Saw him live maybe half dozen times. Never ever did i see any keeper as good. A modest genius never to be forgotten.
One of the reasons why I want to be a goalkeeper
that save is crazy. The fact he sort of dived backwards and barely tipped it over the bar is stunning. And he didnt even react he just stood up for the corner
I had the privilege of actually see Gordon play at Elland Road against my team Leeds. Once against Leicester and then a few times against Stoke. I often think if Leeds had been able to sign Gordon we would probably have won more trophies. Absolute legend 👏

You don't know how tough is goalkeeping
It is more tough emotionally than physically. Is it like this for you because for me it is. (Not emotional during matches but when we lose i feel bad for my self maybe because i am vice captain)

There are many different things in football other than goals. Like the video said if you can’t score make sure they can’t score against you. We’re not calling defenders or when a player defends a villain. There are many different ways to be a hero in this sport. He was a hero showing his skill, and how goals aren’t everything, people could respect him especially when someone shoots and he saves it they should respect that.
