I was excited for the opportunity to see Jordan Love as the starting quarterback. He doesn’t have to be Favre or Rodgers. I just want him to be the best Jordan Love that he can be. It’s been an exciting start to his career.
He's really showing some flashes with his arm and leg so far though... without really any weapons on offense. I'm excited to see this era with LOVE
To me he seems like a mix of both. Just taller and more athletic. Early to tell but I gotta good feeling. Lord let this age well
Dude get out of my head lol
Agreed. Three games in with 8TDs and 1 INT and missing two of his best play makers on offense. Now Jones and Watson return to a 2-1 team that would easily be 3-0 if they’d been healthy. They’re one point away from being 3-0 with their only loss on the road. They’re Just in time to play the Lions.
He would settle for a record like Bart Starr's, I'd bet .
That flex celebration was EVERYTHING to a packers fan!
Made me cry 3x on Sunday - Just to see we officially have deliverance from Fmr. #12
@@AMK2401 just knowing what the young man been through and handling it with upmost professionalism. It’s like it was your kid..so I get the crying sentiments 🤣
I was at the game, and the atmosphere at the end of the game was electric! Go pack go!
Yes it was! It was an amazing home opener!
Amazing opener, and an amazing 21st birthday. That 4th quarter was terrifying and electric
So jealous of everyone who was there!
Those last 2 defensive drives were wild
Been going to Lambeau since 83’ it’s always electric!
My first game I was 5yrs old.
Go Pack Go
Kyle hit it on the head. We loved Rodgers. He was incredible. A legend in every sense and did it all. But by the end, the Green Bay Packers were simply Aaron Rodgers.
They’re the Green Bay Packers again. No entitlement because their QB is 12. Young, talented and whole lot to like.
No outward displays of emotion. No sour faces and displaying frustration because a rookie ran the wrong route or dropped a pass. He reached in and said to himself, I'll do it myself and try to find a way to win. Very refreshing after all these seasons of Aaron being a prima donna. Don't get me wrong, I loved Aaron Rodgers but his lack of respect for his receivers and the fact that he could have been in camp last year building a repoire with the new guys was very frustrating as a fan. The very thing he did with the Jets, showing up for camp and making an effort to get everybody on the same page, he could have done a year ago with the team he was on.
You ain’t lying
As a lifelong Packer fan, I agree. Well Said! Jordan Love will be embraced by the fans like AR never was. We liked Aaron but never warmed to him like we did with Favre and will do with Love. Those guys have a passion for play that AR never had.
Do you really know he didn't display emotion? The camera wasn't panning to him on the sideline....
He looked pretty sour in the 4th quarter at Atlanta... especially after the false start of his on the wannabe sneak...
Imagine pretending like what you're saying about Rodgers is true lol. Watson dropped passes and Rodgers told him he was gonna keep coming to him and to be ready. 90% of his teammates have never said he wasn't warm or enthusiastic or friendly. Age gap exists for some players but Rodgers absolutely loving and embraced his teammates and idk why bitterness is leading yall to create these false narratives lol
This is the truest thing I ever read
The guy is still green
Takes responsibility for his mess ups and let his team
This comeback made me so proud to be a Packers fan. Really impressed with Love and the start to this season. Keep it up guys! GO PACK GO!
Jordan has been nothing short of impressive. His calmness and poise are rare. This guy doesn’t blink down 17. The Packers have done it again!
I mean...that's a but premature, he needs to be more consistent, but man, he looks like another big time hit.
I have been rooting for him since that fumbled snap against the bears. He's got Ultimate Chill. Can't wait to see where he goes!
@@curiousKuro16 Wow! All the since...week ONE this year? No WAY!
@scourge8097 LOL okay fair. I guess more accurately I knew he would be a good fit since that moment.
@@curiousKuro16 LOL...hey, whenever you jumped on board...we don't care. We'll drive more bandwagon's if need be.
Cant wait for Jones, Watson and Bak to be back. Going to be some great games this season
Don't forget Jaire
I think we'll see both Jones and Watson on Thursday.
Alexander should be back soon.

Yes, the Packers ARE a very likable team, they are a great team! You Packers are a great team; especially since you are playing without some of your players. Look how all the other players stepped up. You guys are great! Know That!
"Something Rodgers couldn't do with those young guys last year..." As much as I loved Rodgers, I don't know that he COULDN'T do it with the young guys last year, rather it's that he WOULDN'T do it with the young guys last year. Rather than continuing to feed the young guys when they struggled (like Love did on Sunday), he would just write them off and not throw to them. Love didn't give up on Reed this past Sunday. He kept going to him, and eventually it paid off. I'm so excited to watch our young team as it grows!
To be honest, what has surprised me the most is how calm and composed he has been. All the other good work is being demonstrated through this calmness.
rodgers 2nd year starting was soooo much better than his first. i can only imagine what love looks like next year.
And where these young weapons can get to next year
it really does feel like a team now 🙌
Isn't it nice to have a QB who actually wants to be here!
Am I the only person who remembers Jamie saying back in the summer, and I quote " I pity Jordan Love ". I've searched for that clip and cant find it. I know it's early, but he looks pretty decent and his teammates got his back to a man. Well maybe not so much for 69.
I
The best sentence in this whole video is “he’s doing it with the young guys, something that Aaron Rodgers couldn’t do”!
Rodgers did it his whole career how about stop bashing rodgers
@@chasepalmer7574rodgers never did it with young guys. One of the constant comments on him “will he trust any young guys and throw them the ball”.
“These young guys have to EARN Rodgers trust”
Clearly not a packer fan…
Aaron was best at padding his stats. He won a SB. His playoff record is 12-10. But he was terrible at adjusting and making plays. Glad to see Packers moving on with Love!
@@joshtracy4441so devante was a vet when he caught his first td pass?
Rodgers is the most talented QB the NFL history has ever seen! At least Rodgers didn't have to win a game in such a shameful way like Love did. It's a shame when you let the Saints shut you down in the half by 17.
Its hard to argue with the Packers drafting QB's early and having them learn behind a Hall of Famer....seems to be working.
I'm not a packers fan, but I'm excited to see how they evolve this year
Don't forget no Elgton Jenkins either
I think they undersell the value of Reed and Doubs as WRs.
Watson as a deep threat, Doubs with the mid thread , and Reed in the slot is nothing to sneeze at at all, and Doubs seems to be becoming a huge Red Zone threat which is a great bonus
Doubs has some of the strongest hands I’ve seen-Hopkins-esque the way he makes strong hand catches. Reed will be an absolute star in the next couple years, and Watson has the talent to be “Madden cover” good as a deep threat (if he can stay healthy which has proved quite dubious so far).
It is illegal as a Cheesehead to scroll past a "Go Pack Go!" and not like it. We are a team on and off the field, inside and outside of Lambeau, whether in person or online. We are stronger together! 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀
Cheeseheads assemble!

I saw the power of Love last season when he came in for Rodgers because they were gonna lose and he was so good they almost came back for the W. They said "not his time yet"... I've been waiting ever since.
Truth fam'
GOPACKGO!
He’s hungry and wants to play and win
And watching him be a leader and a play maker when he’s down 17 was something magical
he had one of the best to teach him and all the hate he caught
Was hilarious
the guy is lethal and a playmaker and I’m glad I’m wearing his jersey every Sunday
That was my first packer's game and it's not everyday you get the winner's drink at 17 point come back so it was electric when we came back that place went Wild.
Been saying it for years. Favre won a super bowl because the team was playing for each other. When Favre became a star and started playing for himself, the team failed. Rodgers won a super bowl because the team was playing for each other. When Rodgers became a star and started playing for himself, the team failed. This team is playing for each other. Love is going to be a star. Can he learn from two hall of famers before him?
Well you would be wrong on both accounts. Your blaming the second super run, which ended in a lose, on farve? All the other playoff failures of the defense and special teams, for both Aaron and Brett, on them? Grow up. You’ve shown you know absolutely nothing about the business side of the game. Your comment may make you feel better and impress your buddies who don’t pay attention but is based on 0 supporting data.
The team failed with Favre in the 2nd SuperBowl appearance because they were playing a historically STACKED Denver Broncos roster (hence why those guys won back to back SuperBowls) and as far as Rodgers when he became a star, Ted Thompson gave him absolutely NO support in terms of building a defense so we pretty much relied on Aaron Rodgers and the offense to win us games while not addressing the defense
@@cryptalsmo1649 Farve didn't win the first one, the D did. The second one, Favre had a chance to win it at the end and failed.
Hope he learns what not to do later in his career like Favre and Rodgers lol.
"Packers scored 18 point after Derek Carr goes down with an injury"
Does Derek Carr play defense?
No but a good offense allows for longer time of posession which means more time for defense to rest. Saints D fence held packers to 0 points through 3 quarters and in return only got 17 points. Yeah carr wasnt doing great but he would have at least gotten another touchdown or field goal if he stayed in for rest of game. Also, the saints were starting a 3rd string running back and had multple other starters out, so both sides were equally injured. Hats off to packers they look great this season but if these two rematch again dont expect the same outcome.
The defense isn't the reason they lost its that they couldn't establish a good drive after carr got hurt, so the defense was on the field too much
@hijack8272 The backup QB had better stats after one quarter than Carr had over 3 quarters. Just wanted to point that out for context.
@@coreymiller6717 With a decent amount of those yards coming on the last drive where they had to go for long yardage plays
@@coreymiller6717ya the backups did NOTHING the whole half until the last drive pls stfu.. defense was on the field much more consistently with jamo

You can't help but root for this kid..J Love, Baby!
Derek Carr led his team to all of 10 points and 7 of those were on a shortened field. It wasn't as if they were an offensive juggernaut.
i agree without the punt return and short field saints have 3 points all game
It was 17-0 for three quarters. The playcalling is why the saints only put up 17 and haven’t won by much this year. Carr was throwing better than love was
People acting like carr getting hurt was like Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Brees, brady, mahomes going down. Winston's at least an experienced qb and wasn't just thrown into the wolves
Not to mention the Packers absolutely were beating themselves with dumb penalties early.
@@AcidWords1 Truth
Love is still missing some...fairly routine throws. The type he can make as he'll go out and make a better throw later.
So when he kinda settles in and he evens out...man, he COULD be spectacular.
They couldn’t have said it any better…. Rodgers had the same youth around him last year, and all he did was blame them for his bad play. JLove is proving everyone wrong just by being better with the same young players
Please show the receipts of that happening
@@316ray2Romeo Doubs said in a locker room interview this off-season that Rodgers barely spoke to him in his first year…nuff said. Love’s style of leadership is in stark contrast to Rodgers later in his career. Don’t let HardKnocks fool you-Rodgers was distant and aloof with Watson and Doubs; he was too comfortable being THE FRANCHISE throwing to his best friends-now they’re The Green Bay Packers, not The Team Aaron Rodgers plays for.

Jordan Love can be a top 5 QB in the next upcoming years. Man Packers can pick qbs
As a packers fan I have reason to believe they would have lost this game with Rodgers
Rodgers wouldnt have thrown it to reed who dropped 3 passes. But love kept feeding him and he caught it when it counted
Agreed.
yup, 17-0 and especially on that 4th down we didnt convert. Rodgers wouldve phoned it in out of frustration and tried to play hero ball, Jordan stayed patient and took the checkdowns when he needed to
And we would’ve won last week. What’s your point?

What do ya know nfl crew actually giving the packers some credit and notice for once. And not the chiefs or Dallas or the bears all off-season and guess where the bears are. Yall take notice of the packers and Love. Give them the credit they deserve and finally some screen time.
Remember when Kyle thought Justin Fields was HIM and the Packers were done as Kings of the North? Oh how things change over three weeks.
Saints laid an egg..Saints gave Love the game..
Dare I say that Rodgers was holding back the team the past few seasons?
Definitely last year. His MVP seasons were just choke jobs when it mattered
I couldn't agree more.
He was not…. That’s stupid.
I would last year he could’ve done more
Special teams and bad defenses held them back
I jus' felt the luv' beam
Pure emotions.. One of the best Packers game in awhile. What a ride fam' 🤯
GOPACKGO!
If you watched this game, it was super strange. The wr"s dropped a ton of easy passes, but caught ridiculous ones. AJ Dillon is a liability on the field, when he was supposed to be the best backup in the league. Jordan Love? Never phased! I'm not even a Packers fan and I found myself frustrated. I really wanna see this team healthy. Watch out!
I’m afraid Dillon is too predictable. Everyone knows he is going to be driving up the middle and it’s being easily countered. I thought it was fresh the play where they tossed it to him on the outside and he got a lot of yards on that run. But ultimately, he really works best when Jones is healthy too so the defense has to counter both speed and power
With running, blocking is everything. Teams are stuffing the run to force Love to beat them with his arm.
AJ Dillon plays a lot of protection for Jordan Love = our offensive line not so great.
That’s just so crazy how he did that in the 4th quarter I forgot all about Aaron all ready
I wonder what the coaching staff apparently saw that made them not run more than throw when they wouldn’t need to put so much pressure on Love so early on.
Obviously Jones was out but they give up on the run so easily when that is what complements a good defense which they are so proud of.
FEEL THE LOVE!!!
Proud packer fan
Can't wait for Thursday!
I have a friend who’s a Packers fan… I kinda feel bad for him. Farve to Rodger’s to Love. He may not become a HOF player but he is a loooooong way from bad. And he’s willing to follow the game plan and throw to someone with a last name other than Cobb
I'm very glad to see Jordan Love as a QB
I keep hearing about their great comeback, but ignored the Saints lost their QB in the 1st half. The "comeback" came after that.
Carr went down in the third quarter 😂😂
Packers were down 2 all-pros, 2 pro-bowlers, and our top receiver. Plus our all-pro linebacker got injured in the game. You got beat by the youngest team in the league with injury issues.
@@JanisFever Kamara, Marcus Maye, Paulson Adebo, Jamaal Williams were out too with Carr hurt in the 3rd quarter. Acting like the Saints were fully healthy. good game but you're ignorant to not acknowledge Saints had key players out too

last time i checked derek carr does not play defense lmao
Besides the TD pass after being gifted a short field, Carr & Winston didn't play all that differently. Not too mention being down 4 offensive starters...? Maybe N.O. was a little 2-0 fool's gold...?
Give Gary a contract now!!!
Ok, he was poised and came back from 17 down without Bakhtiari, Jones, Watson, Jenkins and Alexander, but a 72 yard TD drive in the fourth wouldn’t have happened without 67 penalty yards on the Saints. Love is playing well, but let’s not put him in the ring of honor yet!
The Packers had 5 penalties for 60 yards in the first half…JLove rose the challenge and that’s the fact…
Super excited! Packers should be 3-0
Saints would've smoked them if Carr didn't get hurt, but good on the Packers for rallying.
Well if the Oline for the Saints was any good maybe that could have been the case.. But instead he got sacked over and over.
Didn’t Aaron Rodgers also had a 4th qtr comeback against the bears in 2018?
And they did it without the top 4 players on the team.

Love is going to be a Hall of Fame player before retirement. Why? Because green bay still believes in old school drafting.

Now we going to have conspiracy theories for the NFL games, 70 points by Dolphins, KC win and so forth
This why Jordan is now here-by dubbed= COOL LOVE "KOOLUV" he plays with such patience in the pocket and keeps his COOL. this was his 4th start ever. So YES, he plays and stays COOL!!!!
For any saints fan that wants to use the argument “ we only got beat after Carr went down” to their advantage….. how? Why? I’m pretty sure our defense plays your offense which only gave up 10 I might add. And our offense plays your defense. Our offense basically gave you guys your first td with that bs trick play. Your top 5 defense is to blame. We started the game missing 5 of our top 10 players and lost another one. Quit crying. Feel the LOVE guys.
Is a momentum swing..happens in sports all the time. Sometimes you can ride it to a victory, like the pack did. Sometimes is a nothing burger.
We started the game missing 4 starters too wats your point? Qb goes out and offense cant even get a first down.. that tires the defense and swings the momentum pls stfu n enjoy ya fluke win
Y’all are lucky Carr went down. Also, nice special teams. If our playcalling wasn’t bottom 5 we actually would’ve been able to give our TOP 5 defense a chance to catch their breath. WD4L.
Speaking as the Saints fan I am 🗣️” U CANT WIN A GAME WITH ONLY 17 POINTS IN THE NFL!!!! Shot out to the Packers for showing the delusion some of the fans have
so are you just gonna ignore the fact that the Saints couldn't score once Carr went down? are you this dense in your little head?? Carr was leading the Saints offense well that game and its safe to say the Saints would've scored more than 17 if Carr stayed in. With that said, im not crying about it and saying the Saints should've won and all that. Packers played a good game and fought hard for a win. But you are just plain ignorant to think and say the game and score wouldn't have been different if Carr never went down with injury.

The stats for Derek Carr and Jamis Winston was nearly identical
Winston's stats came after they fell behind in score. He stat padded
Jamies didn’t have a td and most of his yards came on one play to Olave and it wasn’t even a good throw
“He’s our guy if he’s great good if he stinks oh well he’s our guy”
I mean, I support Love, but to say he has exactly the same situation Rodgers had last year is silly. Rookie vs second year dudes is significant.
The saints fans that complain about injuries clearly didn't realize the Packers are missing 4 of their top 5 players on the team to start the game and lost more during the game. And their QB is only on his 3rd start.
Don’t make too much out of Carr going out. Jameis put up almost identical numbers.
There will be ups and downs for G.B. but this team is scary talented.
The week before the Falcons make a field goal this week the Saints miss a field goal...Green Bay needs a lot of work... I've been a Packer fan all my life and they really look sloppy out there... I can only hope they can get better soon...
It’s the youngest team in the league, what do you expect??? Being 2-1 at this point is a plus
@tremain7056 I expect better against the non contender teams. Youth is a plus. Inexperienced is not. I think this team can win the division but they'll have to clean up a lot of mistakes. Never settle for Mediocrity. They are better than that...
@@johnnyford9839 Yeah but this is a learning curve…this is literally the youngest team in ALL of football…mediocrity is expected early on, not to say it’s accepted but you can’t really expect this team not to make mistakes here and there…let’s just let them play week in and week out and let them actually get better over time as opposed to expecting us to beat non-contending teams….newsflash: this Packers team is not a contender so lower those expectations 😂
@tremain7056 If Lombardi thought like that, the Superbowl trophy wouldn't be named after him... They're professional athletes getting paid a lot of money, and I anticipate the Packers winning it all every year...😀
@@johnnyford9839 Yeah you got unrealistic expectations but I’m all for it 😂😂😂😂
This Packers team reminds me a lot of when they threw Farve out
I didn't see Derek Carr on defense. The defense held him to 0 through 3 quarters.
Full steam Packers are what you call them as 4th quarter comeback underdogs
But Carr! The back up's stats look very close to Carr's, so Winston didn't come in and botch it. The Packers D clamped down and would've done the same to Carr (what's he done this season to make anyone think he'd have done a better job?) and Love put the offense on his shoulders and willed them to score. Now if it was Josh Allen or even Trevor Lawrence I might accept this argument, but not Carr who just hasn't clicked with this new offense yet.
That’s not accurate. Winston had his major stats after the Packers took the lead. Then the Saints misses the field goal. If Winston had those stats at any other drive, the Saints run out the clock.
Amazing 4th quarter, but lets not completely forget that the first 3 quarters were arguably the worst i’ve ever seen from the Packers.
