Ukrainian girl surprised by real Elsa from Frozen after going viral in bomb shelter

- Seven-year-old Amelia Anisovych came to the world's attention in a viral video of her singing Frozen’s Let it Go in a bomb shelter during the conflict in Ukraine.
She was invited to sing again on the National Lottery’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash, but little did she know she would be singing with the original cast members.
Samantha Barks and Emily Lane, who play Elsa and Anna in the West End version of the hit film, joined her on stage and she could not contain her excitement as the crowd and hosts were moved by the performance.
The National Lottery’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash will air on ITV1, STV and ITVX on December 31 from 8.30pm.

I remember watching her sing in that bomb shelter. For a brief moment a child made everyone in that shelter forget about the horrors going on outside and brought them some peace. I have often thought about her and hoped she survived that shelter. Knowing that she did and watching the joy on her face here brought tears to this old man's eyes.

Of course I feel for the Yemenis, but their country hasn't been ruthlessly invaded like Ukraine has. Ukraine are our brothers in arms and will be for many many years! - The middle East and Africa are quiet in condemnation of Russia and for assisting Ukraine, so maybe you should look to those countries to help you instead of thinking Europe should solve everything?

I did cry, when Amelia was singing in basement. I did cry, when she was singing in Poland after she was brought to safety in Poland. I did cry when one of Polish politicians said in interview that there was a secret operation to get out Amelia from Ukraine because "Amelia was a target for ruSSians" as she became one of the symbols of Ukrainian defense. I did cry while watching this video, but this time I did cry because this little, cute girl was so happy, as some of her dreams came true. Not gonna lie, as soon as the actresses got onto stage, this girl's excitement and the general sense of this moment got me tearing up. So touching, kind and one huge bird to Russia for their murderous nonsense. Hope you get through this, Ukraine!

A little girl got the kind of surprise that will stay with her for the rest of her life. Good luck, young lady, and don't be afraid to perform in front of a crowd. I can't say I ever had such a surprise, but once I overcame my stage fright I had the fun of performing live for a very large (10K+) audience. There is nothing quite like the thrill. Cherish the memory, my little friend. It's a GOOD thing.
