Going on a journey of self discovery is extremely important for young people. The journey could take you on a gap year, moving out, living alone, in a relationship etc. The important thing is meeting your true self and getting acquainted. The comfort zone doesn't bring growth or change however, it is comfortable and serves its purpose which is to nurture.

Liked your advice about love Angell, young people need to know that. Compartmentalizing isn't nice though, some of the roles we assign people aren't healthy. Venting to the same person can really drag that person down, it's unhealthy for both sides tbh. Happy to hear your family is appreciating you and your advices when you moved back home, for us whom cant say the same stay strong and try make it an opportunity to observe how family dynamics formed you and what one have to work on to obtain some sort of peace.

@@AlieshiaTV LA is a place that if you’re authentic and not tryin to have a one track mindset they will turn on you and it’s a divided place it’s more racist in California then any other state I ever lived in especially being black in California especially LA they really don’t care about you it’s in the jobs it’s in the people and I’m not use to that plus it’s just way to expensive for no reason

"You should never ever just ghost someone." It was at that moment I hit that subscribe button and turned on the notification bell.
"All these different things that people are just saying is okay when you are just avoiding accountability " I agree.
It is refreshing to see a young person like myself, who is not conforming to society's linear version (if that is the appropriate term to use) of what your life should be like. One person came up with a saying, 'if they don't, then you don't' and everyone is blindly following along.
A guy told me recently that he stopped talking to me to see if I would reach out. My response was if everyone did that, no one would talk to anyone. The funny thing is I stopped messaging him because everything he posted on his page was subliminal messages to people, if you have a problem speak up bro. We are all adults. If I did not message people when they don't message me, hardly anyone would talk to me. What should I do? Cut them off? Block them? Nope. I don't have a block finger, much less a petty one. If they are on my mind, I reach out "Hey sis/bro, hope you are doing well" Everyone is busy and if I join the bandwagon of 'If they don't reach out, then don't reach out either' mentality, then I would be just like them and I prefer to do better. I know my limit with people, so I do not get carried away
There was a distant relative of mine that committed suicide and I was not able to talk to her because I was not online that day before she did it. Even though it is not my fault and I am so not a social media person to always be online, I still felt like I wished I was online more to see her last status and talk to her. Who knows, maybe it would have helped. So I wished people these days would stop being petty and reach out to people even if they don't. You never know what other people are going through. You don't even need to be best friends with them to reach out.

I’m so sorry for your loss. When people are in pain there’s only so much that you can do. You seem like a very thoughtful and caring person so I’m sure she knows how much you loved her and cared for her ❤️ and it’s a sad thing to see people choose pride over maintaining a genuine connection. For those of us who do choose to reach out and show that we value others, we’re seen as soft.. I’m really hoping that one day everyone can open their eyes and see the bigger picture, that by sticking together and looking out for one another we can make way more progress as humans rather than doing everything alone

@@AngellK thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind words. We ere most definitely seen as soft but that’s okay. It’s okay to be soft and caring. And yes, pride is chosen over every other petty problem so much these days. I hope everyone can see the bigger picture as well. The world will be a much better place.
