I appreciate your wise words. Will definitely keep them in mind. This happened 3 weeks ago now, and I’ve done lots of reflecting. ✨
Thank you, Luis 🙏🏽
We’ve been told that we’d be charged a penalty fee equal three months of rent to break our lease.
Job stability helps, but it's not what motivates us
❤️
Gracias amigo!
Hola amigo agradezco mucho tus buenos deseos.

Everything happens for a reason even the bad things so I personally think you should move somewhere where you can live within your budget so you can feel free and not stressed out, I personally would suggest opening up your own business
Thank you for your advice, Alonso! Looks like we're going to stick out our lease because otherwise the penalty is 3 months rent to break it early... but definitely will be watching our spending carefully and eating out a lot less.

leave mexico city. it’s honestly awful, overpriced, loud, miserable traffic, terrible air quality. if you did chicago, you’re doing a bigger chicago but in mexico. it’s not good on your health. talk to your landlord and either break the lease or find someone to take ir over. then go back to puerto escondido, hook up starlink, and find a remote job earning dollars and maybe grow this channel as a side hustle. you were happier there. it’s still pricey, but it’ll be cheaper than mexico city, and you’ll be far happier with the more laid back lifestyle in my opinion.
Cool couple for sure but highly doubt they’re from Oaxaca traveling the world like that..
@@erikdominguez923 they’re not from oaxaca. they have property in oaxaca and spend a lot of time in puerto. look back at their videos.
