  • Burgers have got to have personality! This Lamb Burger has the perfect Desi twist to make it lip-smacking addictive. Make this into patties or even into kebabs, the Hari spice does all the work with the intense and tangy, salty, spicy flavours that brighten up the dish. You can pick it up on our site www.ricksgoodeats.ca and we can ship to you all across Canada USA and the UK! Show us how you use our spices by tagging us #RGEathome
    Ingredients
    454 g lamb
½ cup finely minced red onion
    2 cloves finely minced garlic
    1 inch finely minced ginger
    ½ cup finely minced mint
    ½ cup finely minced cilantro
1 finely minced red or green chilli
    1 ½ tablespoon Hari spice
    Pinch of salt
    1 tablespoon of olive oil
Combine all ingredients into the lamb, and mix well using your hands. Form patties and add oil as needed to minimize sticking. Poke a little indent in the middle of your patty to minimize shrinking in the pan. In a non-stick frypan on medium high heat, add a drizzle of oil into the pan before adding in your patties. Cook for 1 ½ to 2 minutes per side for medium-well doneness. Remove from pan and let rest for a few minutes. To dress your burger, used a bowl to cut round Naan Sliders out of store-bought naan’s and toast in the same fry pan as the patties. Once toasty, add our Sour Cream and Hari Dip from our previous video on each side of your bun. Top with arugula, sliced red onion and your Desi Lamb Burger patty. Sprinkle a little extra Hari spice on top for an added pop before closing up your sandwich. THATS a burger with some personality!

If you can't eat beef, lamb or goat makes so much more sense than chicken for a burger. As long as it's red meat it really does not matter that much.

I thought this was easy.. until I heard Hari Spice... game over. What the hell is Hari Spice? Why not Kumar Spice or Rick Spice? Rubbish
