Kinsey Roberts I would say the freeze dried chicken. It’s one ingredient and they sell it off of amazon. They as well sell it in most pet stores.

I would leave my crew out at night, but they like to get on my bed and I'm afraid I would roll over and squish one of them lol

Omg I love your videos so much. You have helped me too be the best ferret momma I can be and I appreciate it! The last part of the video where you talked about how feeding raw can be overwhelming. And oh boy did I need too hear that. I just switched him onto a raw diet and I did a lot of research before hand and have a whole meal thing planned out. But still find myself freaking out hoping I’m doing what’s best for him. And you saying that really helped calm my nerves with it. Thank you! 😊

I have a question! Where do you get the raw food for your ferrets at.
Hey I'm just asking but is it ok with you if you could make a video of trying to convince my parents so i could get a ferret because I keep trying and trying but they still say no. I have been to different channels and look at a bunch of different sources and I write a 3 paged paper of research but they still say no. And I'm getting an allowance for doing extra chores.

do you throw out themeat that they stash and dont eat? id assume the meat isnt safe to reuse after a certaint point of sitting out. especialy when you more than likely serve the food room temp for having the food come off natural for them

Ferrets are not vegan. You can be but they cannot be. Don't make them eat kibble just because of that. I know it's hard but their species need meat. You'll get used to it I promise

they definitely eat the bones and it's safe to feed them bones as long as they are not cooked.

Hi just a question, would it be ok if I get a small cage for my ferret if its free roam? Just so it can have something to sleep in at night and so it can have the food and water there. It will mostly be free roam and have access to my house.
mine are free roam and have no cage, raw feeding doesn't require you to leave a food bowl out:) just water.

It’s not recommended because it can throw off the bacteria in their gut. If you wanna feed dry kibble, I would watch her video on how you can make dry food better! ❤️

A ferret nation with 2 story's with 2 ferrets give them a lot of space which is good 👍👍👍
And it really depends on the ferret and there age for how active they are. I would say both gender ferrets are about the same about being active. And yes you can keep both male and female ferrets together. But some ferrets are only ferrets.

My two ferrets bite wires and cords. It’s not constant but occasionally. I would be terrified if they got one not corded. How did you get lucky where they aren’t biting yours? I see a lot of ferret owners who don’t have cord protection. Yup, you just described be. Completely overwhelmed lol.

i think so, they sleep 18 hrs of the day so they’ll probably just learn to go to sleep while you’re at school

Are you allowed to give them cooked foods
While you CAN feed them cooked meat, cooking it destroys a lot of the nutrients that they need and would get from the raw variety. The only real danger, however, is that bones become brittle when cooked, and they can splinter and hurt your ferret, which does not happen when raw.

Yes that cage is good! I would buy that if I wasn't broke, lol.
Better save up a little more and get the ferret nation, the doors are small on the ferplast one and that is gonna really make it a hassle to clean.

At least with my parents they really don’t like how ferrets “stink” they also don’t like how ferrets poop a lot but if you have them litter trained that’ll make cleaning a lot easier. That’s just with my parents your might be different
It's a possibilty that you could get a ferret that chews cords. Ferrets don't know how far they can jump 🙄 and can get hurt while trying to jump to another object. They have short lives if you live in the United states.

they can be extremely pricey! something that's really important to do is to have *at least* $1000 saved in an emergency fund, per ferret. everyone i've talked to says it is worth it though

I walk my ferret on a leash for 6 blocks every night, and if I don't, he'll tear my house apart! First the books come out of the bookshelf, then the plastic containers under the sink and then he looks at me as if to say: Dad, if you don't take me for a walk tonite, you'll have a big mess to clean up!

No they can't, you could bleed but they are carnivores like cats so you could bleed depending how much they like you and how Hyper they are. if they are hyped up by playing alot and they bite you its becaus they usually play really rough.If they like you they would softy bite (or if they were trained to not bit as hard. They could bit hard because they just didn't know better)
